Our technician saved the day as the first tech scheduled was not available. Nizar came on time, was very professional, communicative and worked hard and fast. He listened an carried out our wishes to hang the tv on our wall. He went above and beyond helping move furniture back in place. Can't say enough good things about Nizar!
Don't provide invoices. Customer service useless, both chat and on phone. I have sent three requests for an invoice to be emailed to me. Tech was here over a week ago and still no invoice.
After 4 rescheduled and cancelled "appointments" the tech finally showed up. Excited and ready to finally get the job done I took him to the room where the TV was ordered for mounting. He proceeded to ask me where the mounting equipment was. Perplexed, I told him I paid for that to be
Installed including the mounting equipment. He said he was sorry and there was nothing he could do.
Here I am now, two weeks later and 5 total cancels and reschedules. I've put aside so much time for this to be done. I'll just do it myself.
They must be filtering out bad reviews off websites to fluff their rating. Because I'd rather go to the DMV 2 days in a row, then work with HelloTech ever again.
I've been plagued with printer problems. For the first one Steven came and repaired it, but later the same day it crashed again. I returned it to the North Seattle Office Depot and asked for a refund, but it was denied because I didn't have the credit card used for the purchase - it had been stolen and I had cancelled it. I won't shop there again. I bought a new printer elsewhere and hired Hello Tech again. John came this time and did the installation, which took several hours because there were complications that hadn't been addressed previously or had surfaced since Steven's visit. I'm a computer dunce, so it's great, and a relief, to discover Hello Tech.:-)
He called when he pulled up out front and introduced himself. He was very happy, obviously loves his job and knowledgeable. I thought the tv should be placed up higher on the wall but with Skylar's explanation it made perfect sense and since I'm watching tv now I'm glad I listened to the expert.
If you think you are paying only a fee for one month think again! It a yearly billing. So 12 monthly payments. You can not opt out until a year. So if you only had one issue it is cheaper to go to a professional than pay these crooks!

They keep missing appointments. Definitely not a NEST PRO. They are recommended by Nest but they can't find a tech within a 100 mile radius that can install anything. They need to be removed from Google's list of approved vendors.
We were charged multiple times and for a cancellation fee we didn't agree to after a tech claimed he couldn't complete the job because of electrical which was inaccurate and untrue. The company wanted to send another tech out but because we can't agree to the time frame they tried to charge a cancellation fee. We will be refunded for all of it (hopefully) but nonetheless it is held from our account in the meantime. It was a giant waste of time and inconvenience and our camera still is not installed. We are going with a different company.

They told me someone would text or email on my appointment. That never happened waited for hours and no response. Waited until the next day again no response. Finally I called and was told don't know what happened.
Technician came to help me retrieve my pictures from an older computer. He couldn't get the computer to boot, so he removed the hard drive. He asked for what device I wanted the pictures copied to and I showed him a brand new portable hard drive. He said he would need to do the work elsewhere. So he left with both. A month later, having heard nothing, I called. They said they would look into it. Called back another week later. They said they would review and contact the technician. Now they are saying the technician says he never took the hard drives and since I can't prove it, they will not reimburse me for the service or the stolen device. I am out the service fee and have no hope of ever getting my pictures or the brand new portable drive back. These people are simple thieves.
My first experience with Hello Tech was great! The young man was on time and very pleasant. He went right to work on setting up my new TV and stand. He showed me how to use the remote and how to get to all of the features on the TV. He also put the functions that I use in one place together so it's very easy to use. I am very happy with Hello Tech.
I hired HelloTech to help install a home security system. The first technician canceled on the day of the appointment, not long before he was supposed to arrive, saying he hadn't realized how far away we were from him. Then I tried multiple times to rebook the appointment with other technicians, and yet another one canceled on the day. Finally one did show up, but he didn't install the system correctly and it soon stopped working. HelloTech promised to refund me and then did not, so I disputed the transaction with my credit card company and they resolved it in my favor. I would not use this company again.

