Because I thought it was a good service. But I realized I was charged $50 usd for a backup recovery. Something that pretty much all other hosting services offer for free.

The new login page is horrible. I can't use my saved passwords and it takes several clicks to get to the login page including ads for services I do not want.

This was all new to me so I was sort of lost. What I did was looked up some youtubes, found a guy I could understand, and just had it on my Ipad next to the computer and followed along.
I had a problem with my password and that was all solved!
Good reliable company and I was told the best to offer assistance and that was my fear.

I got everything I needed and still have no website.
Since I was treated poorly but Hostgator agents and some supervisors, Cassie a supervisor have changed my host expiration to 02/10/2022, and when I called to reconfirm an agent said my expiration is November 2021 and after I mentioned I am filing a complaint. HE FOUND THE ACTUAL EXPIRATION. Funny right!

Their website builder is completely broken for several months with no fix date. I can't edit my website unless I rebuild it completely on a different builder.

It has been operative from the beginning with no interruption. It is simple.
We have not test the hosting with any database. This is a needs in a near future.
We couldn't send any emails to external accounts, but at the end the problem was a new setup required in Microsoft outlook that it was updating.

Speed via FTP and TTFB aren't satisfying. Hosting 3 times cheaper had better scores, then yours. Looks like you don't use even SSD, I'm not talking about NVMe SSD. I haven't had problems with response time during Google PageSpeed test, but now I got them time to time. Also today got SNI error during navigation on the site. I don't know how many of them get my visitors.

The login screen is a pain for password management. We need more direct links to our cpanel dashboard, so we don't have to login, see an offer, navigate to hosting, etc, just to get to cpanel.

The front door to the website asks for "user Name" when it sometimes means "email for user"...Sometimes it's the reverse. Took me 15 minutes to log in

Your new layout makes navigating to the cPanel very difficult. It only shows cPanel Email, which is not useful. The old version was much easier to navigate.

I upgraded my site and needed complex access for the design and developer team and you staff were very helpful. I also was able to clarify the level of service needed.
I received excellent support and the service agent worked with the developer team (we were transferring a complex site from Flash to HTML5).
I chose HostGator many years ago when looking for a hosting service.

I'm cancelling most of the service and want to keep the domain name only, but it is quite unclear and difficult to know if my payment for keeping domain name has been accepted, because Hostgator sends me notification of service delation but it does not clearly mention WHAT SERVICE REMAINS and WHAT SERVICE WILL BE DELETED. I'm so irritated and frustrated..

The new interface is just awful, and there is a constant issue with receiving and sending email which makes me have to open constantly tickets with help desk to resolve the issue.

Help desk is not really useful, and you don't provide good ways to improved Web site works. WordPoress is not working well with your system, a lot problems with Forms and email.
