Our technician saved the day as the first tech scheduled was not available. Nizar came on time, was very professional, communicative and worked hard and fast. He listened an carried out our wishes to hang the tv on our wall. He went above and beyond helping move furniture back in place. Can't say enough good things about Nizar!
Don't provide invoices. Customer service useless, both chat and on phone. I have sent three requests for an invoice to be emailed to me. Tech was here over a week ago and still no invoice.
On 09/15/2021 was schedule the ring doorbell installation through Target. The technician show up almost 1 hour late. After 1 bell ring he call me to let me know he is leaving, my wife was home front of the garage but he do not take any effort to look around.
He install very badly the unit the wire was taped cover with black tape front of the door, shortly the ring start ringing nonstop with no reason smoking overheating, I call the office and the customer service rep was very rude and not help at all online scheduled for next day 09/16/2021 the service to come out and fixed 11:00 am I get the e-mail " the technician who scheduled not available any more" re scheduled without discuss with me t 09/19/2021 9:00AM I ask who will responsible when my house burn down because the wrongful installation? The answer: you can claim the damages from your home insurance

My tech, Jermaine, showed up on time and knew exactly how to fix my computer situation. He explained the problem and his approach to getting it right. I appreciated the fact that HelloTech was easy to work with and the cost was reasonable. Much better than Geeksquad because they come to you in your convenience
They scheduled a time to install a smart thermostat, the time came and went, and no installer showed up. I sent a message asking them what is going on, why is the installer not here yet. About 45 minutes after the scheduled time I receive a message saying that the installer is no longer available.
Do not use them, they are unreliable and have no concern for their clients. They wasted my time and did not even have the decency to call to let me know they were running late or unable to keep their appointment, nor did they apologize afterward.
I called this company for TV remote service. Upon arrival the next day, the tech arrived with NO tools to service my TV. Really?... To compound the problem, he spoke remedial english. Really?... I scheduled another appointment the next day but this technician was late 4 and half hours! Really?... How is it possible that this tech was more incompetent than the first? He had no idea where to start! Really?... I cancelled the order and had to call back and get the $95 "hold" off my credit card!... This company states unequivocally that they do NOT charge your account until the job has been completed! Really? This is unacceptable!... From top-to-bottom this company fails miserably! There is such a disconnect from the home office to customer service, from customer service to the techs in the field, and the techs to the paying customer.
Absolutely NO communication!... This is the WORST experience I have ever had dealing with a business! Stay away!
Their ad promises same day service. I was supposed to have a tech today but he did not show up. Then I was told one would be here tomorrow. Then I was told Nope. This is so typical of America's utter lack of decent customer service. I'm sick of it.
I booked this service because of the advertising, "Same Day Installation." The appointment has since been rescheduled 4 times after having been assured the appointment was set. This is NOT how servicing services should be scheduled (or lack of in this situation) should be handled. If I could leave less than 1 star, I would.

I scheduled an appt and waited (& waited & waited) for the tech to arrive. They claim he arrived and rang the doorbell (which doesn't work - makes no chime, etc... should've been obvious). Tech doesn't text, or call. Apparently waited 20 min and then left. I was sitting inside, downstairs the whole time. So they charged me. What delivery or appointment service doesn't call or text ahead? Especially if they are waiting outside? And then charges me $69 for nothing? I'm going back to Geek Squad. This never happened with them.
I have the worst experience with Hellotech. I order a security door lock that I can used my phone to open my door and order there service to install it. The day that they suppose to install my lock, the person didn't show up, and when I check the status it said the job was completed. They also charge me $200 for additional item. I call the customer service and let them know and the manager told me that someone else would show up and they never did. This company is a rip off. Don't trust them. If I could give them a negation 100 I would.
They promised us service and dragged it on for 5 days only to cancel the appt last minute. I will never ever ever contact these people again. I gave them my card number in good faith and all they have given me in return was the runaround.
We need to fix our subwoofer - no more sound. So I called this morning, Harrison answered my call right away. He was very patient and knowledgeable. He gave me a reasonable quote and tell me if their technician can't fix the problem, there is no charge at all. But unfortunately my husband decided to get a used subwoofer on Craigslist soon after Harrison had set up the appointment on monday(4/2) afternoon. I had to call back to cancel my appointment. Harrison was a little disappointed, but still being very polite. I'll definitely use their services in the future when there is a need.
I contacted Hello Tech early July 2022 for In Home computer tech. They were unable to provide service technicians and this rolled into August. I provided 5-6 hours a day for available times and still they could not provide service. My credit card shows 2 months of charges that was not removed as they reflected membership. Why should I pay a membership for a service they cant provide. After taking off work, they emailed me to say technician wasn't available two different times. I am furious I have had to pay $19.00 a month for the last two months. That's like paying for Gym membership and they have no equipment. I do not recommend this company.

