I love this company! It's 100% legit, and it's changing lives every day!
Making this commitment was one of the smartest things I've ever done for myself. I'm now a HealthyWage ambassador due to my success with the program, and I hope to answer any questions you might have about how this works.
Here's the breakdown- You would start by playing with the bet calculator and adjust your bet/weight loss amount/time frame until it's what you want. Minimum time frame is 6 months, max is 18mo. More risk=more reward, but you don't want to "over bet" and not be able to reach your goal, because then you would lose all your money. Then you sign up to make automatic monthly payments, do a verified weigh-in, and your challenge starts. You can sign up for additional challenges too, that make money on the same weight loss. (Team or individual challenges, you choose). I just won my main healthywage challenge, and also joined 23 additional challenges, all of which pay out separate from the main bet. You do a "verified weigh in" at the beginning and end of each challenge, which basically means you weigh in on video through their app, or you can do it at a doctors office or weight watchers meeting. I find doing it through the app by myself is pretty easy and convenient. I do it by myself in my bathroom in front of a big mirror.
The payments you make to Healthywage are monthly automatic payments. The minimum wager is $100.(spread out over the course of your bet, not monthly) They DO NOT do refunds, so make sure you're absolutely ready when/if you sign up. If you don't meet the weight loss goal, you will lose your money.
I think I've covered the basics, but if you have any other questions, feel free to send me a PM! I'll put my link below if you want to check out the prize calculator. (That's free, no obligation) If you sign up through that link, a bonus $40 will be added to your payout!
My bet had me more focused and committed than I've ever been, because I'm super competitive and didn't want to lose all the $ I put into it. I lost 100 pounds, won my bet, and I feel better than I have in years.
Challenge yourself. You are worth it, and you CAN do it.

Enjoyed the process! Love the app. Great customer service. Prompt payment! Will try another challenge soon!
They really do pay you! I signed up and lost 60lbs! It was a great motivational tool and I got paid $584.00!
Early last year I found myself looking for some motivation to stick to a diet and weight loss plan. I was already two months into the year and I needed a kick in the butt. I found this site after a google search. I admit I was skeptical because it sounded easy, almost too good to be true. I also wondered how any site can afford to pay out more than the bet but I work in a field were I project odds so I figured it was probably real because so many people fail (like I had before) the site can afford to pay those who meet their goals. I wanted to lose 75 pounds and decided to give myself 10 months to do it. Total bet $400. Potential pay out over $1400. Off I went. Since there was no way I was going to lose my bet I started with great focus and was doing well the first three weeks or so. That's when I joined my first team challenge which catapulted my weight loss. In the last ten months I have joined my personal healthy wager, two team challenges and more individual challenges than I can count. My total Investment? About $700. My total winnings? Over $4K. Time to take the family on a cruise.
This site does everything it says it will. The individual and team challenges have the most potential for winning dollars. But even the individual challenges are better than interest on your money in a bank. Plus, each challenge group introduces you to real people who are doing the same thing you're doing (steps, 6% loss, team loss or individual healthy wager). This gives you a group of people to vent to, to ask questions, etc. Its great support. Collecting your winnings is easy, verified weigh ins are easy. Its never taken more than a few days to collect my money via Paypal.
Set a goal and stick with it. Be realistic about how much time it will take you and don't lose focus. In the end you will win exactly what the site says you can win. Where else can you spend $75 for a real chance at $2K? Maybe Vegas. But then there is that buffet. Oh dear.
Everything about this site and company is real. Customer service responses are fast via email. Payouts are exactly what they say they should be and are quick. Bet on yourself! You wont be sorry.
I absolutely have no regrets about using this platform to help me lose over40lbs! My stating weight us 185lbs ending weight is 144lbs. I bet u would lose 40lbs in 18 months using $30 payments. So technically after the money I paid I only won around $800 but still free money, the confidence earned with the weight loss, and health benefits really make the money not the top priority. I did use a calorie deficit model and my fit bit to actually help me lose the weight but healthy wage kept me accountable. I'm so grateful for there service. It has truely changed my life. I lost my 40lbs in 1 year and my bet was for 18months so I had to maintain my 40lb weight loss for 6 months to win. Which I have done and I have been paid my winnings. I chose to be paid through PayPal which did put a hold on my funds but that was paypals doing so I don't blame healthy wage for this. There is a paper check option for people who don't want tk deal with PayPal. This service us great for people serious about weight loss. They don't hold ue hand the whole time so you need to be self motivated as well. This is a great platform for weight loss and I highly recommend it. I'm now at a healthy weight and I feel so much better!
Thank you, Brittany for sharing about your experience, and congrats on your amazing weight loss and challenge success!
When I found out I have a medical issue and then I had a gym closure, I tried to reason with this company. I asked for them to simply cancel my challenge. I told them I was upset that I had to ask for this especially in light of all that is occurring in the world but I hoped that because of my issue, they would help me out. I stated to them that I would sign up for a new challenge once life is back in the swing. First, they responded without even reading my first email. My second email went unanswered. My third email when I was now upset and said I no longer wanted to work with a company such as this that claim they are a "healthy" wage site but their CSRs know nothing about the science behind medical conditions and weight loss and fluff you off like you are not to be considered. They again said they would push my challenge back. I reported to the BBB. All I get is that they CLAIM they have worked extensively with me (no) and that they have an offer on the table (not one that I accept, obviously, because I am now moving toward mediation) and that's all they say to the BBB. And, had they at least RESPONDED to my personal concern about my personal situation, I would consider and offer but even after reporting to BBB NEVER ONCE A SORRY for misunderstanding, or taking my situation lightly. NOTHING. Just that they are great and they have worked extensively with me to help me. Lies.
