I actually love Hautelook. I mainly buy kids clothes from here, and I think it is awesome that they have a return policy, which is so important with children. You really never know how things are going to fit, especially if you're trying new brands -- as Hautelook often showcases brands you may not know about. Their shipping takes longer than other flash sales sites, but I really don't mind. And I've never waited more than 3 weeks for anything. I have never had a bad experience buying or returning merchandise.

“Issues With Almost Every Order”

Sometimes you can find good deals, but 75% (3 out of 4) of my orders have either arrived with missing items or one a pair of sandals that broke after being worn 5 times. I will say that their customer service has been very good every time. This most recent order was just the last straw because I can't be running to Nordstrom Rack (which is not even in my city) to return stuff all the time.

I LOVED HauteLook (notice the past tense). They were a true arm of Nordstrom both in merchandise and service. But in the past couple months ALL of my orders have been delayed, there is zero way to get in contact with a customer service rep (you can't email them and if you call you have to CONSTANTLY press #2 when prompted or it will hang up. Voicemails were never returned), and I am finished with this company. Whatever the hell they changed, they messed up big time. I know I may have the biased opinion of a loyal Nordstrom customer but this is beyond bad. I won't be shopping there anymore.

I ordered a few things from here and each time seems to get worse. The amount of time it takes for the order to come is just plain annoying. My 2nd order I only received one of the items and they only credited my account $5.21 which was just shipping. The product was over $10. I made the mistake a 3rd time because I saw Urban Decay eyeliner for $4 and couldn't pass it up. Still have yet to receive those and it's been over two weeks and past the date the site states. I won't be purchasing from Hautelook again. Not worth the hype.

"Cheap looking" clothing and shoes/not made well!
Return policy sucks! If you return your items back to Nordstrom Rack they will NOT give you store credit and they will NOT give you cash back. Even if you received the wrong item in the mail, it doesn't matter because they don't give a S---! They will just say: "oh we will talk to the management team about this issue... we are so sorry" blah, blah, blah! DISAPPOINTED!

I placed two orders with this company. I had to return a couple of items from both orders. I never received a refund! $70 worth of clothes they got back but did t refund me for! I emailed several times. I tried to call several times. I submitted a BBB complaint which they never responded to! Radio silent! Aweful, Aweful company!

I admit that it does take Haute look sometime. However, I buy when things are 75% off and have got some real bargains. A while back I bought 5 Fontenay watches sat 91% off; some presents; some not. I get so many compliments. I only had problems with one patent leather bag which smelt funny.

Their customer service is good. They also ship Canada Post which is better than UPS when you live in a condo.

I also order alot from Sierra Trading and Nordstroms who are very fast.

Haute Look has much better selection.

Maybe it is because I'm older but I do not have to have everything YESTERDAY.

I have seen plenty of bad reviews for this site, but I wanted to give it a chance because it did seemed pretty legit. They set a time limit on the items in your shopping cart, shipping is free with SELECT items(small selection), even if you do end up paying for shipping there is a 16 business day wait, returns are a chore or not an option, customer service is a complete joke, no one will give you the same answer, and the customer is always wrong. OTHER THAN THAT they do have some great deals, but to be perfectly honest I just use Hautelook for ideas, then use other sites to find better deals! Hope this helps, and hope you didn't waste your time and money! Best of luck to those that did...

I've been a Nordstrom customer since 1990. Hautelook is horrible at customer service as you nervously look at your "order status", right! I've had over 13 cancelled orders and they could care LESS! I even waited months between orders, and my first order-after a month I saw the RED CANCELLED under the item. Lame! Try GILT, they have excellent customer service and lovely items- goodbye HL!

I ordered a top and boots from this site because the prices were unbelievable. A month later I was still waiting on them to be sent to me. Once I FINALLY received my packages the colors were completely different than the site led on to be. Definitely will NOT be purchasing anything from them again.

I have only purchased from Hautelook twice within the last 2 months. First purchase in march took over a month to arrive and all I ordered was a set of Tarte lipsticks. My second purchase was a set from Whitening Lightening on 4/27 and on the site today it still just says my purchase was ordered. I am soooo mad... NEVER AGAIN.

Very very poor quality items. First 2 dresses I ordered look like they came from a cheap designer knock off store- one was even missing the brand tag so no idea if it was even the brand I ordered. My second order was a jacket that was extrememly nice in the photo- what i was sent had huge clunky rhinestones and studs and big plastic gold buttons- the fabric was cheap and it was poorly made. The 3rd was a handbag that looked like it came of one of the cheap kiosks with designer knock offs you see in malls- horrible. This one they tell me cant be refunded because it was a blowout sale. I'm sending it back anyway and they can decide what to do with it- I would be embarrassed to carry it. (its a Lola Bernard by the way- nice photo- horrible handbag, cheaply made, cheap looking) I'm done with this company.

I've purchased from Hautelook twice as well! The shipping time is loooooong and they charge you a decent amount for it but other than that I've been satisfied with the products. I would suggest researching the brands and products you are eyeing because a lot of times they have desireable brands with they're least desirable products. I avoid those but there are a few jems and it is definitely worth staying updated on.

Their customer service sucks. It took almost a month to get my purchase and when I called (three times) because the site said it was at the warehouse they couldn't tell me why I hadn't received my package. To my surprise I got my package today. When I looked at my account it said the items were still at the warehouse! Ruelala is much better.

I placed an order on November 20,2013. As of today, I still have not received it no received any further communication regarding the order. On December 16th, I spoke with a customer service rep. Who ensured me that my order was being picked and I would have it in a few days. Nothing. I called again today and was told that my order was short-shipped (essentially, there was not enough product to fulfill the orders and I would not be receiving the product). I had to ASK for a credit for the price paid for the item. In addition to the product refund, they half-heartedly offered me a $10 credit to Hautelook for the hassle I had gone through. Please, no need, because I will NEVER shop with you again. STAY AWAY.

