I actually love Hautelook. I mainly buy kids clothes from here, and I think it is awesome that they have a return policy, which is so important with children. You really never know how things are going to fit, especially if you're trying new brands -- as Hautelook often showcases brands you may not know about. Their shipping takes longer than other flash sales sites, but I really don't mind. And I've never waited more than 3 weeks for anything. I have never had a bad experience buying or returning merchandise.
Sometimes you can find good deals, but 75% (3 out of 4) of my orders have either arrived with missing items or one a pair of sandals that broke after being worn 5 times. I will say that their customer service has been very good every time. This most recent order was just the last straw because I can't be running to Nordstrom Rack (which is not even in my city) to return stuff all the time.
Terrible shipping. Products, especially shoes, are not even worth the discounted price. I had to call customer service multiple times to follow up on an order. Each time I was told my order was ready to ship. Shipping is expensive through this site. After 31 days passed (with no order shipment) I called to cancel. They do not follow through. I was promised call backs, credits for the late shipment, etc. none of these things happened. Buyer beware! Stick with Amazon or brick and mortar stores. This is nothing like the actual Nordtroms experience. And the deals are not really deals.

I am thinking this is the EXACT same company as "Ten Haute"-just using a different name.
Last SEPTEMBER! (this is February!), I clicked on a "deal chicken" where Ten Haute advertised a 1 hour sale on Hello Kitty watches. I ordered two and paid them directly with my credit card. A month had passed and I heard nothing. I emailed them. They said they would e-mail me when they were shipping out, which would be soon. I waited another month-nothing... I emailed them again... same response... long story short, it is now 6 months later... no watches, no refund. They responded to my last email with "We apologize but the supplier didn't come through with the watches so we are unable to honor the transaction.If you want a refund you need to contact the vendor where you paid"... huh? I paid THEM. Uuuugh. Do NOT deal with this company. Me? Lesson learned. Thank goodness I didn't spend a fortune, or I would have lost a fortune.

Shipping is high in cost, and painfully slow. Also, some items are not returnable, which is annoying. However, I love this site for the deals you can get. I have had nothing but good experiences with them and have been shopping the site for quite some time.

Ordered handbags of 'genuine leather' for Christmas gifts... took two weeks to received... and when they arrived... the color was awful (camel? Looks orange to me!) and the quality of leather... if it even IS leather... was horrible... Got the info for returns off my invoice... logged onto site and went to purchases in order to get the return label... No label! And a note that indicates these items are not eligible for return OR refund! Are you kidding me!? STAY AWAY! Cannot believe Norstroms is associated with this site...

Ok yes i found philosophy products for half off, and yes i found a baby diaper thingy for 40% off... but I paid $7 bucks for shipping and it won't even be here for 3 weeks from the date i placed my order! I think that is crazy! I have been an avid gilt.com shopper (in my opinion the BEST of all the sample sale sites) and get my things w/in a week of ordering them and pay $5 shipping. 3 weeks! 3 weeks REALLY?! FOR $7! I think we know where they make their money now don't we

I should've read the reviews before making my purchase. I purchased 3 items from their website 4 weeks ago. Aparantly items are shipped "within" 2-3 weeks. My items still show that they haven't been shipped and by the looks of it, I'll be waiting a few more weeks. I understand the holidays were busy but come on! I will never order from them again! Seems like they're quick to take your money but not quick to send you the items you purchased. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Hautelook is owned by Nordstroms and I love Nordstroms! They have a great selection of quality brands and great Sunday night deals. Pricing isn't cheap but they offer unique pieces and great descriptions which include the length. Many of the brands they feature cant be found anywhere easily. Shipping costs are high but I dont mind because I only buy special pieces once in awhile and the uniqueness of their inventory is worth it. Ive had a few issues but they are quick to give a $10 credit and refund. Basically I will keep shopping here because I love their selection, presentation of items.

Yes, they have good prices. But when add in the shipping charges plus the wait time (on average about a a month or so, why are we paying shipping?), then it just makes more sense to get it somewhere else. You'll get faster (guaranteed) and most likely at the same price after you paid Hautelook shipping + wait time, as most other places no longer charge shipping. When it comes to returns, well, that's a whole different issue on it's own. It takes the FOREVER to credit you the money back. Anyone else I shop with, it takes at most one week and you get your money back. With Huatlook, on average, it takes about one month, if you are lucky, it will take 3 weeks. Ridiculous. I've been deleting emails from them more and more often. Getting very disappointed and irritated with them!

I hate this site... bad customer service... shipping cost too high and also the waiting for your package is like over a month long... returns are a pain in the $#*! and one customer rep says one thing and the other says another... its always im sorry for this im sorry for that... i return a jacket and its been over 1 1/2 for my refund... will never ever even look at this site again

First and last time shopping at Nordstrom. Yes the exchange rate was pretty bad. But i decided to go for it because I had been eyeing the dress that finally had my size available. It was advertised $40 USD, but after shipping and conversion it came out to $80 CAD. I should have stopped right there. I received the parcel fine. But decided to return it since it didn't fit at all and would take a lot of tailoring. After returning the parcel, it took nearly a month after the shipping tracking number informed that they had received my return until I was refunded. After the mandatory $10 fee for returns and the conversion rate, I was only refunded $35 CAD. NEVER AGAIN.

I've ordered 10 items, spent 400$. They sent me emails saying my shipment was already made and I noticed the money was not discounted from my card. Then I realized that they just blocked my account without notice and they cancelled my order. When I call them all they have to offer was an apology but I was treated like crap and all the items I wanted to purchase were gone. I lost the 3 hours that I spent purchasing in that site for nothing.

