I actually love Hautelook. I mainly buy kids clothes from here, and I think it is awesome that they have a return policy, which is so important with children. You really never know how things are going to fit, especially if you're trying new brands -- as Hautelook often showcases brands you may not know about. Their shipping takes longer than other flash sales sites, but I really don't mind. And I've never waited more than 3 weeks for anything. I have never had a bad experience buying or returning merchandise.
Sometimes you can find good deals, but 75% (3 out of 4) of my orders have either arrived with missing items or one a pair of sandals that broke after being worn 5 times. I will say that their customer service has been very good every time. This most recent order was just the last straw because I can't be running to Nordstrom Rack (which is not even in my city) to return stuff all the time.
I wish I would have read about this site before ordering from them. I placed an order on 9/30 and still have not received my items. Oh and by the way my sis works for nordstrom and when I told her about hautelook and their affiliation with nordstrom she said she never heard of them!

I am so in love with HauteLook. If you understand before ordering that the shipping time can be a little long, then you shouldn't have any surprises. Multiple items in one order will sometimes ship separately, but this is because HauteLook is not a store with a warehouse of merchandise. They communicate with the vendors and sellers to have the sale, then contact them with the orders, so the whole process is a little tedious and time-consuming. I think it is owned by Nordstrom Rack, which explains the great prices on designer items. Personally, I prefer HauteLook to Rack because, even though it isn't the instant gratification of actually going to a store, you have a better (but limited!) selection of items.

I am now 0 for 2 with Hautelook! My first order, in January of this year, was cancelled on their end and my 2nd order was wrong. I placed it on 3/31 and just received it today. But they sent me the wrong dress in the wrong color. The CS rep, Taylor, was nice, and offered me Hautelook credit but what good is their credit if I'm reluctant to purchase from them? Paying less is nice but irrelevant when you don't receive your order.
Suffice it to say I am extremely disappointed in them and, despite all of their cute merchandise, I can't foresee putting myself through their nonsense again. I'll just continue to purchase elsewhere as MyHabit, RueLaLa, Gilt & Editor's Closet as well as others all have great merchandise at a great price and you actually receive your order... novel concept!

Got an email saying i return too many items. Sure, but I keep a lot of them also and I return most of them to Nordstrom Rack. I have been a customer for 10 years and have spent a bunch of money on items I actually kept. I can't believe this company. They are going to lose so many customers... it's impossible to shop online on their flash sales and not return items.

I ordered the facial cream from this website which came long expired based on the color and smell. I sent out the request and received no response (even with the acknowledgement that they received my email). Then, I had to contact a person who was helpful but he had no authority to solve the problem and had to forward my claim to others. Then, the matter became silent again.
That is very irresponsible and unrespectable attitude to the customer. Stay away from buying the cosmetic product from it as you cannot use it unless you want to damage your skin with the expired cream/lotion.

Please stay away from this horrible site. I bought a ring and was send a wrong one. When i reached out they were ofcorse out of stock blah blah and offered me 20% off if i decided to keep it. Which i did coz i hate returns as i work in customer service too. Then 2 weeks later same ring came back so this time before i ordered i messaged them again and they reassured that this is the right one. Ofcorse those idiots send me the wrong item again. And when i reached out this time the idiots tell me i can keep this wrong ring for 30%off. Wow the stupidity of hautelook is beyond me. They false advertise and instead of helping customers they still try to make the sale so we don't return.

I ordered an iPhone case from them. It took ten days to arrive and when it finally did, to my surprise, it was the WRONG case. I contacted Hautelook and they offered me a refund because they no longer have it in stock. That was the SECOND time this has happened to me with this company. The first time I ordered a swimsuit (top & bottom.) I was extremely disappointed when only the top arrived. They said they oversold the bottom and offered me a refund but did not accept the top back. Now I have a swim suit top with no matching bottom. This is unbelievable and unacceptable. I have learned my lesson and will never purchase from this joke of a website again.

I placed my order on 9/23 and it got here on 10/4. My purchase came packaged really nicely, and in GREAT condition. I got my product for 60% retail, and I couldn't be happier. I'm going to shop here again. I admit I was a bit worried with the reviews I read around the net, but 2 weeks was quick enough for me. Love Hautelook, my new guilty pleasure. :)

Terrible customer service. Ordered a jacket and received A blouse. I've sent THREE emails to customer service asking how to return the item with no response to any of them. Inconsistent with delivery charges. Won't be ordering anymore.

I wish I could give them negative stars. I ordered riding boots from them in size 8.5 and instead received heels in size 7 - a completely wrong order. When I called customer service, they just asked to return the item and sent me a $10 credit for all the inconvenience they caused and the goof-up they made. They did not even have the item in their inventory to send me the right shoes. This website sucks and the way they do business sucks too. I wish someone can ban them.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I didn't do my homework on this company before placing my order on a "great deal" beauty product. It's not a deal when you don't receive the product. They took my money, this company never sent me an order confirmation, nor did it show in my order history. When I contacted customer service, I was told that I did not submit an accurate email. That's BS. My email address was correct. I would recommend that everyone that has this problem, dispute the charges with the credit card and/or bank to dispute the charges. I can't believe Nordstrom would have their name tagged with this company.

