Harry's razors and blades are great. I find them to be of higher quality than the usual suspects. And they are significantly cheaper. Best of all, they show up at my door every twelve weeks. I recommend Harry's without reservation.

This product is awesome, could never get used to the torture of electric shavers, so I use blades, than the cost of blades. Well Harry's has all of them beat, they shave like a glove, it is unreal how much the difference this product

I have been using Harry's for over 6 months now, and I'm coming to the conclusion that I have to be more careful with these than major brands, plus change the blade more often, or I end up with nicks around my mouth, under nose etc. This is a new experience for me... Overall, considering the price differential, I guess it offsets having to change blades more often, but I can't say I am thrilled with this razor, as others have.
We're sorry to hear about your initial so-so experiences with out Blade. We'd just like to see if you have been using our Trimmer Blade, for those hard to reach places like under your nose. To use it, simply turn the razor around so that the 5 blades are facing away from you, and bring the trimmer (which is a single blade on top of the cartridge) up to your hair. You should notice as soon as the blade reaches your hair, and that's the sweet spot! Try out some different angles during your first few shaves to find which one works best for you. I have been on this program for a couple of years now, and I love it. The price compared to the other brands is very good and so is the quality. I'm an older guy with sensitive skin and a tough beard. All razors dull quickly for me, but I find that Harry's do the job for a fair price. Keep it up guys!
We have been subscribing for well over a year. The blades are excellent, arrive on time, Harry's confirms the purchase before shipping. The 3 men in the household share the subscription because they all grow beards seasonally. We subscribed to the "Mystery Purchase for at least 3 delivery packages. The shaving cream, facial wash and combo shampoo and conditioner have all been big hits.
I bought the Winston set for my husband 2 years ago as a valentines day gift. He loved it. It came in a great package. He has been using the razors for 2 years now. I bought him the engraved set for Fathers day. He loves the shave he gets. He's Italian and having to shave daily is the norm for him. It even cuts through the tough gray hair on his face with no issues. I dont understand all the bad reviews on here. I use Harry's razors myself now and love it! I used to spend $$$ on Venus and Gillette, and will never go back. I just put in an order for 16 new blades and cant wait for them to come in :) happy shaving

See my original review below. Updates since then. Harry's has contacted me and explained their changes (see their response below as well) They have sent me new razors and while I don't necessarily like the new rubber for their blades, their quick and customer friendly response has kept me as a customer. I just hope they return to their original great product soon.
I have been a big fan of Harry's for the past two years but something has changed recently. Their newly updated razors are... for lack of a better word... crap. They look and feel cheap and the blades are dull or misaligned. Something seriously has gone wrong here. If I were them I would bravely announce they have a problem, switch production back to the original models and send every customer a free order of 4. I just bought a ton of them and I will have to throw them out. Let's hoe they can figure this out. Rating for products purchased early 2016 and before that 5 out of 5. Current production 0
Really sorry to hear you're having trouble with the new blades, Bill. We did recently update our cartridges, though the 5-blades themselves did not change at all. The 2 changes were that we added a precision trimmer blade to the top of the cartridge (for those hard to reach areas like under the nose and sideburns) and we changed the rubber we use for the flex hinge (it is now more durable and flexible than before).

I have been buying Harry's blades and I could not be happier with the quality and the shave.
But that is only the beginning!
I also purchase Harry's Post Shave Balm. This lotion moisturizes and leaves my face smooth and it feels good!
As part of the "Mystery Gift" program, I received a bottle of the Body Wash. I LIKE this body wash. I have been using a higher priced name brand body wash which is nice, but if I can get one I like for 1/3 of the price and it too smells and feels good, it only makes sense to use Harry's.

I tried Harrys.Com about 8 months ago while looking for a better razor. I found it at Harrys.com. This company has an excellent razor, superior shaving products and fantastic customer service. They provide an excellent, professional, high quality product at a fair price and combine that with top-notch service. Glad to be their customer.
Although Harry's won't sanction the use of their razors for anything but your face, your face, head and anything else you want clean clean will benefit from their product. Fair price, great customer service, all to your door. The best!
There is an unguarded trimmer blade on the top of the blade unit. If you move the razor backwards towards your ear when shaving beneath the ear, or your nose when shaving the top lip you a have a good chance of cutting yourself badly. It should be on the front, pointing downwards like the other blades, to make it safe. Better still, get rid of it completely. The rubber handle gets quite slick and slippery when coated with shaving gel (as is inevitable). Overall, flawed and dangerous design, which is a shame because otherwise it gave a good close shave.
Harry's has been a great relief from the struggle of finding store-bought razors that work well on my coarse beard, only to find they've been discontinued or changed when I need more. I love that Harry's are shipped automatically in the quantity I need when I need them, and I get the same shave at the same reasonable price each time.
Although Harry's is now stocked in a few department stores, I relish the convenience of not having to go to them. I have no complaints!
I've always hated buying shaving products. The prices are crazy, and the tools never impressed me much. But i love my orange razor, and the blades last longer than the stuff i was getting at the store. And the fact that i never have to remember when i'm running out is right up my alley. I'm sold on harry's.
Answer: Great question, Tony! Blade lifespan will definitely vary a bit based on your particular hair type, shave schedule, and blade care habits. While there's no exact standard for how long a cartridge will last you, we find that the average person likes to replace blades every 6-8 shaves. The idea is that our blades are durable and will last a long time, at a great price.
Answer: The new blades are not as smooth as the old ones and you cannot buy the old ones anymore.
Answer: Absolutely! There are lots of women who use our razors so we'd definitely encourage you to give them a try.
Answer: I had a problem with that when I first got them and found out that I wasn't pusing them on the handle far enough. Also if you hold too close to the blade and choke up on the handle too much your fingers tend to push the blades off. When I held back further on the handles... no worries. Since I changed those two things, I don't have that problem.
Answer: Because when they changed the design of the blade by adding the trimmer, the blade lost its smooth shaving quality, life of the blade and no burn feeling. Now it burns after the shave, blade does not last that long and all you are left with is a cheap blade. If they bring back there 1st generation blades back, I will be the first one to buy them and give back my business to Harry's for LIFE!
