Is anyone else getting rapid back to back calls from healthcare market place I have enrolled and I'm good even though I have stressed this,I'm still getting calls all day that start as soon at 8am and go on until 8 830 at night non stop. There have been multiple calls where the person on the other end is rude to. How do you make this stop? I have put my number on the national do not call list one man told me yesterday he sees my number as do not call but he's calling anyway. It is beyond harassment the only thing I can think to do is record them moving forward and the amount of times they call 😢 You can say don't answer your phone but I have to answer my phone cause I've dialed out calling clients and want to make sure I answer when they call but it's usually back to back the market place I've had at least 20 calls from them today that started at 8am each person says they are gonna put me on the do not call and soon as they hang up someone else calls right behind them. This needs to stop im so sick of it I'm thinking of cancelling my insurance through them if the calls don't stop.
I have tried twice to use heath care.gov marketplace to shop for insurance. Each time I put in my phone number and email and it's almost instantly I start to receive scam emails where they actually trying to steal my bank account info and such and constant robo calls. I thought maybe it was from something else till I tried it again this year and same thing happens… please guys save your self the trouble and go else where. This should be illegal and against the law, especially being a government website…
No pros: It covers doctor visits possibly. My grandson needs a heart specialist and none will cover him.
Cons: I got insurance in the past and everything was supposed to be covered. Then I got a huge bill in the mail.
The website automatically logs me out every time i look at health plans. If I log back in, it takes me to a different page. Trying to change my health plan was infuriating. The directions in the website's help center say to go to "my plans and programs" and then click on the "change plan" button on the left, but no such button exists.
I saw their ad on YouTube and thought what the hey maybe it's worth a shot.
I've only gone through the application process ( well, part of it anyway...) I got told my identity could not be verified. I was given a telephone number to call and some long string of code.
I called the number and was told wait time was greater than 20 minutes. Hung up and decided it wasn't worth my time.
Then I looked them up to see what other people had to say and looks like my suspicions were confirmed. Looks like health care that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and doesn't require a ton of hoops to jump through...If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Now I just hope I don't get deluged with spam calls...
First you just gave up your phone # to an incessant group of leaches with zero respect. Over 100 phone calls in less than an hour. Crappy people to deal with. I got health insurance on my own and someone from within market place pretended to be me and canceled my policy. No one cares that they harass u and illegals use your information. Worst dealings ever!
I was told the plan would cost $12.40/m, we agreed and were issued an insurance card and paid the first month. One month later we were billed $740/m and issued a new card saying our deductible was $6000 versus "0 deductible". I called MarketPlace to get help, and I believe I was very cordial...After explaining the problem, Michael, the level 2 representative was extremely rude and unhelpful... So, of course, I wasn't happy but not rude...he then hung up on me! EDIT 01/22/2024--We had to cancel the insurance, we couldn't get anybody on the phone to help us. We couldn't afford to have $740 taken out of the checking account.
When transferred over the agent asked me what language after asking my name assuming I didn't speak English I'm clearly speaking to him in English. After asking my question he said hold up I'm finna tell you right now.
I was trying to pay my premium was getting no where with Ambetter my insurance through marketplace, I ask for a supervisor which was Janae Taylor, she went step by step, was very understanding and compassionate about my problem. My husband has cardiac issues and we're in the middle of procedures so I was in a
Panic to get this straightened out. She was AWESOME! Kudos to Janae!' For outstanding job well done!
I've been to porn sites that are more intelligent and streamlined than this nightmare. Tried to enroll 3 times, each time it asked me the same information that I had already just given, and then about midway through it just says the server is down. All I wanted to know was what plans covered what and whether I qualified. The working poor and middle class people I have talked to tell me the prices are outrageous anyway and barely cover anything. I guess I'm just going to have to pay out of pocket up front for my primary and if a catastrophic event happens I'm screwed.
Just don't! I called to cancel, first I was on the phone for an hour. When I told them I wanted to cancel my membership they tried to talk me into staying. When I said no they continued to tell me I should wait. When I told them no again and I want to cancel, she finally gave in. Then they asked a whole bunch of questions about the new insurance I was on. I asked them why they needed that info And she told me that they had to put the info in to cancel. I have never had to this before it was very
Frustrating, Not to mention they put me on hold about 4 times. I finally got them to cancel after
Some time saying no and telling I dont need the insurance any more. I am super chill person, but this was the worst experience with a carrier ever. Not mention the person that signs you up, you never hear from again to help out they just give a customer service number, that hard to get ahold of. I felt like this was a scam and after reading other reviews i am glad I canceled.
All i wanted to do was file the claim about not being able to afford health insurance last year for tax purposes. This $#*!ing government website sells my phone number to god knows how many health insurance carriers that
Wish I could give them a -*******! I am so sick of getting hung up on and treated like literal trash from this company! They are suspicious as hell and lie about information! I have been on a plan since with Florida Blue that was helping me receive coverage until I added my pregnant daughter to my existing plan. I was told if any changes are made in the household I would have to call to update. Instead of adding her to my existing plan, they didn't add her, they just changed my whole plan completely without my knowledge. We are now drowning in bills because we thought we were being covered by the plan I was told but instead are paying a premium a month for a high deductible plan that we are never going to reach! I have spent countless hours on the phone with them to help get this resolved and all I get in attitudes, getting transferred and getting hung up on. I am so frustrated and fed up I don't even know what to do anymore!
