I don't gamble and I never take bets, however if there is one thing I'm willing to put my mouth and money on - it's me. May 2018 I made the choice of signing up to HealthyWage - best decision EVER! My goal was to lose 50 pounds in 6 months. In HealthyWage you have online coaches, a community of other competitors, and a support board where you go through diets, social meet ups (if in your area) or tips in your journey. I've made some good friends and even learned some new things about my diet and body. I lost 52 pounds and cashed out in total $2,357.68 (including mini challenges). If you ever question this betting site. Let me be your proof. It isn't a scam and you do get paid. (*******@mangojuicexxo)
I can't be more happy with this company that lets you challenge yourself and pays you if/when you meet your weight loss goals. No better way to stay motivated. It's pretty straight forward and they have an easy process to send the weigh ins. I recommend them very much
So I joined to this joke of healthy wage. First of all, if you made the mistake to join, you better be prepare to loose the weight or the money cause there is not cancellation to it. Second, if you also made the mistake to joint to the challenge you would not make much. This challenges are base on a pot, which means you share the price among the winners, not without the HealthyWage company taking their share first. Said that, I entered into a pot where the entry money was $100. I won and I ended making 12 dollar approximately. Then there was another pot challenge where a made 8 dollars and you gotta take PayPal fees a as well so less that 8 dollars. Seriously?. Such as scam, and shame of Jillian Michaels on supporting this scammers. Of course you will loose the weight because you won't like to loose the money. But is this really a healthy formation of habits? I don't think so.
App has been super helpful so far. Have lost 20 pounds already. I recommend creating your own paper version and posting it somewhere you can see it every day. Weight loss requires a lot of gradual changes to habits which takes time and it can take a while. Weight loss may be slower in the beginning while habits are being modified and then will pick up steam. The progress tracker assumes that weight loss happens at a steady pace through time and so the 'progress score' can be discouraging. Progress score may show that you are behind schedule while you in reality have plenty of time to get the weight off. Use your personal judgement to decide if you can pull it off in the time you have left. Dont let a low progress score derail you!
Hi Lucia and congratulations on your success so far in your HealthyWager challenge! While our progress tracker is there to help you stay on track to hitting your personal weight loss goal (and winning that huge cash prize!), it is merely a guide that we hope participants utilize as a resource. As you mentioned, weight loss is different for everyone and we're currently in the process of updating our tracker to include more information and options. We appreciate your feedback and will take your input into consideration for future enhancements. If you have any specific suggestions or further feedback to share, please reach out to us at product@healthywage.com. Also, if you haven't updated to the latest version of the app, please update it now to get the most current features.
I joined to lose 50 pounds in 6 months as I remember. I had already lost 30 pounds bfr finding this. I was not on track come to the last months. But that doesn't matter much. The fact that they couldn't process 1 payment they eliminated me from the program. That was my issue. No matter what I would have won the competition. But they just eliminated me without my attempt to contact me.
Hi Alexis, if you have not done so already, please contact our customer support team at info@healthywage.com to discuss your challenge. When a participant's payment doesn't process successfully, several email notifications are sent, alerting of the missed payment. Once the account is back up to date, the challenge is immediately reactivated. We definitely want to ensure you're able to finish your challenge as planned, so please reach out to our awesome support team who will be happy to help!
The way this company works is you first make your big HealthyWager challenge. This is the goal you create by agreeing to losing a certain amount of weight in a certain time frame. This is the challenge you pay monthly installments on and end up getting a nice payoff from if you complete it.
I originally left a 2/5 review. This was due to the mini challenges, which are (team or individual) challenges that you can enter along the way in addition to your big HealthyWage challenge. The reason they didn't work is because the majority of the time, everyone in the challenge would hit their goal and so there would be no payoff. In this case, you just get the money back that you put into it. That's fine and dandy except Most of them didn't pay off and the ones that did were maybe $1-4. So essentially you gave them money, didn't earn even interest on it, and they send it back to you months later. The crazy part though, is to get your money back you have to pay $7 for them to send you a check or you can pay $2+3% for a PayPal deposit. Either way, if enough people win the mini challenge, then you don't even get back the full money that you put in.
They waive the $7 check fee once every 6 months (As long as the check is below like $850), so if you partake in only one mini challenge, you could get your buy-in returned to you for no cost. But I joined and won 10 mini challenges, meaning they would waive the check fee for the first one but anything after that I'd have to pay for. I stand by my original review that this policy is totally lousy.
The reason for the revised review however, is due to the fact that I won my BIG healthy wager challenge. So at the end of the day, they did what they were supposed to do. They created a way to motivate me to to lose 40 pounds, plus I made a great return on my installments. I paid $180/month for 6months. I am now getting my winning check for $2200. That's a good enough feeling (plus being skinny) for me to give them a solid 4/5 stars.
Takeaway: Go big or go home. Don't bother with the mini challenges. If you think you can make a big goal and stick with it, then you'll get a big payoff.
Hi Madison and congratulations on winning your Jackpot challenge! Yes, our Jackpot challenges have smaller payouts then our individual HealthyWager challenge (and the jackpot has a 25% admin fee — the same as our competitors — which the HealthyWager DOES NOT). If you want a bigger prize and no admin fee, I suggest you try the HealthyWager, which pays up to $10,000. The only catch is that the HealthyWager requires that you set a goal of at least 10% of your body weight. Regarding the $7 check fee: if your payout is lower than $75, you are not charged the $7 check fee (this stated when you go to cash out your winnings). You can also choose Paypal and avoid the check fee. Regarding your tax question, we will send you a 1099 if your total winnings are $600 or greater (minus wager) in a year.
Bottom line: if you have at least 10% of your body weight to lose and looking for a higher payout with no admin fee, we highly recommend our HealthyWager challenge. It’s an individual weight loss challenge where you select your weight loss goal, how long you want to lose it in, and cash prize (up to $10,000). HealthyWage is awesome! From beginning to end, the whole process of placing your bet, weighing in and getting paid out is very simple! If you have any desire to lose weight and are lacking the motivation... HealthyWage is the ultimate motivator. Who else is going to pay you to lose weight?!
They even offer smaller challenges along the way to make extra money and to keep you on target!
I won $2,421 by losing 50 pounds in 8 months. I was skeptical at first, as I'm sure many people are, it's just too go to be true right?! I submitted my final weigh in and within a week I had a check in my mailbox! Don't hesitate... stop making excuses, lose the weight and make some money!
£600 and 6 months of consistent and steady weight loss to achieve my final goal after, I saw NO MONEY BACK from this company. Do not trust with your hard earned money. My weight goal was achieved, all necessary proof of that was sent to them and they still refused to send me my money back for my win. Utterly fraudulent and unethical business practice. Although it may sound like a great way to lose weight, if you happen to get your money back, it's probably more because of luck than actual results, so be aware of that before signing up for this fraudulent company. I am frankly disgusted by the way they run this business. After I tried to make the other members of their community aware of my experience, they blocked my account and deleted my post. WITHOUT returning my money back of course. Very transparent business practice as you can see. DO NOT TRUST. The money you see in the picture has never been returned to me, even after achieving my weight goal.
Our team flagged this account for suspicious activity. When we asked to arrange a confirmation weigh-out, the participant refused to cooperate. Getting paid is easy (we’ve paid out more than $10M this year alone), but your weight loss has to be honest! We do not take cheating lightly.
This is such a wonderful app/site. I have done 4 challenges in the last 6 months, 3 small ones and 1 BIG one. I lost 40lbs in 6 months and won $1538. 00 (I invested $600)and if I had of had more faith in myself I would have submitted a much higher wager.
This is a great way to communicate with others who have the same goal as you and to help keep you focused on the prize.
So it's like getting 3 for 1! You get your investment back, you lose weight, and you get more money on top of what you invested.
It's a WIN WIN, no matter how you look at it.
Good luck and come on and join me because I've just started another challenge

