You price, product suggestions (I just order the body wash) and subscription plan are perfect for my needs. I do recommend drying the blade after each use. I get a close shave every time. The body wash smells and feels great. Keep up with the crazy ideas like buying the blade factory!
I tried Harry's a few years ago and loved them. Great razors and blades. The razor felt great in my hand and the blades were the best by far. But I have noticed that the quality has really slipped recently. I needed to get a new razor so I ordered one and found it far lighter and more cheaply made than my original Harry's razor. The blades often poo off while I'm shaving. And the blades only last a couple of shaves now. I used to get at least a week out of them. It makes me wonder if they sold the company to another corporation, or if they've lowered the quality to cut expenses. I recently forgot my razor while on a trip and picked up a Gillette at the market. It was so much better. Harry's used to be way better than Gillette. I miss the old Harry's.
I saw a Harry's razor in a magazine review when the company first started. I liked the cool retro and classic look of their razors and bought a kit. I've been a customer ever since and also buy their shaving cream, which is excellent.

I've been using Harry's Razor and shave cream for approximately a year and a half and I am quite pleased with the product. Delivery is always on time and the pricing is better than buying most popular store brands. No regrets on choosing Harry's Shave system. Makes a great gift.

The bar soap smells great, lathers like no other soap ever has, does not get "mushy" after use, leaves skin squeaky clean "residue-free" and is at a fantastic price. I have all three fragrances and like them all.
It seems that for many Harry's wasn't the right choice, but for me it was great. I've been shaving since I was 16 and shaving my head daily since 1985. This first shave with Harry's was the best shave I have ever had, bar none, and I've tried them all. What remains is to see if the blades they send match up to the free trial blade and to see how long each blade lasts. I usually get a couple of weeks out of blade so time will tell, but for right now I'm sold.
I shave every day unless I'm camping/backpacking. I'm old enough to have used two edge blades, single edged "injector" (Shick and Gillette, even Persona?) and two, three, four..., bladed of all brands. My very first shave with a Harry's blade seemed to require some adjustment on my part, perhaps due to a slightly different angle of the blades? Ever since I have enjoyed the best, smoothest and most shares per blade of any other I've tried.
In the past my husband used high dollar razors. The replacement blades were expensive and the stores kept them locked up so it wasn't even convenient to buy them. Having Harry's priced right blades delivered is spot on.
This has to be the biggest con out there. I assume they spent their budget on slick advertising, nice box and the handles, but not dime on the razors. 5 blades got about as close and comfortable as the dollar store single blades. Bic Flex 5 way out performs Targets Harry's. I would put this razor on the caliber of the Play-dooh razor my kids have, it has a nice handle too and both can shave clay off a fake bearded guy, neither gives a human a good shave

I have been very pleased with all products I have used from Harry's. Everything seems to be very good quality while still being reasonably priced plus prompt delivery. Very pleased, highly recommended.
Answer: Great question, Tony! Blade lifespan will definitely vary a bit based on your particular hair type, shave schedule, and blade care habits. While there's no exact standard for how long a cartridge will last you, we find that the average person likes to replace blades every 6-8 shaves. The idea is that our blades are durable and will last a long time, at a great price.
Answer: The new blades are not as smooth as the old ones and you cannot buy the old ones anymore.

Answer: I had a problem with that when I first got them and found out that I wasn't pusing them on the handle far enough. Also if you hold too close to the blade and choke up on the handle too much your fingers tend to push the blades off. When I held back further on the handles... no worries. Since I changed those two things, I don't have that problem.
Answer: Because when they changed the design of the blade by adding the trimmer, the blade lost its smooth shaving quality, life of the blade and no burn feeling. Now it burns after the shave, blade does not last that long and all you are left with is a cheap blade. If they bring back there 1st generation blades back, I will be the first one to buy them and give back my business to Harry's for LIFE!
