Our technician saved the day as the first tech scheduled was not available. Nizar came on time, was very professional, communicative and worked hard and fast. He listened an carried out our wishes to hang the tv on our wall. He went above and beyond helping move furniture back in place. Can't say enough good things about Nizar!
Don't provide invoices. Customer service useless, both chat and on phone. I have sent three requests for an invoice to be emailed to me. Tech was here over a week ago and still no invoice.
I booked a technician to come help solve internet speed and connectivity issues in my home. He did not know what he was doing at a professional level.
He had no knowledge of my particular internet provider and how they set up internet in their customers' homes. His advice was to move my router to another room to help improve the weak signal and connect the phone cord of my router to a different phone wall jack. When actually the internet provider only sets up the phone cord to work in the original wall jack. Any others will not be useable. So the Hello Tech technician's advice was not accurate or useful.
Also I asked for help with my extender because it is currently not connecting with my modem. He did not help with this issue. Nor did he did even know what a mesh router is...
Do not recommend using HelloTech to help solve your internet issues unless you can guarantee an experienced professional as your technician. Otherwise the service is not worth the price you pay.
The guy came out and parked in my driveway. I asked him to move so that I could pull in. Later he said he'd been drinking water and he asked could he use my restroom. I said no. Then he continued to discuss his jobs waiting for him once he leaves my house. He installed a video doorbell and solar panel without asking me if they were centered or placed where I wanted. When I looked for myself, they were crooked so he had to remove and correct both. THEN… the next day I saw where the company had charged me an additional fee that we'd never discussed. I have disputed the charge. Do not trust them!

I recently had an issue with my Outlook email that was lingering into its second day. Outlook was not responding properly as result; I was not able to use Outlook in its full capacity. Nonetheless, by investing in Hello Tech's affordable monthly membership, I was able to secure a remote service with technician Christian B. Who provided a stick to it determination to figure out the problem. But most importantly who took the time to provide me with a phenomenal sustainable solution.
Horrible service. Please do not hire them if you want to save yourself from headache. They sent a guy for installation who had no idea how to install. He broke my equipment. After few emails back and forth where I have to explain the problem again and again, they sent another guy to redo the work. He was good but left job unfinished as he arrived late and had to leave for another appointment. Now, when I asked to send the same guy to complete unfinished work and compensate me for broken device, they asked me to go through claims form. Here I am with unfinished work, broken device and charged me for installation after 3 weeks of saga.
I booked almost a month in advance to have our TV dismounted for a move. The HelloTech technician confirmed a week prior to the appt. The day of the appt he was a no show. I had to spend an hour on their chat with no resolution other than rescheduling. They charged me $25 to reschedule. We rescheduled for the next day when our moving truck was here. They kept pushing the appt back saying they were working on finding someone and could we add more dates to make it easier for them?
I ended up having to contact several handyman and was able to get someone to come out quickly, and did the job for less than HelloTech was charging.
Hellotech just wasted our time during an especially busy time.

HelloTech sent me an incompetent technician to mount my $1400 television. He did mount it properly, I sent him text messages confirming I was concerned due to a screw being missing and the television sagging, and he told me it would be fine. Fast forward a few weeks and my television falls of the wall.
He claimed to his company that I "modified" the mount in some way. I did not. I used the full range mount as you normally would and it just fell off my wall. They claim no responsibility and are trying to put the blame on me.
I am in the process of fighting for my rightful compensation for the property damage and refund of services. They are not easy to deal with. Buyer beware.
Hellotech is a horrible company. On 08/30/2022, I hired them to install a smart thermostat. The tech David N. Did not install the thermostat correctly. My A/C unit was blowing heat and not cold air. I live in Texas and it is hot enough without their crappy work. I telephoned the company numerous times. They failed to sent a tech back out that day. Thy finally scheduled a tech to come out today at noon. The tech, Emmanuel called me at 11:40 am and informed me he was not coming because it was too far to drive.
Their customer service is non existent! I fired Hellotech and have hired a different company. I have demanded Hellotech refund my money and will bill them for the cost of hiring a competent company.
Technician asked me to bring computer to their "lab", which address was the rental office of their apartment complex. When I got there, and found it was an individual's apartment, I was like no way. I was in tears. Wasted a day and a half trying to get this notebook power port repaired.
HelloTech damaged my walls when mounting my 65 inch TV. After going round and round with them for a month, they finally agreed to reimburse me for the repair of the wall. Even signed a agreement stating the fact I would be reimbursed. I have not received my reimbursement after stating it would be two weeks. Customer service will not respond to my emails
Scam site. Look forward to weekly/ monthly charges on the CC you leave on file and prepare to be forced into changing your account number. Don't bother reaching out to their customer service, they'll try to charge your card just to cancel their "membership" you never signed up for.
I made an appointment with Hellotech for the following day to install a tv on the wall. The time was scheduled for between 11 and 1. At 12:30 I got an email saying the tech was running 15 to 30 minutes. By 2 pm still no tech. I finally got tired of waiting and called. I was told the original tech was no longer available and they were trying to find another one. If one is found, it could possibly be 8 pm. I told them I wanted my money back and will NEVER use them again.
My tech went above and beyond what was asked (he set up Roku on 4 different tvs)!. Very helpful! Professional, efficient, he solved multiple problems to get everything up and running! I would recommend him to my mother!
I do not recommend. They like to add charges that are not requested. I ordered their services to setup my tv. All I wanted was the onetime charge. They tacked on a $4.99 trial charge for their monthly service. I told them to take it off but they never responded. I cancelled the service and was charged $25. Not sure what the charge was about because when I talked to tech he had open times. Not reputable in my judgement

