I've bought from these guys many times now. Well worth it. Much cheaper than anything that we have available in Australia. Customer service is great - Sommer sorted all of my queries and added in my last minute extras. The only thing that annoys me about this site is the distribution restrictions on some brands but I'm not sure that it's so much a fault of hockeymonkey's but rather the actual brand owners. I had a custom jersey made (not the authentic one just the replica) and it turned out great. It's obviously got a different feel to it than the authentic ones but it's less than half of the price which is nice.
Ordered a red CCM stick arrived on time ish I opened the box and got a black and grey Bauer vapor stick wrong size to.
Ran out of the shoulder pads I wanted so was offered another cheaper set for THE SAME PRICE! Then they ran out of these pads and haven't contacted me back, so the equipment I need in a weeks time must be collecting dust in a warehouse somewhere.
I ordered a 300 stick last Monday Dec 9th 2019. Tried calling several times yesterday due to no tracking number given or delivery. Sat in line on hold to talk to someone for an hour never got anyone. Called again this am and basically got nowhere. Just we will give you an update when we have an answer? This is unacceptable. Not only should it have been here by now it hasn't even shipped! I want to cancel my order since hasn't shipped and they said no because they are not sure it hasn't shipped? Again no tracking number its went out! One guy ( drew) said I can Cancel and the other online ( jordan) said no I cant. If an item is late and still hasn't been shipped & arrived by the time frame give me my money back! So they are holding my money and not delivering my item on time or are unsure even when ill get it! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING! You will get zero customer service or support. My suggestion was to get that item out on a 2 day ship asap... no response... crickets... Seriously 300.000 isnt enough money spent to get some support or correct your mistake on not shipping the item yet?

I will never order from this company again. I ordered on Black Friday and got shipping confirmation and tracking number in an email. The order never shipped and ended up going back to HockeyMonkey. I called and asked why. They said UPS said I never picked up the order. The order was supposed to be delivered to my house! I never knew it was even at a UPS hub. I asked them to re-ship it overnight so I would have in time for my family Christmas and they said it would cost me $43.00. I said "no way!" it's not my fault it didn't get delivered to me! They said they could ship it regular for free. I said go ahead. I still do not have this order and it's been another week. 2 phone calls and no one has returned my call. I finally got through again and the person said it's shipping out today but won't have a tracking number until tomorrow. This means it never shipped out last week when they said it would. If I hadn't called it probably never would have shipped! Horrible, horrible, horrible. I'm not holding my breath on getting this order any time soon. My next step will be asking for my money back from my bank!
On Saturday, February 1 I ordered a pair of skates through hockeymonkey.com. I got a UPS tracking number on Monday but it never updated and I called both UPS and hockeymonkey on Thursday February 6. I was told by a hockeymonkey customer service rep that the skates were loaded onto the truck on February 3rd at 11:30. I was told by UPS that they never received the package but to call back if I didn't receive it by the end of the day on Friday February 7. The package never arrived and I called both companies back. I was then informed that UPS would start and investigation which could take up to 8 business days. When I called hockeymonkey I was informed that they would not do anything until the UPS investigation was complete. The reason I ordered new skates was because the blade on my previous pair, which were also bought from hockeymonkey.com, broke. Both. UPS and hockeymonkey put the blame on the other company but neither company stepped up and did the right thing for the customer and that is very disappointing. Unless something changes quickly, you have lost a long time loyal customer due to poor customer service from Angela, the supervisor in customer service.
Bought a 40 inch CCM bag from hockey monkey, 3rd use mesh corners tear out, hockey monkey will only back the warranty if I assume all shipping costs, that doubles the cost of the bag to me, not worth it, complain to CCM and they are shipping me a new bag and a return shipping label, exchange will be done at no cost to me and surprise surprise, the UPC from the bag dosent match anything in CCM's inventory? Either hockey monkey ordered it special or they are selling knock offs, I won't do business with them any more
Some of the most shockingly bad customer service I have had in a long time. I talked to a customer service rep on the phone when buying a nice hockey stick and they told me I needed to buy a "left" blade even though I am right handed and shoot right handed. The woman's reasoning was that "left" means that the stick curves to the left when looking at it while holding it. I knew this sounded odd, but I figured the customer service rep of a place that sells hockey equipment would know better than I.
WOW was I wrong. Not only did they send me a stick meant for a left handed player, they want me to pay $5 PLUS $18 to ship it back and then another $16 for them to ship me one. THAT IS MORE THAN THE STICK COSTS. I called and talked to several customer service reps and after presenting my case, the manager offered to give me a measly 10% discount if I wanted to buy another stick from them. The nerve on these people! They obviously have no idea what it means to treat their customers with respect

