Our technician saved the day as the first tech scheduled was not available. Nizar came on time, was very professional, communicative and worked hard and fast. He listened an carried out our wishes to hang the tv on our wall. He went above and beyond helping move furniture back in place. Can't say enough good things about Nizar!
Don't provide invoices. Customer service useless, both chat and on phone. I have sent three requests for an invoice to be emailed to me. Tech was here over a week ago and still no invoice.
My experience with HelloTech was exceptional. They were punctual and very accommodating. The installer, Megan, was extremely knowledgeable and efficient.

It seemed the tech had fixed the problem, but after he left it started again. Waiting to hear about return visit scheduling. He was very nice and dedicated.
I requested and agreed to pay for services to mount a television and hide the cords, which I was promptly charged for. However, about 3-weeks later they charged my credit card a second time for a stereo installation, which I did not receive or agree to.
I immediately called Hello Tech and advised them of the situation. Each time I was told that I would receive a return call within 24-hours; this has happened for any of the four occasions that I've called. The person answering the phone assures me that it's a clerical error and that I will be credited the money back; however, they requested that I not file a fraud claim with my credit card company while they sort this out. The last time I told them I was proceeding with a claim since they have not followed through with any of their commitments, including providing me with a receipt for services.
They have provided my credit card company with a copy of my initial request for services, along with a copy of their pricing schedule from their website, but not a copy of a receipt signed by me. I have been dealing with this for about six weeks now. The headache is not worth it! I do not believe they are ethical or responsive to their customers, and now I get to spend my time pursuing fraud charges against them.
I used the service one time to get a TV mounted. The guy that came and did the work told me that I could have just contacted him directly and paid less. I didn't think much of it until I started seeing $19.99 come out of my account each month, plus what I paid the installer. I inquired about it and was told after 30 days you have to pay $19.99 a month for a whole year. FOR WHAT, I DO NOT USE YOUR SERVICE. I changed my card so that they would quit taking it out and they went back to my old card even though it is not on file anymore and I did not give them permission to do so. I had to go to my bank and put a stop payment on for them in order to get them to stop scamming me out of $19.99 a month for no service. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.

I purchased a Honeywell Smart Thermostat and hired a technician via HelloTech in mid-November to replace my current thermostat in my brownstone. The technician installed it, but didn't check to see if it worked. It didn't and my house was without heat for me and my tenants. I called HelloTech within a few hours, and they promised they would reach out within 24-48 hours. They didn't. My house was without heat for six days in 30 degree weather, I called every day to resolve this issue and talked to absolutely useless customer service agents that promised that they would get back to me, only to completely disappear. Finally, I had to hire an emergency electrician to come in and tell me that the thermostat was faulty. When I finally did get a hold of someone at HelloTech who did something, one week later, they told me I would have to return the thermostat, wait for a new thermostat, then make a new appointment with a technician. That would mean 2 1/2 weeks without heat in December. They offered no solutions.
This was an absolute nightmare. DO NOT HIRE HELLOTECH. I have truly never received such horrendous customer service in my life. I have been emailing them every three days since trying to get a full refund for the thermostat (which they finally provided me a UPS shipping label for) and the labor. This cost me about $900 more than it should have, with the HelloTech cost plus the emergency electrician. Truly unbelievable. I've had plenty of bad experiences with contractors, but this takes the cake. BEWARE.

This is by far the worst company to choose to work for as well as being a customer of. They drive the techs over 2 hours or more if the customer not home or for whatever reasons the customer don't want the service they only pay the tech 25.00. They lock customers in a contract and will not let them out for a year. I had a job today a customer had a problem with his PC as a Hellotech you can't wipe a computer clean they will ask you to do so under cover but they want the tech to buy windows that's 200.00 and they only paying 60.00 that includes travel for hours gas and to do the work. They are robbing the techs. They tell you if you accept a job it don't count against you if you see it's too far but they did not say they don't give a warning they will stop the tech from working. Customer asked for t tv mount but you have to dig in your pocket after driving for 2-3hours on your own dime but have to buy something to get the job you can't charge the customer for it they will give you 10.00 less than what you paid for it. I still have not been paid for the jobs I went to over 100 miles and having insurance they still take money from you. By far the worst to partnership with.

I had a the most unprofessional experience with this company. Scheduled a TV mounting and the technician did not show up and I was not contacted at all. Called them to see what is going on and they said they will %100 send someone else the same day and they had no idea why the technician didn't show up they just gave me reasons why they might not been able to show up. I was okay with rescheduling and did work with them to get someone else in. Things happen. They didn't send any other technician the same day as they promised but instead they scheduled someone 2 days after. I was okay with that. On the day of the service the other technician contacted me and said there was a scheduled mixed up and he wont be able to make it. They are not a professional company. A professional company would contact you if your technician cant show up or know how to schedule. I took 2 days of work because I trusted that they will show up to perform the service they are scheduled for.

I recently got my TV mounted from a HelloTech technician and he poorly advised me on where I could get my TV mounted. After a few months I noticed my TV leaning and as I am watching TV, the entire mount fell off the wall and destroyed my TV, damaged the walls and damage my game console. I've reached out to support numerous times but they keep telling me that someone will contact me within 48hrs and nobody ever does! Please do not use HelloTech, i have picture proof of my damaged TV and wall for anyone that is curious on why not to use HelloTech!

In September a 2022 I had a technician come here absolutely horrible did not finish the insulation left my doorbell camera hanging on the side of my door my security cameras were not installed properly and made sexual comments to me the whole time he was here,he's supposed to be here at 10:00 and didn't get here till 3:30 in the afternoon I contacted them they told me they would not charge me for the installation fee and they did anyhow I guess they're in the business of sending out technicians to harass their customers sexually made some horrible remarks to me,to be honest I was actually scared to be here alone with him by myself and I told hello Tech this after calling them about four times they assured me I would not be charged guess what they did, so I'm paying to be sexually harassed wonderful business they're running the guy was supposed to install my camera equipment and was here for over 4 hours even the people that I bought the camera equipment from says it only takes about an hour and a half 2 hours at the most the guy was just biding his time on my couch petting my cat waiting for something scary scary scary and so i have a daycare so after my child care children left he really started in on me with sexual harassment they really need to check out their employees before something bad happens. Beware ladies make sure you have someone else there at your home with you. Shame on hello Tech that is just a lawsuit waiting to happen

I bought it as part of my Chromebook purchase from Walmart to provide tech support for my husband who is not knowledgeable. We set up an account and when we called the service they told us they don't support CHROMEBOOK and we would have to have them come to our house for another $100. They blamed Walmart and Walmart blames them... so I am out the EXTRA $100 I paid for them and no one takes responsibility for it. HORRIBLE!

Ok so I went to hellotech so I could get my tv mounted the same day I moved in and not have to wait like 2 week for the geeksquad to do it and the guy was very nice but literally the same night that he installed it I could see I start to fall off the wall luck I caught it before it fell all the way so naturally I asked for my money back and they said that they would be happy to once they got pictures of my wall and it has been over two weeks I have talked to 9 different people and I still have not gotten my money back I wish I could give them negative stars

They failed to show up or contact me. I contacted the chat service on HelloTech site twice and both times I was told that the support staff would contact me. They have not.
I had 2 ring wired cameras I needed installed. They told me they could do it the next day sometime between noon-8pm.At 6pm the next day I got an email saying I needed to give them 2additional days that they could do it. I gave them 2more dates. Same thing happened. I canceled the order and was told that the $225.50 they had put a hold on at my bank would be refunded. It's been 3weeks and it's still not been done. I wouldn't recommend dealing with this company.
