Our technician saved the day as the first tech scheduled was not available. Nizar came on time, was very professional, communicative and worked hard and fast. He listened an carried out our wishes to hang the tv on our wall. He went above and beyond helping move furniture back in place. Can't say enough good things about Nizar!
Don't provide invoices. Customer service useless, both chat and on phone. I have sent three requests for an invoice to be emailed to me. Tech was here over a week ago and still no invoice.

Doug from Hello Tech arrived on time. He was super pleasant and friendly. We spent time telling him what our issues were and he went straight to work. All issues were resolved quickly and he told us what steps to take if we needed help in the future. Part of our problem had to do with a faulty cable box. He went out of his way to identify the problem and he resolved our issues. He couldn't have been more respectful of our home and our property. Excellent tech and service. This is the way to go especially for seniors looking for in home help and support.
The tech who helped us did a great job. He was friendly, courteous and very respectful. He listened to the situation that we were having, and walked through the problem with us. He then got to work and didn't excellent job fixing the problem that we were having. I would highly recommend Ariguez and would definitely have him back if I had a future need. Also, the ability to make an appointment was easy, and I was able to get a tech out the very next day, which was great.
I contracting this company through Target over a month ago for "Professional Installation" of a 50 in TV. The process to just get the appointment was backwards and should have been my first clue that this was going to go left. However, I continued on ad scheduled the appointment only to have a tech (and use that term very loosely) come to my home and strip and damage my existing coax cable and disconnect my router leaving me no internet or TV service to my other devices.
Contacting the Customer Service Department located in the Philippines was just a run around and being placed on hold. The process was frustraing to say the least as they instructed me to open a damage claim which to this day has not been resolved and I ony get contacted about it when I call them!
Save yourselve the headache and just don't use them.

Research and DO NOT USE HelloTech for your installations as all of their techs are outside contractors which they don't gaurntee the work.

11am appt to hang a TV. (mount already installed). Tech left 3pm. Kept going in and out to his car. Little did I know he stole items from my home. Kept asking if I had cameras or security, and other personal identifying questions. Charged me an additional $60 in cash after I paid in full through Walmart. I felt unsafe so I paid it. I will never use this company again. Still waiting for corporate to follow up.
Sovente just left after installing our Cove security system. He was WONDERFUL! Not only was he knowledgable, but also courteous and helpful. He took his time explaining things so we understood how the system works and even made a few good suggestions as to where to place cameras.
I would highly recommend him and feel your company is lucky to have as an installer.

I joined HelloTech on August 26,2020 to replace my Geek Squad membership.
Geek Squad no longer had the membership I had for 8 yrs. So I went looking elsewhere.
Reviews online and on HelloTech website indicated that it offered the same computer support as Geek Squad even memtioning Geek Squad on their web site.
I have a problem that HelloTech could not fix online. I contacted HelloTech about a tech coming out to the house to fix the problem. One problem they said they could not fix that I had to go to a computer tech company. Their website makes it sound like they are a computer support firm.
With Geek Squad I have had some problems they could not fix online. I took the computer into Best Buy and they fixed the problem.
HelloTech lies about what they can do.
I hope to get my money back.

Twice scheduled an appointment. Twice, they could not find a tech to assign my order to with 24 in the area. They cancelled my 2nd appointment without contacting me or even trying to reschedule for the same reason. Unreliable.
Tip for consumers:
See that they do not cancel on you without your approval for their lack of being able to assign a technician. Totally unreliable.
I made an appt. On one day to fix my printer. The tech Lawrence never showed up and did not call! Never had someone so rude. Made another day and time and they said they could not make that time!
Gave them one more chance to make another time and day and they could not make that! I was so angry. What kind of service is this? I gave you 3 different days with 3 different times and you could not make any? The people are very nice, but I told them I am going back to Geek Squad. Horrible Service!
Horrible customer service and communication from this company. NEVER showed up for appt. OVER TWO HOURS I waited, and had to take time off work again to reschedule and still want to bill me $50. They are a joke, and will not respect your scheduled appointment. Go elsewhere for real service.
We had a technician come out to install a NEST thermostat in our condo. He was not able to do this as he stated he "is not an HVAC technician" and did not understand our current thermostat setup enough to switch it over to NEST. He explained we would not be charged as he couldnt complete the job. Well, we were still got charged $106 and after multiple attempts I can not get a response from this company!
I made a big mistake not hiring the second time and Hello Tech dispatched an inexperienced tech, I had to kook again and specifically asked for Jason, extreme skills, great personality, he deserved a 10 star rating!
He reconnected my wireless printer, installed my Xfinity email, deleted all files on my old MacBook, tasks that the previous tech was unable to perform (!), he made sure that all was connected correctly to iPhone, iPad, Mcbook air, the previous tech created a nightmare/a big mess.
Jason has so much knowledge, on time, very very reliable.
I highly recommend him.
Total B.S. Of a company. A waste of four days of my life I will never get back. Each day a tech would "be at your home at 9a". On Monday, the first tech no showed, and was going to come on Tuesday instead. Tuesday, no tech again. So, they scheduled a different tech for Wednesday...who didn't show so we went to the HelloTech and rescheduled...and they charged us $25 to reschedule! Then Thursday they no showed again! Run. Run very fast away from this company.

