Bought a brand new kraton 1/8 6s BLX. First run 10 minutes in and the center diff exploded. No fluid was in the diff, bone dry. Week 3 of trying to contact horizon and get parts but no one answers their emails I guess. Also no number to call. Now I got a 600 paper weight.

I have been buying my planes from HH for years now as well as a few helis, drones, cars, trucks and other thinks. The quality is always great and the customer service is amazing. I've only had to contact them twice and both times the issue was resolved without any hassle. Every plane I buy from them has arrived at my house in two days. I have no complaints about them and recommend them.

I bought a brand new Arrma Vendetta and straight from the box it had problems. The car would not run for more than 2 minutes at a time before I would lose steering and acceleration. Took back to the hobby store and it worked for the 15 minutes I used it. I bought this out of state, when I got back home it was doing the same thing. Contacted horizon and they basically told me tough luck because I could not find the receipt. Any fool could tell it was brand new and all I wanted was for it to get fixed. Was not looking for a refund but I will never buy from horizon again.
Great Business! I have been buying from this company for a few years and I'm surprised there are no reviews up here yet. I guess when things are operating smooth there are few complaints. They have excellent technical support for all of there products.
I've read the positive and negative reviews on different sites about Tower/Verizion hobbies,so they were at least $50 cheaper for this Team Associated RTR truck combo then their nearest competitor so I took a chance despite the negative reviews and my experience was excellent I received a email after contacting horizons customer service same day voicing some concerns I read,customer service said no need to worry cause my truck shipped already and I also received it in 3 days vis FedEx extremely satisfied with Tower Verizon hobbies,thank u

Sent in all my electronics for my vslisnt that smashed on maiden flight due to a fault flap servo. Being sick in hospital my gf mailed out parts it's been months. They say don't have. Then they may have found it to we need tracking number.it was mailed regular mail padded envelope with return address. I explained that 5 x. Now I'm out a 200 dollar plane I saved up for 4 most. I was until recently Horizons biggest fan or it would be o.Bought 3 1.2 and 2 1.5. The seam is terrible and I sent pic. They said that's normal and can do nothing.
Promise of veterans discount, verified by ID.me. They still charge me shipping. Tried contacting them, useless. I've learned the hard way. Hard earned money gone.
Parts and items usually on back order with not ETA, My last order, I was told it was shipped, there was no tracking number, after 2 weeks, the order never came, then they changed their story and opened an inquiry.

Terrible technicians and customer service.
Purchased a new umx turbo timber at Horizon Hobby Europe.
First flight it lost connection to the receiver and crashed. Thought it was a one time issue. Third flight it lost connection in 20 meter height and uncontrollable went nose down into the ground.
I have the same transmitter running on
10 planes. No issues.
Did researched that this plane has transmitter issues and sent it for 35 Euros self paid to Horizon.
They told me that the receiver cannot be tested because its too damaged.
And offered 50 percent off a new turbo timber. Meanwhile the price of that plane got 40 percent higher on their website.
Then they suddenly said the receiver is working?!? I bet they never tested it.
Its a joke, any reasonable company issues a full refund if they ship a damaged product.
I had a broken heli and airplane from Banggood and they issued a full refund and shipping for both.
Shame on Horizon. Never again

So I ordered it EDF jet from these people last night at about 11:00 p.m. I found out very quickly that I wanted to order a different one so I was going to cancel it and get store credit. I called 9:00 a.m. the next morning so 10 hours and 10 hours were all overnight between Sunday and Monday. So I'm sure there was nobody working or anything, and they could not cancel my order they claimed. Somehow it'd been in this system that they can't control and despite them still having the product at their warehouse, the person told me that they have to still ship it to me which I had to pay for, then I'm going to have to pay to ship it back to them in order to return it. The absurdity of the situation is incomprehensible, why are companies run by these systems that they can't control I mean who's in charge of human or the system? Anyway, the customer service person I talked with was less than helpful and they could do nothing except send me instructions on how to return it which I can read on their website anyway so that's kind of a pointless email. I'm not sure why they would do this other than they are hoping that once I get it I'll just decide not to return it cuz I don't want to pay the return shipping. Cuz it's going to be expensive to ship back to them, I know that because I'm paying for it to them for them to ship it to me. Even though they still have it in their possession right now they're still going to ship it to me just so I can ship it back to them. So instead of getting store credit I'm going to get a refund and I would not recommend this website to anyone. If they're not competent enough to cancel an order 9 hours after it was made on the weekend then it's impossible to cancel an order and they're just going to force you to pay shipping twice and help you keep it instead of returning it.

I had a awful experience with HORIZON HOBBY. I bought a blade 350qx3 ap combo. Had lots of flights, took thousands of pictures. About 3 months of having it, the blade 350qx3 ap combo just felt into the ground. Broke a arm, esc and the camera. Called costumer service and told what happened, i was instructed by the costumer service representative to plug it in into the computer to see what happened. I told the representative that i would buy the new body and the esc, but the camera is very expensive since it was a malfunction of the quad. Explain that i would change the body and the esc. 2 days after called again, spoke with a different representative, he instructed me to send it in, so i did. 2 1/2weeks later i got a call from HORIZON HOBBY saying that would be more expensive to repair than buy a new one! They offered me 30% off the price to buy a new one. It should be covered by warranty. About a month with my quad there, i asked to send back the broken one after many emails and complaints. I complained on BBB, got same response that i had on emails and calls. Funny thing is, i did not close the complaint, requested the record phone calls that i have made to Horizon Hobby, the complaint got closed. This is very frustrating and inconvenient for me after spent almost $800,00 on a company that doesnt stand behind the warranty. Manipulates for they own benefit.