Ive been waiting over a month for a t shirt I bought my son, supposedly the rep said that my order was in route and would not provide a tracking number and that was about a week ago... I feel like I got robbed... don't get suckered by them, its cheaper to go to marshalls, old navy and gap than to shop with the, so not worth it. Im out 18 dollars for a shirt I actually found at gap for less on sale

I totally agree with all the one star reviews. I have had more orders cancelled than I received. And they don't notify me it's cancelled. I have to keep calling to find out where the items is, as it's really late in arriving. I spend so much tome dealing with them, it's not worth it!, ordered a $300 ring and it wasNot the ring I bought... lacked the 1 carat diamond that they said it had. Tonight's experience with Yet another item, left me so disappointed with Nordstrom. I can't believe they stay in business don't waste your time,

Do not buy anything from this site. I ordered a wheatgrass planter and found one similar only 5 times cheaper in local store. I contacted haute look to cancel my order as it is not shipped from them to me yet. They refuse to cancel and refund. Stating their policy is I can cancel only if it is within two hours of ordering, after that no return or canceling. So they are shipping me a product knowing I no longer wants them.

Unbearably long wait. I wished I would've read any of these reviews before purchasing. On the item description page it said "Item will arrive in 10 - 14 business days", but right after you place the order the order status page says that the item will get shipped on a date that is almost a month after the date of purchase! By then this item is going to be out of season and out of style, and if your weight fluctuates you probably won't even be able to fit into it! Gilt all the way, they ship rightaway! Never doing HauteLook again, their business model is bogus.

I have been a Hautelook customer for probably about 10 years and always felt as though I was getting good deals, but lately I have ordered something and then I googled the item and have found that I may be saving 1 to 5 dollars. The retail prices are being hiked up. That does not make me really happy so I guess moving forward if I order I'm going to Google the item 1st and see if I can order it directly from the manufacturers website. If that is the case then I don't really need to go through them.
I added a picture of a Tissot watch I just ordered. Found the same watch on the Tissot website for $197.50 and I bought it on HauteLook for $196.97. Not a great deal

I ordered my 2 item on Jan 20... still waiting to receive them. It said it would ship in 2 -3 weeks and when it didn't come, I contacted customer service. They said it would ship out the next business day... it didn't ship out until 5 days later. That was last week Monday... And I still haven't received my order! It didn't even ship until a MONTH after I ordered it! WTH! I'm in Canada so I understand that shipping takes a lot longer but I order several item from a similar company in the same city... and I got those items in 2 weeks! I didn't even ask for express shipping! I wish I had read the reviews before buying. Save your money and just buy it straight from the source.

The products/site is okay, but in a world where amazon.com ships in 2 days, waiting over a month to get a single item is ridiculous (and that's with paying $9 bucks for shipping!)
I'm surprised the brand is associated with nordstroms, because nordstroms has such great customer service... unless they fix the timeliness of their deliver, the site will continue to stay in business.

They constantly make excuses for their bad site. I ordered a pair of boots and a month and a half later, after many phone calls on my end, was told that they couldn't fulfill my order. Wish I knew that a month earlier! They just kept blaming the partner company where the boots were supposed to get shipped from. Nordstrom is an amazing company, but they really dropped the ball with Hautelook. It's really a shame.

Can't believe Nordstrom (Nordstrom Rack) is associated with HauteLook. Bad experience in regards to item fulfillment and shipping. I had always thought Nordstrom provided stellar service, but no longer. Could the reason be because of Nordstrom Rack's association with Hautelook? After reading the reviews online, regarding HauteLook, I believe it's very possible. But, perhaps, Nordstrom deserves to share some of the blame.

Hautelook is a joke, they give you a shipping date then change it three weeks later, you never receive your products in a timely manner, i called several times about my order tht i have been waiting on for over four weeks, i was told the wait to send there shipments in bulk and not individually. I will never order from this site again! Hautelook is a joke!

This company pushes you toward ordering a size thats supposed to be correct but isnt. I ordered and received a pair of booties that were at least 1 to 1.5 sizes too small. I returned them and per their own policy if not refunded within 10 days, no matter what, I would get a FULL REFUND. You normally do not get a full refund. I paid for return postage per their instruction and they still charged me for return postage, I started this endeavor in Jan and today, April 8, I just now got a refund and NOT the full refund per policy. Their email is a non-working email. They are unaccessible. Do not order thru paypal either because they won't help. I am attaching a photo of my cost, not to mention the return postage and my final refund. I am out at least $20 and its their fault for poor sizing recommendation.

I expect a lag in shipping, since I am getting a discount. So as long as you don't mind the time it takes, it is a great site for getting good deals! I have even had to make a few returns with no problems whatsoever.

I've got my order waaay later than it was promised. I've had to call them and send them messages to figure out if I ever get the order. Finally, the sales representative promised at least to refund the shipping cost. After several weeks I've got my purchase, but never the shipping refund. I think they got a good products to offer, but I won't buy there anything anymore. There are so many other online stores with much better customer service. If to talk about merchandise itself, it was good, nothing ripped, same as what I saw on their website.

First order placed never shipped for they ran out of product even though I purchased and paid for them. After 30 days they finally canceled the order. Next order I received a size 6 shoes in a size 8 shoe box. Size 8 is what I ordered. Can't reorder the size 8 again because of the lack of availability. Tip: don't get excited about a pair of shoes ordered until you actually have them in your hands. Also, hautelook says every shoe "fits true to size" which is not the case. Some size 8 boots fit bigger than others. Very surprised since this is a Nordstrom's company.