My first year on MHS Ambetter and trying to do my 2023 taxes, I found out that I need to have a 1095a form, which I never received via mail or email.
I can't even get on the Ambetter MHS website to print the form, because it sends me to the healthcare.gov website.
When I do there, it only allows my to renew my 2024 application, can't look at my current application without an ID code, which I have no clue what that is. Can't even go to a "menu" to look for my 2023 forms.
Now I'm on the phone with healthcare.gov, waiting to speak with someone.
Go figure that the US government has to be this flipping difficult. I unfortunately retired early and needed to obtain insurance. What a huge JOKE!
I hate this marketplace, Obamacare crap!
... in that case, you get a good deal. For everyone else who makes enough to not be considered poor, but who doesn't get health insurance through their job (ie myself, I work as a nanny and make decent money) then you're screwed. Get this socialist CRAP out of our country already, I'm tired of having to pay for other people's healthcare just because I'm successful in life! All for insanely overpriced plans with bad coverage. For 1 person they charge $600/month premium for their one and only halfway decent plan! Healthcare.gov actually rewards you for making less money, and punishes you if you make more.
We're trying to get a tax form, and have gone thru 5 sets of customer service representatives who have been extremely difficult to get answers from. The only one that was actually helpful was Zach Olsen. The others were rude and indifferent. Since April, now July, still hasn't been resolved. The customer services are very restricted as to what they can or can't do. It's very hard to get help, let alone the insurance plans are another story. We've had so many difficulties with these plans, I would not recommend anyone signing up!
Terrible terrible site. Just like anything paid with taxpayers money, is poorly designed and executed. Frequent problems logging in, redundant and confusing at times, bandwidth issues causing crashes and so much more. Highly paid government contractors putting together a piece of garbage that is supposed to be used for less than two months and actually work for those 2 months.
Since I have to give it a star I gave it one, but really it's ZERO stars. It is completely ridiculous! What took me a 15-minute call when my firstborn was needed to be added to our insurance before the marketplace has now taken 4 months, 3 "application" processes, 30 pieces of physical paper, over 15 phone calls, and a whole lot of frustration, and guess what they still haven't taken care of it. I would love to be able to call up an insurance provider and just buy actual coverage but I can't it has to go through the Marketplace. At this point paying out of pocket for medical expenses is cheaper than going through this crap.
Mike Young is a Healthcare.gov Supervisor (*******596) who did absolutely nothing to help my parents find out what needed to be done to keep their coverage. He hung up on me for being condescending when I asked for someone who knew more than him and could actually help.
Mike Young is a perfect example of tax payer money wasted. I get better customer service from a McDonald's driver-thru employee.
This is the government's attempt at a one-stop healthcare destination. It includes highly readable information about over 5,000 plans, public and private, and covers other issues, like prevention and facility comparisons. There's a section on free and low-cost care. The site is probably the best source to learn about the changes (current and future) resulting from the Affordable Care Act, the health care reform law fostered by Pres. Obama.
Answer: Same happened to me. So agent at marketplace switched me from PPO to HMO without telling me and completely mislead me last December promising me that this new plan was the one I needed. As it happens, it is the worst plan from Florida Blue. These so called "agents" at the marketplace have no idea what is going on, many can care less, they know that we, the consumers, are powerless to do anything. They apparently are not allowed to give their employee ID number and names do not suffice to place a formal complaint against any of them. Health Marketplace went from being a dream come true to the worst nightmare. I hope you finally solved your issue
Answer: Oh YES. And I have tried to dispute the claims my insurance is rejecting. The MP agent whom I got in December in order to renew my plan completely mislead me and the plan I have on is the worst plan Florida Blue is offering. According to Florida blue agents, they have no control over what the Marketplace decides and claim that the Marketplace refuses to communicate with them. I suspect that Florida Blue is also taking advantage of the situation. I pay twice as much as before and my copays are 3 times what they used to be. And my network is quite restraint now. Many of the specialists I used to see are no longer in my network. I am kind of relieved to see how many people are unhappy with HMO. I started to wonder if it was me who in fact was wrong and who misunderstood or…
Answer: BECAUSE THEY ARE UNEDUCATED IGNORANT PEOPLE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HIRED. TRUMP NEEDS TO FIRE ALL THEM AND SHUT THIS DOWN. THEY HAVE YET AGAIN SCREWED UP MY PLAN AND MY DAUGHTERS 15 CALLS LATER AND I RENEWED IN NOVEMBER... THEY DELETED ME AND PUT MY DAUGHTER... JERKS THEN GAVE HER A MESSED UP PLAN