Hi El,
The reason we do not allow cancelations is because it’s a crucial aspect of the service we provide with helping you stay accountable and committed to achieving your goal, which would diminish the point of the program if you could simply quit. We’ve had many participants tell us they’re happy HealthyWage isn’t automatically postponing nor canceling their challenges because they’re looking forward to achieving their weight loss goal and winning their cash prize. For participants who need to make a change with their challenge, our support team does respond to every email and works diligently in addressing and helping each participant who reaches out to us. We see that you’ve been in contact with our support team and that both your tickets were reviewed and replied to, which included several options regarding your challenge. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact our support team at info@healthywage.com.
I lost 65lbs with Healthy Wage and won $1476! It was just the motivation I needed to keep going through the plateaus and struggles along the way.
I was super skeptical when starting with HealthyWage but I won $2,500 and lost 50lbs my first time around. I still had weight to lose so I entered a second (technically 3rd) bet, which just came to a close. I was notified I won and was eagerly awaiting payment. With COVID and lack of work I was really relying on that pay out to make it through this holiday season. Not to mention I busted my $#*! to better myself and win that money. I earned it fair and square.
They notified me in a very vague email that my bet had been cancelled. I emailed back and forth a couple of times and it turns out that because of the "yoyo rule" they would not be paying me out but would "do me a favor" and refund my initial investment. 2 problems with this: First, I had over a year and a failed bet in between this bet so in theory, there was no yoyo-ing. But for arguments sake, I was unaware of this rule and it was the responsibility of whomever verified my weight in at the beginning of the bet to catch this, not me. According to their rules you can still compete but your starting weight should be altered to your ending weight from the last bet. No one did this so I was not given the opportunity to possibly still win my bet. I had no idea there was an issue until the bet was over. I should not be held responsible or penalized for one of their employees messing up.
Not only was I not paid out but only 3 of my 9 payments were refunded to me and now they have stopped responding to my emails so not only have they scammed me but have essentially stolen money from me. And based on the reviews I've read they always seem to find a loophole to not allow you to win twice.
Hi JY,
Thanks for your comments. I understand that you won and were paid $2,445 with your first HealthyWager in 2019 and now the misunderstanding is with a subsequent HealthyWager made in 2020. Your starting weight for the 2020 challenge was above your previous winning weight in 2019, which is not permitted. Our one and only rule for subsequent HealthyWagers is you cannot get paid to lose the same weight twice. (But note we are looking for ways to offer prizes to winners who gain back some of their weight and want to do a subsequent challenge.)
Since you were not eligible, we refunded your wager (all 9 installments) in full on November 24,2020 to the two separate credits cards used to make payments. Please check both credit card statements to confirm these refunds. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your refund, please contact us at info@healthywage.com and we will be able to assist you.
Answer: Hi, Dana! With our individual HealthyWager challenge, your cash prize is your total investment PLUS a profit up to 300% (you will ALWAYS get a profit and not just your money back). Your profit is based on a number of factors such as your challenge details (weight loss goal, challenge length, monthly bet) along with your current height and weight. Check it out and play with the free prize calculator at www.healthywage.com/healthywager
Answer: Hi Eric, That timing is absolutely correct, assuming the Winner Confirmation form has been completed. I see that our support team told you on January 11th that you had not yet filled out that form in order for our review to be finalized. The timeline noted above applies as soon as you complete that. Thanks, Kate@ HealthyWage
Answer: Hi, Michele. Yes, you can participate in another HealthyWager (our individual weight loss challenge completely customized to you with a huge cash prize up to $10,00!), after you complete your first! In fact, many participants like to break up their weight loss goal into a few HealthyWager challenges and have found it effective and motivating for both weight loss and maintaining it. Do know that if you win a HealthyWager and start a new one, your starting weight will be your winning weight from your last HealthyWager win. For more information, visit our "Yo-Yo Rules" at https://www.healthywage.com/faq/yo-yo-rule-faqs or contact our participant support at info@healthywage.com.
Answer: Hi, Dee and that's a great question! While we give you the flexibility to choose how you want to lose the weight, we do provide support through our Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/healthywageofficial), email and our participant dashboard that gives challengers access to our HealthyWage Coach. Our email support includes healthy tips and guidance for nutrition and exercise while our participant dashboard allows you to chat with fellow challengers and share tips, support, and encouragement!
Answer: Hi, Maria. The earliest you can weigh-out for the challenge is 2 weeks prior to your end date, even if you have met your goal early. If you meet your goal early, you'll just need to maintain or continue losing (as appropriate) until that weigh-out window opens. We want to encourage weight loss and weight management over time. Our goal is to help you get the weight off and keep it off, develop new habits, and a new lifestyle over the course of your challenge.

Answer: HealthyWage is not a scam. We've been around since 2009, have provided corporate weight loss challenges for some of the world's biggest companies (Johnson & Johnson, CVS, GE, etc.), and have paid out over $13M to winners (who lost over 785,000 pounds!) in 2019 alone. In addition, the BBB gives HealthyWage an A rating. You may want to check out some of our reviews here - https://www.healthywage.com/healthywage-review/ or our press coverage (including coverage on CNN, the Today Show, Good Morning America, etc.) here - https://www.healthywage.com/press/
