This company does not typically respond to reviews
Our technician saved the day as the first tech scheduled was not available. Nizar came on time, was very professional, communicative and worked hard and fast. He listened an carried out our wishes to hang the tv on our wall. He went above and beyond helping move furniture back in place. Can't say enough good things about Nizar!
Don't provide invoices. Customer service useless, both chat and on phone. I have sent three requests for an invoice to be emailed to me. Tech was here over a week ago and still no invoice.
So I guess I should have listened to the reviews right off the bat. I scheduled a time for them to come out and hang up my tv. I told them that they will need two people to lift the television. So he shows up one person. He said I needed a different wall bracket. So I rescheduled for the next day waited and waited never showed up never called. Then he wanted to reschedule it again I just laughed and said nope just give me my money back.
The tech may be good but the company is not. Do not make the same mistake I made. After numerous calls, I still do not have a credit posted to my credit card. No, No, No. The reviews on the web site are all dated the same exact day. I am not convinced that these are real reviews. Take my advice. Move on to another Tech service. Don't do it!
Tip for consumers:
I do not recommend Hello Tech to anyone. A fool and his money are soon parted!

Tech Service No shipping involved. I am out $160.00 which is on my credit card bill and I got NO SERVICE. Tech came and said he could not perform the service requested. Should I pay full price for that service call. I think NOT. SPENT NO MORE THAN 5 MINUTES AT MY HOME. hELLO Tech should have given me a substantial credit.
Terrible. You make an appointment but the there is not actually an appointment. They send out a request to their technicians which may/may not be available for the time/date requested and they will not let you know if someone is not available. Warning! Waste of time, you will be waiting around for them.
Benjamin was awesome, very pleasant, he guided me through the whole process. Benjamin was very patient, and I would use him again and again. I will definitely recommend him to all my family and friends.
I requested someone to mount a flat screen TV on my wall.
I initially was linked with a tech in my area, but after several hours, was emailed saying the tech was no longer available. Their advice was just to choose a greater number of availability. I phoned them and they said I was in a limited availability area and they would get back to me. Again said choose more dates and times for availablity. After 24 hours I have received NO UPDATE! Please do yourself a favor and find your own resource to do the work. You will probably get a faster response and pay less $$.
Tip for consumers:
Look somewhere else and make sure they have reps in your area before you plunk down your money.

Phone rep swore that there would be techs available in Grand Junction, CO. I asked very specifically, several times. So I signed up. Fast forward three weeks, no techs available available in Grand Junction and my mom's Christmas gift remains uninstalled. Boo. Liars.
I needed my computer tuned up and my internal camera wasn't working. My tech was able to log in remotely and get everything fixed up in about 30 minutes. I work a crazy schedule, so having this option so late at night is a lifesaver!
My new canon was working fine and just needed to fax forward incoming faxes so I could work remotely. Now, my new canon doesn't receive any faxes-this is tech 1 who came 2 1/2 hours late, then, tech 2 (3 hours late) did something to the telephone line and pulled it free of the Verizon box in the basement so now I don't have a fax line at all. Tech 3 came 5 hrs late and immediately started pulling on the new fax line that I ran from another office so hello tech could fix the fax that tech 1 broke. A simple thing and now I have to hire the geek squad to fix the fax and verizon to fix the telephone line. Great. AND I had to come home 1 1/2 week early to get this fixed because all my employees fax their timeslips to get paid. It still is a mess 4 weeks later..
It was an easy process to purchase and book a service to have a professional come over to complete the task that I needed done. The professional was very helpful and friendly, I would definitely recommend and hire again since the task was completed within a good time frame.
I signed up for 1 year. I used the service 2-3 times. After a year, I saw that I was charged the following month. I tried to cancel and was told I can't. They auto renew for A YEAR! Very shady. If I wanted another year, I would purchase it. I should not be forced because they hid it in fine print.
Saw the Hellotech ad online when I was looking for someone to install my 75" TV above the fireplace in a new house we just moved into in Puyallup, WA. They had a very good price. But, I wanted to know if they could come out on the dates I listed BEFORE paying. It seems they want you to "BOOK" and pay first. I'm not about to do that.
I'm deaf, so I couldn't just call, so I clicked the "chat" line and got what I think was a auto reply saying they weren't available and to call them or give them my email address and they'd get back to me shortly. Twice I went through this process and no response to my email. That was two days ago. "Will get back to me shortly" Yeah, right!
That said, I don't trust a company that don't respond when they say they will. In this case didn't respond at all. I decided to pay more and go with Best Buy Geek Squad who actually have a good reputation even though they cost more. I'm going down there right now to actually talk to someone.
Had a confirmed time and date for the TV to be mounted for 11/30 from 1-3. The morning of the scheduled installation I received a text stating "Hello Tech" had a mount installation scheduled for me on Dec. 1st at 2:00. I canceled this via SMS with the notes TV is already scheduled for service mounting on 11/30. I received a message Hello Tech would be charging me $25 for the cancellation fee.
They canceled my previously scheduled appointment on 11/30 without me knowing and rescheduled me during a time I had not agreed upon.
Had to call four different techs through Hello Tech.
This is a terrible platform and very inconsistent with no reliability.
Tip for consumers:
DO NOT USE HELLO TECH
Very competent and friendly tech.I also had my family members who are doctors and nurses prepare the house for his arrival, sanitize, scrub and had it prepared like the operating room! Your instructions add to the paranoia about COVID in this country
I was so excited about having my devices working I just told my tech I would call HelloTech again, I would make up something just to call, a little thing, its so wonderful to find someone who understands and takes the time to explain. I will forever tell everyone about the company, and your wonderful skilled techs. Thank you sooooo much.
I had an appointment for a tech to show up and nobody did. I called the company and they had no idea. They will call back, they never did. I called them back and they said the tech will not get there even though no call text or email. Company is awful

