Don't bother - I tried using my new Harry's razor for six weeks, but just couldn't make it work. The head has far too much flex to it and it just doesn't shave well. Back to my old Gilette...

I was recently reordering BLADES for my Harry's razor when I was enticed by the offer of a $5.00 SURPRISE, which I accepted. Remember I'm reordering BLADES, which would indicate that I already have a RAZOR ( in fact i have TWO.)
When I received my shipment of blade, I eagerly opened the surprise package to find a RAZOR. Now I have Three.
It seems like common sense that when a customer reorders Blades, they already have the Razor. What am I missing?
As I said, it was a reorder of blades, which should tell you that I'm VERY happy with the Harry's razor system. Yes I I am, but no more SURPRISES for me.

Answer: Great question, Tony! Blade lifespan will definitely vary a bit based on your particular hair type, shave schedule, and blade care habits. While there's no exact standard for how long a cartridge will last you, we find that the average person likes to replace blades every 6-8 shaves. The idea is that our blades are durable and will last a long time, at a great price.
Answer: The new blades are not as smooth as the old ones and you cannot buy the old ones anymore.
Answer: Absolutely! There are lots of women who use our razors so we'd definitely encourage you to give them a try.
Answer: I had a problem with that when I first got them and found out that I wasn't pusing them on the handle far enough. Also if you hold too close to the blade and choke up on the handle too much your fingers tend to push the blades off. When I held back further on the handles... no worries. Since I changed those two things, I don't have that problem.
Answer: Because when they changed the design of the blade by adding the trimmer, the blade lost its smooth shaving quality, life of the blade and no burn feeling. Now it burns after the shave, blade does not last that long and all you are left with is a cheap blade. If they bring back there 1st generation blades back, I will be the first one to buy them and give back my business to Harry's for LIFE!
