On firefox I was unable to log in to the control panel. The login page refused to recognize my email address and would not put up a password input. Is this because I am running uBlock Origin on firefox? You should not be using advertising cruft during admin login.

I gave you 2 stars. Now i'm gonna give you 1 star I just dont feel like going back and changing it. It is very unfortunate but it seems like you guys are losing touch with reality. First, on the previous page you ask people to rate you. Now we go to the next page and you ask WHY DID YOU CHOOSE HOSTGATOR? What sense does that make, don't you want to know why people gave you the rating that they did. I guess not, probably because you already know. You guys almost doubled the price with no explanation. That is very disrespectful and unacceptable.

I can honestly say my experience of dealing with HOSTGATOR has been a truly good one. Whenever I had a problem, it was resolved immediately and with professionalism. The only complaint that I have is that the price keeps going up. Other than that, it is a great hosting service.

Things I've heard from other people. So far I've been told to launch the site that I've loaded I need to buy extra things so hostgator can buy the rights to my website name from the company that I bought the site name from, but I bought it from hostgator. So, at this point it's frustrating.

Price & SSL certificate when Godaddy was charging for SSL. Your login security design is diabolically BAD from a security standpoint and user ease. Support is both friendly and "trying" as in they're trying to help but not always succeeding. Getting to speak to a knowledgeable admin is harder than walking into the Kremlin to speak to putin.

I've been with HostGator since 2015 or earlier, can't remember exactly. HostGator always served me well for my domain and website needs. However, it seems this has changed with the new UI. It is not transparent. For example, I can no longer see all of my invoices, old and new. I do not have a clear understanding of which domains are private protected or have other issues. Every time I log into HostGator it shows "Your website isn't protected with Privacy Protection" - BUT IT DOESN'T STATE WHICH DOMAIN IT IS! If HostGator would put that in the message, then may be I'd correct the issue. But I have no idea if HostGator is just trying to get more money out of me or what. I've really become disappointed with this new UI. I hope HostGator will correct the lack of transparency to the customer, give us back our invoice history and post meaningful messages with details about which domain needs attention. Thank!

I have different email address on my cpanel accounts and find it constantly frustrating that I can only have one email adressa open at a time (ie if Im on the 'info@. ' account the 'exams@... ' account will close. Please can this issue be looked into!

Unlike some other website hosting companies, HostGator's customer service helpline is easy to get through and the wait time is very reasonable. That is a HUGE PLUS for me! Customer support team is helpful and most importantly, knowledgeable — they're always ready to listen and help to problem solve issues.
The team was professional and knowledgeable. They gave me good advice about my issues and were very patient in walking me through the steps while troubleshooting a problem.
After a bad experience with another website hosting company in getting hold of their customer service, I selected HostGator based on the reviews. However, before I decided to sign up with HostGator, I would purposely call them to ask questions and was impressed by how quickly I get through to their customer support, as well as their problem solving skills.

I have ongoing problems with my site due to a subscription for SiteLock sold to me at twice the market price by Hostgator. The SiteLock subscription was purchased to resolve a major hack. They did a good job with this but since then I have had endless problems. Most have to do with incompatibles with my site registrar Cloudflare and Hostgarot / Sitelock. No one seems to be able resolve the problem.
While I have been generally satisfied with Hostgator the inability to resolve this issue has me looking for a new hosting service.

Our website went down due to communication mishaps between HostGator and ourselves. After several phone calls, the issue was resolved and the website was back online.
The customer service representatives were friendly and helpful with resolving the issues.

I have had to spend many hours attempting to migrate a webpage hosting. This company has trained its staff to make it almost impossible to cancel your service. I have had to spend many hours trying to get the problem fixed, and ended up disputing with my bank. I will never touch this company again. Be very careful!

Be very, very careful. Ensure they don't have the auto-renew service on.

I cancelled the Host Gator service and the tech support responded and confirmed the service was cancelled the monthly charge would be removed from my card after 5 business days, but the charge still hasn't been removed from my card.

Hostgator is the Worst Service provider.
They are not able to resolve the issues for more than 6months. Neither of their phone line works nor Email.
The chat people are call centre people having no access to resolve the issue

Fix the link for cpannel email so it works for multiple domains. Regardless of what domain you click that from it always takes you the email of your first domain (vs the one you clicked it on). Please fix this