Hellotech is nothing more than a job posting board for independent contractors. I live in a rural area and after five days of reassuring me that "someone" would pick up my job, they sent me a cancellation text saying. This company is nothing more than a jole of a middleman collecting a cut from any guy that signs up with them to provide tech support. Don't waste your time or money!
We were referred to Hellotech by Xfinity to have additional rooms wired for cable. Technician had to go into upper crawlspace and after an hour was unable to complete the job, but in the meantime put his foot through the kitchen ceiling, leaving a significant hole. Tech was apologetic, took pictures and told me how to file a claim. After I filed the claim I received an email asking for pictures and a decision would be made in 7 -10 days. Pictures were sent, numerous emails and phone calls and it's been about 30 days and I have heard nothing and still have a hole in my ceiling. Customer service really sucks!

This is a great company, you really get what you pay for, so happy we paid for yearly service if anything may go wrong because this initial project was no complaints.
Randy came in/out and was very professional and respectful eventhough I was a women, usually companies do limited work when they see it's only a women. This was not the case, he did what we paid for and it was quality.
Tech was punctual and handled the service task satisfactorily. He was personable and answered my questions without hesitation. I also appreciated the fact he wore booties over his work boots to ensure my floor remained clean.
This company if I could give less than one store I certainly would. They have not returned my phone calls after I made my plans for the inefficiency in the installation of the locks and that I had to have them replaced by a second company and with no response from them at all... I chose them for their high rating but evidently they don't care about customer service at all. I submitted these photos and a copy of the bill to have my locks put on again since the locks they put on or not able to be used and as of yet they have not issued me a refund or a refund for the installation for the new locks I had to have put on. Please look at the pictures and judge for yourself of their poor workmanship
After giving several days and times, my scheduled tech was a no show two times. Now I get to wait a week for them to schedule someone else. I was a field service tech for many years, this is inexcusable by the tech and the company. I have never seen such poor service and lack of professionalism anywhere at anytime.

I cannot give high enough praise of my technician, Exel Rivera. He contacted me a few times before my appointment to see if I had any questions about anything and then the night before he was coming to confirm and then again on the day of my appointment to let me know he was on his way. He arrived right on time. Exel was courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable about installing some video doorbells and thermostats from google. He was very neat and precise and he left the work areas spotless. He made sure everything was working 100% before leaving and asked me so many times if i had any questions. He gave me his cell# and even called me that night to see how it was all going. After dealing with some other companies like Handy and Ontech and that nightmare this was such an absolute pleasurable experience that i can highly recommend Hellotech and their services and i feel so lucky to have had Exel to come into my home.
The tech was very nice and patient with my questions. He cleaned up my laptop and it is running better than when I first purchased it. After cleaning up my HP laptop system he set it up and I have not had anymore sluggish response. I plan on keeping this service.
Bought my 65" TV and full-motion mount from Walmart then paid for the service to have it mounted above my fireplace -I couldn't be happier.
They scheduled me in the next day and sent over a qualified professional to do the job. My TVs up where I want it and looks great. It was fast, easy, and cheap.

I scheduled an appointment to have my TV mounted to the wall 3 days ago. The tech did not show up this morning. No call, no nothing. I called Hello Tech and was told the tech was no longer available and to reschedule as early as tomorrow. Gave them 2 different times for tomorrow and they said no one is available. I canceled my order and request my money back that they already took out of my account.

These folks wasted my time. They came out to my house two hours late only to tell me they don't install the Ring system. They will install the Ring doorbell? I spelled out exactly what I wanted done before they came out. So don't bother with these folks.
The way HelloTech works is so easy. I filled out a form online, picked my appointment time, and the technician was here at that time of my appointment. He was so very knowledgeable, and worked through my issues until it was resolved. He was very pleasant and seemed to really enjoy his job. It was a great experience to have a job taken care of right off the bat.