Had them come out 2 times because all my sensors were falling off the windows from the blinds hitting them. First guy sticky taped them on. 2nd guy, Ireti screwed them all in to fix it and glued one in a bedroom to be safe not to break the window from drilling. Then after he left i find out he cracked the glass in the last bedroom window and did not tell me. I was told by Hello Tech to pay him for the screws when he showed me the receipt which he conveniently said he lost when i asked for it. He said they were $17 and some change so i trusted him and gave him the cash. After he left I found out he never bought the screws and he lied about losing the receipt. This is such bad customer service. He knew to show the receipt and took advantage of me. Now I am waiting for the "Incident report" to get to management to see if they fix my cracked window and who knows if i get my $18 back. All this drama is not worth the $79 install fee.
Agent was on time and got right to work on my computer. Explained the steps that he was going to do to fix my computer. I am satisfied with his service. If I need service again
I would like to use the same agent.
The tech, Shawn, called me the night before he came to obtain a better idea of what my problem was. The next day he sent several texts to me advising me when he would be arriving. When he was working towards resolving the problem, he would explain what he was doing and why. Afterwards, he watched as I worked with my laptop and printed out an item from my laptop.
If I have any further problems I will be requesting Shawn to be the technician to be sent.
Had an appointment for Friday at 7. No way to contact the tech. Called the 1800 # sat on hold for over two hours. Had to use the chat (text) and allowed to get rebook me for Sunday at 9 and they charged my card again. It's now Sunday 10:36 and again no call no show. No email or anything. Call no answer so again I'm left to deal with the text. And ask me to pick another date and time for service. Are you crazy you think ima let you charged my card again. Now mind you they said they don't charged until service is complete. Lies on top of lies. 0/100 do not recommend

I had an appointment in February on a Saturday and cancel the appointment 24 hours before the appointment date. I'm still being charged 19.99 a month and have canceled my membership the same day as I cancel the appointment.
I tried several times to set up a new printer including calling the support line for the company. They resolved the issue initially but advised my internet service provider would need to "add something to the router" so the printer could connect as printers do not work well at 5G. The next day when I tried to print with my original printer, it would not work after the previous tech support person "fixed" the new printer. A friend advised it was not realistic to add "a connection" to the router, but did not have time to help me resolve the issue. I am a huge fan of Hello Tech and have used them multiple times to fix my computer and printers over the last several years. Tech Janryl L. With Hello Tech resolved the problem in less than an hour over the phone. I highly recommend the company to all my friends who are not tech wizards to handle computer and printer problems from the convenience of their homes.
I called to have them reactivate my ring doorbell they asked me to give them three different time preferences. It showed there was an opening at 2:00 today they scheduled me for tomorrow. I canceled they charged me $25. Greedy company.
Bought TV mounting service with TV from walmart 6/18/23. ($79) didn't realize that it's a 3rd party contractor! "hello tech" received over 200 bad reviews. I was asked to help lift the TV and a credit card billing information. Cannot comprehend the request for credit card on a prepaid job! When I submit for cancellation, hello tech immediately charged me $50 cancellation fee!

Cancelled service.
I have had the WORSE experience with HELLO TECH - They are charging me $19.99 per month for a service I never authorized - I strongly suggest if you decide to use this company record your own call -- Their business practices are NOT honorable -- Use at your own risk - Best Buy - the Geeks are the way to go
I have also reported this to the Business Bureau and ironically there were other complaints about the same thing
Paul S. Was knowledgeable and confident dealing with the printer, the operating system upgrade, and the system backup. I trusted him. He engaged with me while waiting for the operating system to upgrade.
