Buyers beware
October 10, 2023

If you Google shop the products in their magazine, you will find them elsewhere for 1/3 the price!
Additionally, everything is noted as 'the best..." The two items I purchased, were far from it. Not quality.
My suggestion, Google shop that product first. What you will discover will make you instantly trash that magazine.

Really Disappointed
September 5, 2023

Bought an ottoman with table, and table came cracked and scratched. Called about replacement. Was told to send whole package back. Well couldn't find a box big enough to return it, because box was left out in the rain and was soaked. Didn't get much off just delivery fee. Really disappointed with service. Definitely not ordering off here again.

I purchased their Best Ideal Temperature Dry Eye Relief Mask, price $113.52. Received it the end of April; it stopped working by early July, i.e., it work for about 2 1/2 months. They agreed that the was defective but the refund deducted $14 for handling and the total shipping. This is really unacceptable for an item that should work for years, costs over $100, yet only worked for a couple of months.

I ordered 3 bottles of the Ear Health supplement and it never arrived. This was over a month ago. I've called customer service twice with the promise that it was on its way. But I'm still waiting. I thought this was a reliable company. Guess not. I'm not ordering anything from them again.

I just activated a "morning summary" on my iphone and noticed a $14.95 charge on my Amex from Hammacher Schlemmer at 5:30am. I called AMEX to alert them to potential fraud and they looked at my account and said this company has charged my card this amount every month on the same day for at least the one year they could look back. OMG! I never even purchased anything from this company! Now I have to research previous years to see how long they have been padding their pockets illegally. Terrible company!

Bad battery

The handheld vacuum ORUVIO MODEL 8558. The ion 3 cell battery is not holding a charge.
I use in for 60 seconds, then the vacuum quits working, I have put it on the charger many, many, times
And the battery won't recharge.

Hammacher is a horrible company! I ordered an item from them-an epilator from them. After waiting more than a week, I called them. Customer service told me that the item could not be delivered by the delivery company and was returned to them. But they never informed me, and had the nerve to keep my money!

I ordered an item which was never shipped to me. When I contacted customer service, I was informed that the item is on backorder until mid-June. The order was placed in mid-April, but Hammacher Schlemmer did not have the professionalism to notify me of any delay. I am very disappointed in this company.

I purchased a Christmas tree from Hammacher Schlemmer and received a defective product. One section of lights did not work. I sent it back and requested an exchange. What they did was refund the cost of the tree minus the shipping ($50). I called was told the tree was not longer available and shipping is non-refundable. That is BS, they send be a defective product, they can't replace it and don't even reach out plus make me pay for the original shipping. I will never purchase anything from the again.

Crooked Company

The subscription cost and automatic sign up is underhanded and deceptive and the auto billing is appalling. This company delivered 1 of 3 products purchased and then steal from customers by sliding in the subscription. I do believe this is the worst company I have ever done business with online. Their illegal cramming techniques should be stopped. The lack of transparency, integrity and honesty ensures they have zero chance of a return customer.

Ordered some things for xmas, was a little disappointed 1 toy didn't come, they said it was in box with something I ordered, it wasn't. They did credit me, then I received the third item and it had pieces missing. Now been waiting over a month on a refund they received back on Jan 6th. Did like the 1 item I ordered that was correct. Still waiting

Spend $140.00 and returned item. They kept $30.00 and took a month to see the credit on my statement.
Will not buy from again. Stick with Amazon, Walmart or Target. All with great return policies

Very misleading wages

No one there makes advertsed wages. They don't tell you all the times they send employees home early per year. It greatly reduces their annual wage. During peak season Nov.-Dec. They do get overtime but it is mandatory. Warehouse employees make so little, many have secondary jobs. Management of warehouse is done by the worst micromanager I have ever seen. He is obsessed with firing people and hiring someone at a lower rate. All the top bosses have left due to him directly. Good supervisors with impeccable records. Under this Management Hammacher Schlemmer has had more complaints about staff than ever before.

Light show tree poorly made
December 31, 2022

The Hammacher Schlemmer website has reviews touting how wonderful this tree is. Ours was not made correctly; the light strands are too long on one side so they hang loosely. I have heard others finding this same problem also. The lights work randomly and when you turn the tree off with the remote, some strands stay on unless you unplug it (see photo with two strands lit during the day, the tree is "off". I am extremely disappointed with it, especially for the price.

I will never order anything from this place again. They do false advertisement and claim they have the product. They charge your credit card and they don't reach out to you when they don't have it in stock. I will tell everyone I know to not ever buy anything from this place.

Placed order Aug 11,2022 canceled part of order, due to length of time received order 9/21/22. I cancelled part of order had paid by check. Its now Dec,2022 no refund check.

Ordered a pricey item online in September. Received email a couple of weeks later saying item backordered and they would ship when available. Finally called again when I saw the item was still being offered in the December catalog. Customer service said my card was declined, so mthey canceled the order. I asked if they tried to charge the card a second time. Answered NO. I asked if they had a record of notifying me of this problem. Answered NO. My card was never declined, because Citicard ALWAYS notifies you when a charge is declined. I got no communication from Citicard. So Hammacher did not contact me, did not try a second time, and simply killed my order. I asked for a supervisor, but of course "no one was available", so they said one would call me back. Of course no one ever called me back. Three days ago I received an email from them saying my card was declined so they canceled my order. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY'RE A BAD JOKE.

Please do not order from Hammacher Schlemmer. I never give a bad review without a recommendation for improvement. Here's what happened. Upon receipt of the puzzle table, it was broken during delivery. I spoke with a representative at Hammacher Schlemmer for 15 minutes. I took pictures and emailed Hammacher Schlemmer while on that same conversation and asked for an exhange. I never received the next steps via email and no record of that conversation was ever inputted when I called back. UPS never called to pick up the puzzle table. If you follow-up via email or phone Hammacher Schlemmer just simply starts the process over with no resolution. There are plenty of other companies out there with their products and money doesnt grow in trees so my recommendation is take your precious money elsewhere!

Holiday Inflatable

I purchased a Holiday inflatable for 400.00 on 11/12/22. The site said it was in stock. I have been calling the Customer service and they keep saying it is sitting in the warehouse waiting to be shipped. I just called again this morning and the guy said it is out of stock and I will not be receiving it this year. This company is horrible. Last year I didn't receive the inflatable until 12/17 and it broke 2 days later. What a rip off. I will never purchase from this company again.
