I spent over $1200 on a VPS hosting account and I have had nothing but problems for days. Nothing works out of the box and this is supposed to be a premium hosting account. My old Platinum reseller account was a breeze to work with and it is supposedly older technology. I can't even install a simple Wordpress website without multiple errors in this Snappy account. Load speeds for my website and working with an FTP client is a nightmare, with the slowest server I've ever experienced from any hosting. I'm extremely disappointed and worried about future websites I need to install. I've spent countless hours with customer support and no one can fully resolve my issues. They say they've resolved the problems, then the next support rep finds a new issue that I assumed was fixed.

I trust in Hostgator, I have found it reliable over the years.

HostGator is a good platform for hosting though we have not used the platform as should be used because our products are still in preparation. We have used it appropriately in the past before shutting down the previous website and there were no issues
We had some issues adding a new site ajogba.com which is still under construction. Recourse to customer service was helpful in resolving the problems
We saw HostGator ad and we plugged in and found it as advertised

I've been with Hostgator for many years. The new panel is awful - missing half of what I routinely use, obscure with the rest. In particular I can find no way to cancel a redundant SSL and it's really pissing me off. Additionally, some of our sites began to fail because you added an automated WordPress core update, then switched it on without telling anybody, and then it worked like crap, not updating all files, thus rendering the sites unstable. Garbage.

I started HostGator with recommendations from another user way back 10+ years ago. You have helped me in many situations probably more lately than before. Today I am grateful for the upgraded servers and PHP. Thank you

Email often has problems. Recently we can not receive some emails from our existing customers. We can not identify how many we did not receive.
The last time was one year and a half ago.

Because of Website Builder, but you took it away and now I can't use it. Bait and switch! That's illegal in California! Then you increase the rate by double each year for my hosting package! Bad company practice! But, your parent company was fined millions for fraud, so it's expected from HostGator now!

The new back office is absolutely terrible. Counter intuitive. And substantially less easy to navigate that the previous back office. I'm astonished that this release was authorized. I'm not the only one. Many of my friends are even thinking of leaving HostGator due to the level of frustration it has caused.

The new design is awful. I must now spend way too much time trying to find simple things like cPanel and settings like name servers. Seems like a lot of extra steps have been added, none of which are intuitive. If I were new at this, I still don't think it would be easy to find anything.

You keep changing the Portal interface. You don't make it better - just different. And it still doesn't work on mobile devices? Maybe 20 years of smartphones is not long enough for HostGator to figure it out yet.

Recent experiences with "help" was atrocious. Took 3+ days to resolve a security issue. I do not feel valued as a customer. Also, issues with your billing page, which for some odd reason will NOT display the prices of items. I feel overall that since joining HostGator the quality has declined rather dramatically.

I chose host gator 11 years ago and you're revamping up. Your website for billing is quite confusing now it used to be some what intuitive. Your pricing is going up significantly and so I see the same hair as being made by a host gator that a majority of the companies out there make. I'm sure due to revenue growth requirements for your investors Is what's driving the price increases and diminished customer service. I think you might want to take a stronger. Look at what brought you to this point in time where you are successful. When I first joined you wear a start up it's far as I knew. Having been a customer of years for 12 years, there are times where I think about switching service to another upstart who might have better pricing and better customer service. I hope this feedback was informative

Prices. Reviews. Familiarity. Ease of setup. Have had some issues, but my hosts keep getting absorbed into larger hosts and each time the quality and service drops precipitously. Please don't go the same way.

Hello. I have had a lot of problems in the last week being able to send emails from the domains that I have hosted on my hosting account. Everything indicates that the SMTP server associated with my account has problems. But it could not be solved. Yesterday I tried to use the support service through live chat, but in the area where I live we suffered from a power outage. So it hasn't been solved yet. Now the problem is added that I cannot access the websites of each domain that I have hosted on my hosting.

6 and 1/2 weeks of pathetic email tech "service" and "support" from HG...many phone calls and many chats trying to resolve a MAJOR problem with my reply emails that were not working since the new year! How embarrassing for all those in tech "services"...who cares, right? Payday is Thursday and as long as the paycheck don't bounce...Thanks HG for paying attention to a PAYING customer. Oh and have a nice day

Back in 2004 because you had fast servers, great service and were unique in the market. Lots has changed since then. In Sep. 2023 you have raised the prices by 60%+ on many customers with no prior notice and you're not even willing to fix issues that have been going on for years now. It's sad. I would not choose you again, unless you up your game and lower your prices again.

After finally getting email forwarding back after three months of it being broken, they dropped our windows hosting account with no warning, no opportunity to renew. HostGator sucks. Do not use, do not recommend.

I have been informed that I am unable to downgrade my package by one of the support staff, despite there being articles on the Hostgator website telling me that it is possible. https://www.hostgator.com/help/article/how-do-i-downgrade-my-hosting-account

Previous provider all of the sudden sucked. After many years of great service started having problems and customer service turned to complete $#*!.
Did an on-line search and HostGator was highly recommended by whatever search I did. And, so far so good. Everything has been as it should be.

Over a month with unresolved issues. Majority of reps did the bare minimum to resolve situation. Multiple support tickets were closed without verification of a resolution. Last rep that assisted me (DAN) went above and beyond to resolve the matter and succeeded.

Customer Service from overseas (Indian names) is terrible. I was left 5 days with no access to my account pending verification (after being a client of 3 years. I sent many emails and called many times, it took 5 days to get it resolved.

The level of customer service has gone down a lot. We are always talking to people that do not have access to more technical information when requested. You do not offer 24/7 tech support, real tech support, not just someone who answers phones.

If I don't want to pay for a service, you must no insist. And seems to be to take advantage from your customers to expose freely our personal contact information.
Other thing is that I just have just 3 pages but appear repeated more, and I can't cancel them