I booked an appointment to have my new TV mounted by Hello Tech. On the day of the appointment, Hello Tech cancelled and did not provide a reason for cancellation. After two hours on the phone with customer service, I was informed that the service was not available in my area. Why is Hello Tech wasting my valuable time by taking an appointment that isn't available in my area? Why are they leaving me on hold for two hours? This company is extremely unprofessional, and I would not recommend anyone use or even consider Hello Tech services.

I used the company once, the support was sound but booking the one time appointment locked me in to a 12 month contract. I had multiple emails to customer service since March of 2022 to cancel my subscription. The support team told me to go online. Months and months of the same direction and then about 24 hours ago was suggested to call. I spoke to a customer service agent and the supervisor who basically admitted the poor system and lack of term clarity. Beware before you book with this company
Scheduled HelloTech to install Nest Hello video doorbell. The guy came out and tried to install but could not get it to work. It worked intermittently. He was at my house for 4 hours. He called HelloTech to get help on the issue was transferred four times and hung up on each time. They don't even support their techs in the field. He said he thought it was an electrical issue and suggested I get an electrician. I asked him to at least put my doorbell back together so I had a doorbell that worked. He tried and could not get it to work again. Said he would investigate issue and call me back with a solution. He never called me back. At least HelloTech reversed the charge for installation. Had an electrician out today who said the the wires in the doorbell where not connected correctly. Don't waste your time.
I'm a General Contractor, stuck with a bunch of brand new Honeywell thermostats (over $600), that they indicated will work with my mechanical system. After spending $200 working with my plumber on trying to find a way to make them work, discovered they are not compatible. When we gave up and plumber decided to go to his supply house and get different ones, I contacted HelloTech about returning, to which they replied we were past the 30-day window... which I guess they start counting the day you place the order, so watch out! The place was totally unaccommodating taking these back over their misguidance. Will never use them again, obviously.

First off I don't usually take the time to review but I had to do it today.Plain and simple book LUIS! He's tha Bomb! Great customer service, personality a TEN!, a kind individual.my first tech was not good at all and he had a bad attitude lied to me and said he couldn't mount my tv because of my "fire wall" which I didn't have and I told him then said we'll it's gonna take me 4 hrs to do this job (as if I cared).but that's enough about that guy. Ask for Luis! PERIODT
My tech was on time. This is a big plus for me. He came prepared to do the job. He was friendly and kind and very knowledgeable. My television looks wonderful on my wall. I will definitely recommend him. Thank you.
HelloTech has gone from being unknown by me to being a go-to resource for my whole family. I used their remote access feature on one computer as a trial, and plan to use their services on my wife's laptop and a printer that has recently "lost it's way" on our Wi Fi network.
If you are dealing with a Ring issue and need someone who really knows the system, Hello Tech is for you. I had several issues that were diagnosed and fixed. My wife is happy again that the doorbell works again and we can hear it ring in the house and on our phones.
I don't remember the workers name but if the company can find out who the man was that came to do a job in Oceanside yesterday around four o'clock. I'd just like to say he was one of the nicest professional people to deal with. He was courteous and as for the job mounting my tv it was outstanding. I'd tip if I didn't have to pay three hundred for everything but I'm not complaining I had a 65 inch so the price is acceptable. The aftermath is breathtaking truly. I don't know why they got negative reviews but I was shocked and glad I made the call these guys. Omar was my helper in the process of getting someone to come over. Thank you to both workers.