Terrible customer service. Everything is fine until you have a problem. I purchased an expensive pair of Bauer inline skates from them. The outsoles cracked during the warranty period. I sent them pictures, but they told me I would have to send the skates to them to determine if they would be covered under warranty, and if not, I would have to pay return shipping. I wasn't happy, but I was confident they would be covered under warranty so I sent the skates in following their return instructions to the letter. When they received the skates, they agreed they would be covered under warranty. Then they told me I would have to pay $100 because I didn't send in the original wheels. I told them the original wheels were worn out and long gone, but if their instruction had mentioned anything I would have sent an old pair. They insisted that I had to pay $100. Then the supervisor tried to tell me they needed to send the skates back to Bauer with wheels. They don't send anything back to Bauer, Bauer gives them a credit on their purchases to cover warranty returns. So the money is basically coming from their bottom line and they will do whatever they can to keep it. I have spent thousands of dollars at this store and this was my first problem. Needless to say, they won't be getting any more of my business.
They sent me a email saying I was a loyal customer and I would be able to access black Friday sales early. So I ordered a pair at 400 dollar skates which I thought was the black Friday price. Once I recieved the skates the black Friday sale came out and they were 306 dollars on the actaul black Friday sale. I called and spoke to several customer service reps who basically told me I was screwed and there was nothing they were willing to do to fix this issue. Even though I'm a loyal customer right? There only resolution was for me to ship them the skates back at my expense and re order which wouldnt even work cause they were sold out of my size at this point and would not hold these skates to send back to me. Also I was told the managers were not willing to talk to me when I requested to speak to one. Worst customer service I have ever recieved. Will be taking my business some where else and I recommend you do the same. Also Drew was the person I delt with and he was rude and has zero customer service skills. Also he lied and said a manager wasnt in the office to talk to me in the begging of the conversation which was a lie cause later he admitted they were there but they refused to talk to me. At this point I'm returning the skates and they would rather loose the sale then offer me the discount I should have recieved. Horrible experience
I ordered two hockey sticks for my son on 7/28 always get recording says they are closed sent two emails it is 8/8 and no response. Not happy

HOCKEY MONKEY IS THE WORST
So just recently i ordered a pair of skates from this company and they sent me the right Bauer skates but used ones that someone clearly returned and Hockey Monkey restocked for shipment. I called customer service who the rep admitted to me that they have an issue with this older warehouse in California. I followed directions and took the pics and sent them back to the company. 3 Days later the supervisor Danielle says we check all boxes with our cameras before they leave the warehouse. Then tells me we did it right and did not mess up and it must have took place in shipping in UPS. Hockey is a expensive sport and they should not treat people this way and now i am at a loss of money and skates with no answers from this company besides take it up with your Credit Card Company and have a nice day. I have been playing and coaching for 30 years and i miss my local skate shop this madness how they treat us and we need to all step up and do something about it. Play Hockey and play hard ***** Avoid hockey monkey and monkey sports

I ordered a couple jerseys for my hockey team, spending well over 100 dollars. I order the jerseys 3 weeks in advance of my first league game. I called a week after placing my order, to just have a color changed of the lettering. Which wasn't a problem because they hadn't even started on the jerseys. A week before my game I called back to check on my order after I was sent a notification that my jerseys was done and was shipping. They told me that they still hadn't started on my jersey and that the jerseys wouldn't be here until after my first game. So, I told them that I needed them by my first game. So, I was told that my shipping would be upped and that they would get them to me by the Friday before my game. After receiving my shipping notification, I realized that the jerseys were being shipped UPS Ground and not at a faster rate like I was told. I then made a call into the business and was assured that the jerseys would be there the Friday before my game. My jerseys didn't arrive until after my first game, of course. So, I call them and I request a full refund for my Jerseys. Since I had stressed out and had to call them several times just for them to openly lie to me and refuse to give their information. I was hung up on and told, after asking to speak to a supervisor that there were no supervisors and that the gentleman I was talking to was in fact the highest ranking person in the company. They offered to give 20ish dollars back on my 150ish dollar order. Bringing me to a dead end.
Did not honor a cyber week promotion, poor customer service when I called the week after. I will not be using again.
Ordered a Medium helmet, should have plenty of room with size stated, wasn't even close. Charged me for shipping back.

I showed Hockey Monkey exactly what happened, what was wrong with the jersey and why I was so upset. Now I speak to a customer service supervisor and she gives me the option of returning it to get it fixed for a small fee. Okay fine, I'll return it and in the mean time I went out of my way to get the 43 Years of History/Tradition of Ice patch that the Islanders are wearing to commemorate their last year at the Coliseum. I send the patch to Hockey Monkey so they can put that on as theyre fixing the jersey.
I send the jersey back along with the patch and a photo I emailed them showing exactly where the patch should be placed on the Jersey. About a month passes by and today I get the jersey back and this is what I find when I open up the package [HOCKEY MONKEY Part 2](http://imgur.com/a/OFH1n).
I will never use Hockey Monkey again; I don't even trust them to fix this issue even though they offered. I won't accept anything but a full refund for screwing up again.
Don't use Hockey Monkey for getting any NHL jersey customized. It's just pure incompetence throughout that entire company and if you do just exercise extreme caution.
