Hobby Lobby location in Englewood, CO.
I recently made a purchase at Hobby Lobby for a few Christmas projects. When I got home and looked at my receipt, I was immediately aware that I had been charged for an item that I DID NOT buy. I returned to the store today to get the situation corrected and receive a refund for that item for $7.99. The employee at the checkout was not permitted ti make that correction for me and called for the manager. When that manager, Kerri H., came to the register, she literally grabbed my receipt out of the cashiers hand and said, "Well we're going to look at the cameras", without even so much as looking at or addressing me at all. FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER, she came back to the register. Her first words were, "You bought a set of Christmas lights or an extension cord, right?" No, I did not. And again she said, You bought some Christmas lights or extension cord'. Again, I responded, "No, I did NOT buy either one of those things, nor do I need either one of those things". Kerri told me what else was on my receipt and said that "the camera showed me purchasing lights or extension cord". NO I DID NOT! Why was she accusing me?
Just exactly how many times do I have to answer her accusations, let alone be treated SO RUDELY for simply asking for my my money to be returned for an item I DID NOT PURCHASE? I am a VERY frequent customer of Hobby Lobby. Ever since Hobby Lobby discontinued their 40% coupon, I have noticed a drastic change, not only with lack of inventory and obvious lack of crowds of customers, but it is also very obvious to many customers that the staff is very unfriendly and outright rude to customers. Finding an employee willing to help you find something without watching their eyes roll to the back of their face is non-existent now. Hobby Lobby isn't the only game in town. There are several other crafting stores to spend my money at. I don't expect to be treated better than any other customer, but I DO insist on respect and professionalism, every step of the way. My personal experience today with Manager Kerri H. Was shamefully inappropriate.
Nasty attitudes from employees at store 296 in High Point NC, very unsatisfied with my experience….!
I used to love going to Hobby Lobby so much easily spending an hour or more going up and down their isles with big smiles on my face. It was a happy place for me but sadly it will no longer be a place where I'll be spending anymore of my money. I've easily dropped $100,$200 even $500 at times in spending sprees. Today after spending 50 bucks in the morning time and then an additional almost $300 with my husband in the evening due to a sale they were having and we had security called several times the cops were on line one several times. They also requested "LP" come to the front of the store. Well in the meantime we had gone to check out and paid for our stuff and I didn't think twice about the stuff said on loudspeaker in store because I wasn't doing anything wrong and when I went to leave the store with my bagged up items in my cart as my husband was at the register getting our PAID receipt handed to him the lp lady embarrassingly "blocked me" not allowing me to leave the store. She told me I wasn't allowed to leave the store until she sees the receipt and she had to literally check the receipt to make sure that all the items were on there it was humiliating and embarrassing and I will never step foot back in a hobby lobby again after that experience and I will be telling everybody I know about it and asking them to boycott hobby lobby as well I'm considering calling the news stations as well. I have never stolen anything from hobby lobby in my life, I am very angry at how I was treated after spending the money I spent there today. So it's sad that they do this sort of thing even after she knew we paid for everything she was still rude to us both we were very upset. I'm considering returning all I purchased for full refund as I don't want to support a store that has policies that are directed towards innocent people trying to financially support their business. What's ironic is that while she was so focused on harassing us for no good cause an actual shop lifter apparently made off with some stolen goods. Normally I would be upset someone had stolen from the store since it negatively affects us all but I had to laugh this once because it was so ironic and thought serves you right hobby lobby you pick on the honest loyal customer (well once loyal cause now I'm done with them) letting the person committing the crime walk free and escape.
I'm so disappointed in Hobby Lobby at 4279 Lien Rd in Madison, Wisconsin. Our family has shopped at Hobby Lobby for approximately 23 years. Would not help us after requesting we send photos and making us go out of our way. The restrooms are never clean here either. We will shop at Michael's instead.
Answer: This shop reeks of racism. I will be using Michaels. Thank you
Answer: Unethically legit. HL really needs to evaluate their own marketing plan and step up their hiring practices in addition to stop buying B2B products from outside mass production sources. At least look at the quality before sticking and reselling total garbage. And ask yourselves "why are our employees so miserable"? Unhealthy culture = unhappy customers.
Answer: I have never been to Winston-Salem in North Carolina.
