I don't understand the bad reviews this product is getting. I enjoy a nice, close shave every time I pick this razor up! The handle is comfortable (not too thick like other delivery brands) and has a decent amount of grip on it. If I were to complain about anything, it would be the way that the razor head is released. However, I have learned how to hold the handle differently and haven't had a problem since! If you want a smooth shave a reasonable price with the added benefit of delivery service, then Harry's will take Great care of your needs!
I really think your "dry scalp" shampoo is great! It really cleared up my "dry scalp" problem. The face wash, has almost cleared my problems area, and soon will only have use it every other day. Just using two of your "body washes", so far so good. Haven't use anything from last order to date, maybe this weekend. Keep up the good work. Remember, there's always, something needing improvement.
Switched to Harry's 3 months ago from expensive big name razor company and totally love it! I was always forgetting which fancy brand name "ultra" or "pro" I was using, and then had to buy different razors for each type and then often found store out of stock with either, and promoting yet another (ugh!)... very satisfied with Harry's simple approach and great razor quality - no hassles whatsoever. As a man who shaves both his face and head, I have tried them all, even the other membership razors, and Harry's beats them. The shave is one of the closest smoothest non irritating shaves a man can get. I will not let another razor touch my face or scalp.
Their blades (made in their own factory in Germany) have always been great. Their new rubberized handle is a game changer! I use many of their other high quality products too, including their shave gel. The mounting method for their cartridge is unique and makes for easy blade changes. If you are skeptical, you can always go to Target and by their starter kit... not expensive. If you like it, then just sign up for periodic shipments.
I purchased Harry's starter set for my sweetie to try out. He has a very heavy thick quick growing beard that an electric shaver can not always handle. He also has very sensitive skin that reacts to most shaving gels or creams. He loved the products and has not had any reaction to the high quality products. We also like being able to control when the order ships based on his usage. (I've been known to "borrow" his razor a time or two myself!)
I've used other monthly blade services in the past, and the quality of the Harry's blades are far superior. I shave daily and don't have any issues using them for more than a week if I forget to change the blade on Monday. I would also recommend the Post-Shave Balm to anyone who clean shaves on a regular basis. Keeps your skin from drying out after a close shave and helps prevent in-grown hairs.
Harry's is a very responsive company with a great product. They alert me before the next scheduled shipment in case I want to add anything else and my shaving cream and blades come right when they tell me they will. Their body wash is exceptionally good and washes off better than any other I have tried.
I didn't check my account and forgot to cancel the subscription. I got charged 15 dollars for these horrible blades and on top of it my girlfriend threw away the stick. Can't blame her though she obviously notice I never used them. Shaving your neck with these razors is painful and you won't forget the experience.

Answer: Great question, Tony! Blade lifespan will definitely vary a bit based on your particular hair type, shave schedule, and blade care habits. While there's no exact standard for how long a cartridge will last you, we find that the average person likes to replace blades every 6-8 shaves. The idea is that our blades are durable and will last a long time, at a great price.
Answer: The new blades are not as smooth as the old ones and you cannot buy the old ones anymore.

Answer: I had a problem with that when I first got them and found out that I wasn't pusing them on the handle far enough. Also if you hold too close to the blade and choke up on the handle too much your fingers tend to push the blades off. When I held back further on the handles... no worries. Since I changed those two things, I don't have that problem.
Answer: Because when they changed the design of the blade by adding the trimmer, the blade lost its smooth shaving quality, life of the blade and no burn feeling. Now it burns after the shave, blade does not last that long and all you are left with is a cheap blade. If they bring back there 1st generation blades back, I will be the first one to buy them and give back my business to Harry's for LIFE!