Appointment no show, I Had an appointment for 9:00 tech didn't show tech or call. Called the company not satisfied at all and tried to reschedule. The guy who took my call (the agent) had an attitude for some reason

They said $99 per device is their normal rate but with membership it's $69. The ring devices barely cost $99.

The technician was very nice, dressed professional. Was on time, however that is the only thing I can say good about my experience. I wanted a TV hung on the wall, conceal the wires. TV was hung but he couldn't conceal the wires, after cutting several holes in my wall he finally admitted he couldn't do it. After five hours he gave up, apologize and left with the job not finished. I will stop watching TV before I ever call this company again. Don't use them.
The technician installed the SimpliSafe system with low batteries and said I needed to call for new batteries. I called after he left and was told to remove each and every battery for 15 seconds so it would work. The adhesive strips he used all lost its grip in a month and the sensors and alarm box crashed to the floor. I had previously installed the door bell camera and he charged me for the installation because he needed to scan the bell into the system and that counted as an installation because he had to pop it off and back on again.
The person who installed my computer was good. I did not know that there was a monthly service charge of 19.99 until it came out of my account in march. The first charge was in january no problem the second in march. Thats when it says its a yearly charge and I can cancel. I do not need the service and have not used it so I stopped payment.
Made appointment to have two flat screen TVs wall mounted. They took my credit card info and then we went back and forth for two weeks regarding scheduling. I eventually said they could come "anytime" and I still got texts messages saying they couldn't locate a tech. The call center was a foreign worker with an extremely heavy accent and not easy to understand, on top of acting clueless as to the entire process. I live 15 minutes outside of Dubuque, find it odd they could find no service tech in the area. I finally gave up and will hire a local contractor as I don't trust HelloTech at all.
Javon was great. Very professional, pleasant and respectful. Was all business, quickly performing his task of putting up the heavy/tilting/rotating wall mount, the sound bar mounting system and attaching the flat screen and sound bar. Would request him and contact HelloTech for our next home technology project. From the time I made my request to the time the job was completed was just 1 day.R
Assigned tech messaged out of no where and told me that I'm getting this work done for cheap and its not worth his time. At first, I didn't choose the tech and also I'm not the one who decided the price for TV mounting. Also he told me that he will cancel the appointment if his mood is not right.

I was very pleased with Hello Tech. George, my technician, responded within two hours of my request, and we were able to schedule an appointment within a few days. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and he did a thorough job connecting my TVs to the internet. I will happily refer Hello Tech to my friends.
They asked for pictures and told me there would be no additional charges. When the technician got here he said there were additional charges and wanted me to approve them without knowing how much they would be. This company is a big scam they lie about the charges then hit you up when the technician gets there. I would not recommend them to anyone. I called Walmart and told them they are scamming their customers. My installation cost more than my 65 inch TV.
So, after taking a day off to be available for them, they cancel my appointment 2 hours before they're scheduled to arrive. ( this was on a Friday)
Then they text and mail me constantly for anew date / time for a different tech, which I can't reply to on the weekend, so they cancel my order all together.
If there technician service is as bad as their customers service, I think I dodged a bullet. I'll go find someone else to do the the work
My suspicion is that the tech canceled because he was planning to take an approach I considered unacceptable ( eg, punching holes in the house to run cable outside, rather than fishing a line through the attic to get from one room to another). I was clear in a pre-visit call, that if they couldn't do the work correctly, I'd find someone who would.
I've added this company to the list of people I won't consider for any work in the future.
Was told the price would be $160.00, for two nest cam IQ outdoor installations. "Installer" showed up, with barely any tools, no ladder. Needed to use my drill, my drill bits, my ladder. Had no protective clothing, nothing covering his shoes. Then proceeded to tell me that a "second installation" would be an additional $75, CASH. Ended up installing the cameras where I did not want, left my brick outside my house damaged, left the inside of my house a mess, and required my help, when I stated the only reason I'm paying to have them installed is because I injured my back and couldn't do it myself. These cameras are set up for my disabled wife, and this guy is shaking me down for extra pocket money.
Worst service ever. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