The worst customer service. I have waited for over a month for a refund for my return and had to contact the company twice. They refuse to send me an email confirmation of my return and just tell me to contact them again within 3-5 business days if the money does not return to my original form of payment. I have gone through this process twice already with the same response. The information on their site is incorrect as well as the information provided and now I have to wait another week to be able to contact them to get my money back, "convenient returns" is an absolute joke.

Buyer Beware! First, it takes a very long time to receive your merchandise from this company - on average two to three weeks. Second, make sure you will not have to return the item Returns are a nightmare. I have been waiting a very long time for my account to be refunded. I had to contact the company twice and I have already been waiting almost two weeks and the rep. Is tellling me it will be another 3 to 5 business days before I receive a credit to my account. My advice, purchase items somewhere else unless you are sure you will not have to exchange or return them. Will not purchase from Hautelook again. Too much hassle.

I shopped for about 20 minutes then realized there was a countdown at the top of my screen which was weird, then i added another item to my cart and the countdown restarted at 15. I realized that if i didnt buy the item in 15 minutes it disappeared from my cart. HOW STUPID. They only give you 15 minutes to buy something? Thats ridiculous. I then decided to read some reviews on the website itself and wow. I dont think you should shop at a website that gets 1 star from all its users. Which surprises me that a nordstrom company would give such bad service. You really cant trust anything on the internet. Guess i will stick to my worthy websites. Thanks reviewers!

This is probably one of the best discount online stores. Their customer service is amazing - I have recieved the wrong items a few times and they return it with no questions. Also, the price for shipping is nowhere near outrageous - some American site charge $22 for shipping to Canada. The products from Hautelook are amazing, the discounts are amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone.

I loved the deals they had till I bought something from them. I bought a bag that looked really cute and it arrived with a broken zipper.
I called them and they asked me to print a label which would refund the money and ship back the item for free but they couldn't refund the shipping cost since i bought another item with the order.
Blah! I'm just annoyed. Why don't they look through their products before sending them out.

Everything I have ordered from there has taken over a month to receive. The last items I ordered took over 5 weeks. By the time they came in, the persons birthday was over so I sent the items back. They stated that they only received 2 of the 3 items which was wrong. I never even took them out of the box. They will only give me a refund for 2 items minus shipping that was half the price of one of the shirts. The website is a big rip off. I have never had these kinds of problems with Rue LaLa. Stay away!

I ordered a pair of Rock and Republic jeans from them a few months ago and when they arrived they didn't have a tag on them. The care label was also hanging by a thread. The jeans itself looked somewhat new so I didn't bother returning them. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of getting charged on returns.

I ordered a $400 picture on 10/14/14 and have yet to receive the picture. I've called haute look over 25 times and have been told everything from the item will be delivered today to you will receive a refund in 3 to 5 business days on numerous occasions. I have been flat out lied to on numerous occasions and have continually been told I will be contacted in the next 24 to 48 hours with a status. By far the worst consumer experience I have had in almost 40 years.

So I ordered two items only difference between them was the color. Orders on April 26th and received one of the items on April 30th. Not bad. But the app is saying both items were delivered, which they weren't. Packing slip only has one item. The worst part was I waited 1 hour and 42 minutes on hold for them to tell me that the second should come in a few days. If you don't receive it call us back. I have been ordering from HauteLook since 2013. This will also be my last time.

When both items were cancelled due to incorrect inventories I cant help but believe that the Internet retailer, or their supplier, is either (1) playing games, or (2) doesnt really have control of their business.
In any event, charging me at time of ordering, holding my funds for three weeks, before advising of a cannot ship position, is completely contrary to the reputation Nordstrom has sought to develop and maintain.
Perhaps you should consider charging at shipment, instead of order for Tumi items only (if theyre at fault) or for all items if its Nordstrom that has inventory management issues.

Ordered from the Black Orchid sale online June 2nd 2015. Made my purchase within 5 min of the start of sale. When my item never shipped they said that there was an inventory shortage (after calling them 5 times asking why my item hadn't shipped) and those that ordered first would get their item. Pretty sure I was in the top list, but whatever. Missed another sale on the same item cause I bought from Hautelook. They offered a $10 credit which is nothing compared to what I would have saved had I bought from the other site. Don't buy anything on here that you really want. Cause you might not get it and they end up holding your money for weeks.

I ordered a purse on 3/9/14 and as of 4/14/14 it still did not have a shipping date. Contacted them 3 times and they weren't able to give me an idea as to when it was going to be shipped. Cancelled my order yesterday. But I was really surprised when I checked their website this morning and the handbag company was having a sale and the purse I had ordered in March was part of the selection.

I've been using Gilt Group and My Habit for quite some time. I stumbled across Haute Look and was intially very excited by their low prices. Now the excitement is replaced by anger, frustration and incredulousness at how lame their site is. First, it takes FOREVER to get your items. Second, when you inquire as to the status they don't respond. Sometimes they even just cancel your order. Thirdly, I just price compared with another site and they're offering the same merchandise for the same price but Haute Look's shipping time and charge are much longer/higher. Ugh. Not worth it. By the time I receive my items I've forgotten they were even coming. Too many other great websites out there for this that don't charge you for shipping, offer great customer service and get your items to you in a timely manner.
