Our technician saved the day as the first tech scheduled was not available. Nizar came on time, was very professional, communicative and worked hard and fast. He listened an carried out our wishes to hang the tv on our wall. He went above and beyond helping move furniture back in place. Can't say enough good things about Nizar!
Don't provide invoices. Customer service useless, both chat and on phone. I have sent three requests for an invoice to be emailed to me. Tech was here over a week ago and still no invoice.
Firstly they say that they don't charge you until the service is complete. Well, that's complete bull$#*!, they charged me instantly and promised me that the service is basically guaranteed. So then comes the day they were supposed to install my tv, the tech calls last minute and says he can't make it and that i'll have to call and reschedule. Well, nobody ever freaking picks up, took me an entire week to get a hold of someone, then they just tell me to reschedule online. So after i rescheduled to the next week (so the next scheduled date is 2 weeks after the missed installation date). I take the whole day off of work just to be there. Lo and behold, tech doesn't show up, and this time doesn't even give me a call. I ended up talking to their chat because nobody $#*!ing answers the phone. He once again just tries his best to get me to stop using the chat 'oh i promise he's on his way, please close the chat window.' and then I get an email saying that the tech is unavailable and they 'are currently looking for another tech'. $#*! it's been 3 weeks since I paid, and those incompetent asses still haven't gotten $#*! done. And then I find out they also automatically added me to their $#*!ty tech subscription and charged me right away without my knowledge.
Tip for consumers:
keep an open schedule. make sure you're available for at least 2 months straight. these guys cannot keep an appointment to save their lives.
I was charged $542 for mounting a 50-inch TV. I looked at my bill and noticed I was charged for hooking a PS5 that was already hooked up and an indoor antenna that was never mounted. Also, the tech couldn't get the antenna working but still charged me for it even though it wasn't mounted, and he couldn't get it to work.

Today is day 4 of waiting to hear when I will be SCHEDULED to have the in-home service appointment. Who knows when/if they respond how much longer I'll need to get that service. Totally unacceptable; I cancellef
My smart Logitech doorbell had already been installed and operational. What I needed help with was installing the chime. The tech was unable to connect the doorbell chime downstairs, only connected it upstairs for some reason ( both chime boxes are exactly the same wiring & setup). While the tech was here I inquired about a smart thermostat install downstairs (I had someone else install a nest upstairs previously). He did the same thing as he did with the downstairs chime install, opened the wiring and told me the same excuse about certain wiring and that he was unable to connect it… in reality he had no idea what he was talking about so I sent him on his way.
Results:
The doorbell chime upstairs worked for a short period and now has stopped chiming when rang. Considering this was the only part I had requested serviced not much was done. I had to pay $115 for a "full smart doorbell install" just for 1 out of 2 chimes in my house to be attempted & installed incorrectly.
Overall, I'm not thrilled with customer service or support.
Our HelloTech Tech Bernard was FAST! He had everything he needed, listened allowed me to show him where our Logitech Circleview Doorbell Camera needed to be installed and existing doorbell transformer were located, and immediately started the installation. Finished hardware installation in ~ 15 minutes, He then assisted me in adding our new Logitech Circleview Doorbell Camera to Apple HomeKit on my iPad Pro and verified it was working properly including doorbell chime. AMAZING!
I used HelloTech to install a large home theater system and they basically sent Jim Carey's character from Dumb and Dumber. The guy was useless! Plus, I have had about $1,400 in fraudulent charges on my HelloTech account in the past 2 months! I ask for my account to be deleted and they lie and say they will delete it. It's still there and I am still getting fraudulent charges! It takes 10 DAYS to get your money back! I had to change my debit card to stop the fraudulent charges! And my account is still there! The email addresses they give you are invalid. They say they will delete your account within 24-48 hours (THEY LIE OUT BOTH ENDS). BEWARE! They have two things for site security: JACK and SQUAT. Along with their absolutely useless people, HelloTech is a JOKE of a company!

We have had problems with our printer connecting wirelessly and all the tech did was uninstall the printer and reinstall the printer. I knew this did not fix my issue but because my printer was printing sporadically he insisted that it did. $150 later and my printer still does not work, I tried reaching out to the tech directly but no response.
Only reason for the one star; is you have to give something. All the HYPE on Tech Sending a TEXT when he is on route/arrival time/is pure bull! My tech (MATT) never showed and they couldn't find him. I called at 10 minutes and 30 minutes behind schedule and 'in route' was all i was told. After 1 hour; I called and cancelled. Don't let the 3 hour "cancellation policy Scare you' Placed it on AMEX and they folded

On Tuesday I booked service. On saturday they cancelled it because they have no technicians on the Big Island of Hawaii. A dozen or so emails and texts later! And they tried to sell me a service plan which they cant service! I received a text that i had been billed for the service call. They said it wasnt to be billed until service completed… it was just an authorization. We'll see. I cant get anyone to confirm they didnt bill me. Nonetheless… they force you to give them your credit card information just to schedule an appountment to which they have no service technicians. They obviously are sending people who have paid to join… probably free lancers and not even employeed or insured by them. So if you want a total unknown free lancer sent to your home to set up your electronics and security system by all means hire a company who puts out cattle calls for technicians and trues to sell you a service plan which they have no techs to service.

Great guy. Worked fast and steady. Answered all my questions concerning the tv wall mount. Right on time with a courtesy call when he arrived on the driveway.

Said he knew how to install the tv at an optimal viewing distance and its way too high. Was unwilling to redo the assignment to a better standard. Slow support communication.
Hired this company, HelloTech to install a SimpliSafe alarm. The tech arrived, mentioned he "was in a hurry, and needed to knock the job out quick. Even asked if I could assist him in unboxing and connecting all via my iPhone.
He proceeded to install two door sensors. Then got to a window. He could not get the sensor to stick, so he decided to drill. He drilled a hole into the window frame and the window glass immediately cracked all the way across.
He asked if he'd like me to proceed. Declined and told him this job is done and would like to terminate. Also, asked him to file an incident report of the damaged. He asked me to just do it all via email. Again, I declined and asked him to file the report while still on site and on speaker phone.
Very unprofessional and unequipped to do a simple job and task. Did not even apologize for the damages he caused.
Now the fun part, getting my property repaired back to original form. A brand new home! They have been extremely unresponsive and is tracking towards a date in small claims. Also, spreading the word about how horrible and unprofessional this experience has been.
Proceed with caution with HelloTech. They don't care that they damaged our brand new home. Nor respond to several calls, emails and chats. Stay far away and hire a company or individual with better practices.
Overall experience a 0 of 10.

I booked for an in-house firestik setup 6-17-22 between 10-12. No one showed. They called & set up for the
Next day. Still no one showed. Said they couldn't find a tech. Again Sunday no show. This kept up for several more times. Was told no charge until job completed but I saw a chrg on June 19th. Called and disputed Told they'd credit me due in 3 days. Notified cc co. And eventually the charge stayed as HT told them it was a phone support call (BS!) DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. BIG SCAM*******
Techs are well trained. Generally short wait times. They have an online tune-up that I have them do about once a quarter for my 3 computers ( for $13.99 a month). Keeps them in good shape.