I bet $600 that I would lose 50 lbs in 8 months. When I did it, they sent me a check for $2165. That is a $1565 return on my initial investment. Where else can you make that kind of money, lose weight and create healthy habits? Nowhere!
Answer: Hi, Dana! With our individual HealthyWager challenge, your cash prize is your total investment PLUS a profit up to 300% (you will ALWAYS get a profit and not just your money back). Your profit is based on a number of factors such as your challenge details (weight loss goal, challenge length, monthly bet) along with your current height and weight. Answer: Hi Eric, That timing is absolutely correct, assuming the Winner Confirmation form has been completed. I see that our support team told you on January 11th that you had not yet filled out that form in order for our review to be finalized. The timeline noted above applies as soon as you complete that. Thanks, Kate@ HealthyWage
Answer: Hi, Michele. Yes, you can participate in another HealthyWager (our individual weight loss challenge completely customized to you with a huge cash prize up to $10,00!), after you complete your first! In fact, many participants like to break up their weight loss goal into a few HealthyWager challenges and have found it effective and motivating for both weight loss and maintaining it. Do know that if you win a HealthyWager and start a new one, your starting weight will be your winning weight from your last HealthyWager win. Answer: Hi, Dee and that's a great question! While we give you the flexibility to choose how you want to lose the weight, we do provide support through our Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/healthywageofficial), email and our participant dashboard that gives challengers access to our HealthyWage Coach. Our email support includes healthy tips and guidance for nutrition and exercise while our participant dashboard allows you to chat with fellow challengers and share tips, support, and encouragement!
Answer: Hi, Maria. The earliest you can weigh-out for the challenge is 2 weeks prior to your end date, even if you have met your goal early. If you meet your goal early, you'll just need to maintain or continue losing (as appropriate) until that weigh-out window opens. We want to encourage weight loss and weight management over time. Our goal is to help you get the weight off and keep it off, develop new habits, and a new lifestyle over the course of your challenge.

Answer: HealthyWage is not a scam. We've been around since 2009, have provided corporate weight loss challenges for some of the world's biggest companies (Johnson & Johnson, CVS, GE, etc.), and have paid out over $13M to winners (who lost over 785,000 pounds!) in 2019 alone. In addition, the BBB gives HealthyWage an A rating. You may want to check out some of our reviews here - https://www.healthywage.com/healthywage-review/ or our press coverage (including coverage on CNN, the Today Show, Good Morning America, etc.) here - https://www.healthywage.com/press/

HealthyWage has a rating of 4.1 stars from 135 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with HealthyWage most frequently mention weight loss, extra motivation and time frame. HealthyWage ranks 7th among Weight Loss sites.
Hi, Jenn and congratulations on your weight loss success so far with winning two of our Fast Track challenges, including a 15% profit! Unlike our individual HealthyWager weight loss challenge where the prize (up to $10,000!) is all for you, our Jackpot and Fast Track challenge prizes are equally split amongst successful participants in each challenge, so the profit amount varies for each challenge depending on the number of winners. Our "no-lose guarantee" ensures that if you achieve the goal, you'll always win back at least your registration fee. Regarding the PayPal fee, we do disclose that there may be a potential fee processed from PayPal, but do not have control over the amounts charged. You are welcome to request a check for a flat $7 fee for any winnings, apply them towards current installments, or join new challenges to increase your profit further while you work to reach your personal goals. If you have any questions or concerns, we encourage you to reach out to our support team at info@healthywage.com and they'll be happy to help you!