I recently bought shoes from Nordstrom Haute and iam very disappointed. I wore the shoes 3x and the straps broke on one of the shoes. The sandals are cute and I got them because my sister had a pair but she ordered hers from DSW. I wish I would have. The shoes definitely weren't worth $ 50 more like 14.99.

I have shopped this site years before the Nordstrom take over. The service and merchandise has dropped severely. I actually receive 1 correct order out of 5. The customer service reps are so sweet that it is annoying because you know they aren't able to do much more than answer the phone. I have yelled screamed and cried dealing with the many errors. It is like dealing with a bunch of 11th graders. They think they know everything... NOT! They won't listen to you but continue to take your mom. This is beyond frustrating. If you live in the LA area and would like to file a class action law suit or other action please contact me Linda at *******@yahoo.com.

They can't overcome some upgrade and can't seem to ship anything in a timely manner, or have the customer service to fix any thing either. Ordered $500 worth of shoes, 10 days ago, and they don't know when they are going to ship, or if they're around anymore. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. Not very Nordstrom at all. What a joke. Zero star rating.

This site is defunct and now it feeds to Nordstrom Rack which is FAB-U-LOUS! NORDSTROM IS THE BEST! MY OLD Review: This is not a scam site, but they are not serious about having the lowest prices. You have to do your homework before you purchase as they dont price match with other online sites like their parent company. Sometimes Nordstrom proper has cheaper prices. I search this site because they do have fantastic items and good prices, but you have to really work the site. Yes, they will over sell and cancel so you have to be prepared for that botched element of the site. Coach does the same thing.

Tip for consumers:
Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack are the best!

Everything. I often do not have to make returns with them.

I wish I can give 0 star! I'm so disappointed in HauteLook, they use Nordstroms quality and credibility to sell crappy product to customer. I'm the same victim as Karen B. I really like "George Nelson" so I order 1 clock that show in the picture that have "George Nelson" name on the face of the clock. And order George Nelson Hang It Wall Coat Rack that show in the HauteLook web with many cute colors. The Clock arrive with no "George Nelson" name on the face of the clock, it is a totally fake one. The coat rack arrive as totally white color! Totally not the one I order. Customer service are not helping much, I have live chat with them and have email them. I will never order with HauteLook again.

In an attempt to save on shipping fees, I thought I could order all of my items from Haute Look and do a price match with Macy's. I followed instructions given by the second rep I talked to (as the first idiot said they don't price match at all) and proceeded to place my order. I called back the next morning and was told to email the screenshot. I proceeded to do that and was given every excuse they could make up on the spot as to why I couldn't be credited the difference. My size wasn't in stock AT THE MOMENT, the sale was no longer on at Macy's, blah blah blah. If I had seen this site first, I would not have placed the order at all. Being a subsidiary of Nordstrom I expected the best! I got the worst.

Biggest scam ever, they are using your money(INVEST) by making you pay for something thats not guaranteed you will ever get it. For example, you like something and you purchase it after a month and half they will cancel your order and say sorry we didn't have enough of it therefore you won't be getting the item. FALSE advertisements!... SCAM, scam, and scam!

The description specifically said, "George Nelson Walnut Atomic Clock." It was inexpensive and a final sale. When the order confirmation came through it said - Control Brand, George Nelson 1820 Walnut Atomic Clock." I didn't realized I'd been duped, until I received the package today - from Amazon! It's a Telechron imitation.
I will not be ordering from this company ever again and am truly dissappionted in Nordstroms and am likely going to stop doing business with them as well.

I ordered two watches thru their watch blowout sale (one for me, one for my fiancee, it will be our matching watch and wedding gift). I got them in the mail yesterday (took only about 10 days) and was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy! They all come in original box WITH the white protective boxes. The watches were gorgeous and had all the protective films still on. I love Hautelook!

Like many others, I received an email today stating that I could no longer order from Haute Look/Nordstrom Rack because of returns.

Actually, I hadn't ordered anything from them since Dec 2017 and at that time I returned a pair of jeans because I had ordered a size 28 and they sent me a size 26.

Feel disappointed.

I ordered from hautelook.com on Oct. 14 and still haven't received my order (its 11/2 now) This website is beyond misleading. Upon checkout, it states your order will ship in 10-14 business days and items are returnable. HERE'S THE FRIGGIN' CATCH. The 10-14 days is how long it takes for the retailer to ship to hautelook and then your item can arrive anytime after that. THEN an item is returnable only for store credit! I talked to CS rep and the lady stated "we hope that people will read the FAQ's to know that we only give out store credit." Seriously?! I needed the item for an outing and called to cancel it because it was approaching 14 days and its still in friggn transit... Who takes that long to ship!?!?!? Needless to say, I've very displeased and WILL NOT be shopping from this site again because i don't like to feel like i've been "scammed" when making a $100 purchase.

So for Hautelook, they have authentic merchandise. They have two types of sales, the ones they already have merchandises in warehouse; the other ones, they don't. So if you bought from the event they already have merchandises in their own warehouse, it will be shipped within 2 days. They have UPS 2 days shipping so you will get what you ordered within a week.
But if it is the event they coordinate with other warehouses (it will say before you order), it will take more than 2 weeks for you to get what you ordered.
So before you order, you should evaluate if you can wait that long for the item. Actually, if it says 2 weeks-3 weeks, give it at least a month. (Its better to be surprised than disappointed.)
If you can wait a month for that item, the order it, there won't be any surprises, if not... Ummmm maybe find it at some other site would be a better choice.
