Hostgator turned off "catchall" on my windows shared account, which immediately caused me to stop receiving ALL of my emails! I have been with Hostgator for over 6 years - so even if you changed the policy to not support catchall feature, you should have informed all users that you will turn it off so that won't suddenly loose their emails!

Twice in the past couple years I've tried to use HostGator and both times my account gets locked and I get stuck in some weird loop of "Account verification". I pay my bill, yet I can't use the service or manage anything. I had HostGator years ago back in like 2009 and always swore by them but this reoccurring issue has got me really considering switching. I can't even manage my new businesses site :/

The new set up in the my account area is horrible The fact that it shows the websites under hosting too and then I have softalicious sites, keeps over lapping or something. I keep losing my sites. I can not work on them in file manager or even find plugin manager in wordpress anymore either. I am chancing host next month.

Bad security and bad support.
All the hosts i use are infected and you keep saying that i should subscribe to an antivirus service, knowing that i'm deleting the whole content and the issues keep persists!
I suggest not to ask people about their opinion because we all believe that it will change nothing in your quallity of service.
I'm a customer since 3 years and keep suffering!

Three times, I suddenly lost access to my website, domain and emails without notice and after contacted them there were no clear explanation on why this happened. I have contacted Hostgator three times and I always I got a bromis that it will be solved after two days or so but no progress. 767 USD is withdrawn from my account for a service that I never asked for and without my agreement, which they paid back but after effort. They did not respond to emails or some telephones but they do well to chat.

Best web hosting services around and best priced. Also their customer service is 24/7 and they have a amazing team of highly intelligent individuals that work for them. They hear from me quite a bit but they work any issue that I have out I'm a matter of minutes.

I have credit card charges that don't have invoices. I've contacted support three times already and can't get this sorted out. Also, I have invoices with wrong details on them. I've asked for this to be fixed but have been told that invoices that have already ben generated cannot be changed. This is total nonsense.

You have the option to create your own website and don't have to spend way too much. Great pricing structure for sure. I also liked the emphasis put on how there is good customer service support, have that available to you fast. That is very important.

I thought it was a good choice, but instead of a stable service we received almost a month of websites full of errors, just now it appears that the sites are working fine, but no one mailed me to tell me the fix is already done.

If possible i would have given No Star rating.
The online service is deplorable and so time consuming.
The Chats close down before they solve issues.
The new Chats don't have the previous info so I have had to repeat my issue 3 consecutive times. And still my issue of your domain needing updating is still not resolved

Because it used to be the best hosting provider for the money, but recently it keeps breaking my websites for no reson. This is the third time in a short period I have to contact support. They fix it but then in the next day is offline again without us making any changes. Sad to say.

I've been dealing with a virus that I keep getting even though I have SiteLock paid for, for another year. I had to hire an outside source to remove the virus because Hostgator wanted to charge me over 700.00 to take care of the virus. Since I don't have root access we can't kill the PHP server on our own. I've dealt with support and Manage who are unable to take care of it. I'm now in the process of switching to another Hosting company.

They do not have the updated PHP version in my account, I should have at least the version to choose from 8.1 but I only have version 7.4 and that means that my page is not secure due to its poor management, I have been paying for years and they do not update my version.

You are horrible. Three chats to solve a simple issue, fix details of an invoice. And what is worst, it seems I speak to the walls, not to humans.

I was in the market for a new host because my old host had become unreliable and problematic for emails. HostGator was comparable in price and features and was represented by good reports of reliability. Other than a few bits of confusion during my transition to HostGator, things have been good. Email reliability has been great.

For someone who is trying to manage multiple logons/domains, the billing is terrible. Emailed receipts offer no information as to what it's for, and the 'renewal center' doesn't tell you much. It takes so much of my day trying to decipher these things. I can't imagine this is accidental because it's so bad it has to be intentional to create confusion.

The instructions for the various things in your help section are not descriptive enough. I think you, as well as any company with a help section, by looking at the company Blue Iris's help section. A complete novice can use it to master their product. Tha'ts how it should always be.

The color choice is very unengaging, and I don't say this to be rude.