Seems kind of scammy to me
Hellotech quoted me a price to dismount and then mount a new TV on my wall. They overcharged me $69 more than they quoted. I brought that to their attention numerous times but no one would follow up on it. Finally I received a refund for $50 but not for the $69 they agreed they overcharged me. Then they put the $50 refund and the $69 back on my credit card. I disputed the charges with my credit card company. The lack of any follow up and the incompetence and the overcharges, what a mess. Don't use them or get a quote in writing.

The tech completed my order, however he caused over $600 in damage to drywall invarious places of my home. When I reached out the hello tech customer support team and provided them pictures of the damage they refused to respond.
Gave it a one star because there is not a 0 star. Supposed to come out didnt show. Repeat. Third time tech showed up went to get a ladder i dont know why.it was for a thermostat. Never came back. Finally had to call corporate to get a response. The tech said he was exposed to Covid and had to be tested. And he came to our house! I would never recommend them to anyone. Not even my worst enemy
Christian was VERY helpful and knew exactly what he was doing! He was quick and efficient and cleaned up all loose debris when he was done. Couldn't ask for a more courteous, pleasant, person to work in my home.
Jonathan read my request for help on the HelloTech website as I was forced to make another appointment. After spending $200+ to get streaming installed on all 3 TVs, the previous HelloTech installed streaming but deactivated my surround sound system. Jonathan to the rescue. He phoned me to understand the issue. Then he came to my house and fixed the surround sound system.
I have a 75" flatscreen TV. I told the Hello Tech rep whom I spoke to, that I am not able to assist in mounting such a large screen to my wall. I explained one person would not be enough, because the TV was too heavy. Two Hello Tech reps on 2 separate days, told me not to worry, that they would send two technicians over to do the job. They lied. And then had the gall to ask me to wait 5 hours and they'd send 2 technicians over. Why would I believe a 3rd lie…their promises were obviously not to be trusted.
Megan contacted me originally and immediately told me that she knew what the issue was and had me go buy a new Linksys mesh network without seeing the issue. I purchased the $250 equipment despite already having a very new wifi network. While she certainly tried to get the speeds up, she had to leave to get to the next appointment. My wifi signal was now fairly strong but speeds were not really improved. Right after she left, my service was WAY worse than it was before she cane out. She told me that I'd have to work with Fidium (my internet provider - 1GB speed is what I pay for) now on the speeds. Today, the Fidium tech came out and was able to get the speeds up from the modem. But, the speeds out of the new wifi network that Megan had me get simply weren't much better.
I scheduled a service and the technician called be and asked if I really wanted him to come out…yea I did. Then he was going to be 2 hours later, so I rescheduled for the next day. They then called me when the technician was supposed to arrive and told me to wait for him he was in traffic, but would be there…45 minutes late. We waited the extra 45 minutes and at 55 minutes late I got a text saying he wasn't coming at all. They are so unprofessional and the technician I spoke to on the phone was very rude. I cancelled my request altogether, I then got a text saying my appointment was scheduled for December 31st, I never scheduled another appointment and definitely not one two months away. I will never use them again.
I had a ring item installed. The technician was on time and very nice, but I found it concerning that I was asked to pay through an app. Since the technician couldn't do not complete all of the items that had been prepaid, he suggested canceling the service and paying him directly. I asked him if it was against policy and he said no. Well, I read the FAQ after he left and it is against the HelloTech policy. I assume he didn't want them to get a percentage of the fee. It looks like I didn't receive service and I did. I have video of him doing the install to prove it. He also did not do a great job, it looks haphazard. I think he tried his best but wasn't skilled enough. I would not recommend HelloTech to anyone.
I was very excited when I discovered HelloTech. A quick, responsive, technologically capable repair and support service for everything tech. But I was quickly disappointed. I had to wait weeks to schedule my first appointment. My tech arrived several hours late. He wasn't able to fix the problem with my remote. So I cancelled my service. Or so I thought. The auto renew notices kept coming month after month, even though I was no longer using the service. When I received my most recent auto renew notice, I went on line to cancel. Spent fifteen minutes trying to discover where I could cancel. Entering "Cancel" into their search engine produced no results. I finally saw a chat pop up and talked with a bot for a few minutes before they brought on (ostensibly) a live human, who took about five minutes to resolve my problem and cancel my auto renew. She also explained how I could have done it myself, which was a set of convoluted steps. Whoever runs your customer service operations could learn a lot from reading Carmine Gallos books (especially The Apple Experience; The Innovation Secrets of Steve Jobs). On paper, Hello Tech could be a GREAT service. But you need to get the engineering of your customer experience right. What are you trying to sell? I would think, delighted and happy long term relationships, while reducing anxiety amongst your customer base.

If you need to cancel, search under your profile. It's not going to be obvious, intuitive or easy until their website designer gets his or her act together.

Do not use this company. They lie, they hang up on you, they just don't care. There is no premier service here. You can't even speak to a supervisor in a reasonable amount of time. They remoted in and crashed my computer. Then they didn't send a technician. I waited four days without being able to run my business. Calling several times a day. Since I couldn't get them to help I got another person and sent them the bill. They refused to reimburse it saying I made up the part of them remoting in and sending my computer to black screen. Do not use this company. They should go out of business. I am in the service business and they are nothing but liers and scammers. Shame on you.
