Unprofessional, j informative, different agents, different answers, got the impression Home Safe was unwilling to pay the claim and I was never reimbursed
O Dave t said claim would definitely be paid upon receiving certain information, when I emailed it in and thought I was done they now requested photos, when I sent In photos and thought they had all required information next request was an expense Neal test,II had zero confidence in your company and did not want to pay out any further money so I paid my repair I’ll out of pocket

HomeSafe refused to pay for most of the claim, saying that part of the claim is not covered; when by my contract it is clearer covered.
All they would say was it wasn’t covered. No help whatsoever:
Cost. I didn’t do my proper due diligence and to at their reviews.

I was glad I had the HomeSafe
Coverage when I found a water pipe in the kitchen wall was leaking. A plumber was notified and on the scene within 3 hours.
I wanted my home to have a Home Warranty to cover unexpected problems and failures.

HomeSafe helped me with my A/C Problems after a long drown out affair. My garbage disposal recently went out and I called HomeSafe to make a claim because that was an item on the list that was approved to be replaced. While talking to the customer service rep, I was told that I would have to have a certified licensed technician to give me an estimate on cost of repair or replacement. The problem with this issue is that I had already replaced the garbage disposal switch thinking that was the problem but it wasn't. I hit the reset button on the bottom of the disposal and that still wasn't the problem so the only thing left was that the disposal was broken. I was willing to do the replacement myself and send them a copy of the receipt for reimbursement but that wasn't good enough for them. What they were telling me in so many words is that I would have to hire a technician first then he would send them a report detailing the problem. The cost of hiring a licensed technician far out ways the cost of doing it myself so I told them to forget about the claim and CANCEL my policy because it was a joke. If I had to hire someone everytime something broke then I would be broke. Do yourself a favor and read the fineprint closely before choosing a company like this.

My experience was very good. Home shield replaced my washing machine due to parts not available for the repair of the old one.
I also have car shield protection.

There are several things that you do not cover, and I found a company that does, so I cancelled my coverage.
They did answer my questions and confirmed that the service I will be needing is NOT covered. This helped me decide to change companies.
