It's been a great experience. I made all necessary changes to my new server using the chat tool and everything I needed was handled quickly and correctly. It was also nice to receive a few calls from HostGator support checking in to see how things were going. That is Proactive! Highly recommended.
A few times I reached out on chat, my requests were handled professionally and sucessfully.
Research suggested it was a good solution. So far it's proven correct.

I am happy with Hostgator and the service and reminders. The support chat line is the best help and i use it when stuck or the site is down or I have made an error. I don't know what i would do without that.

I was told if I paid for email protection for *******@nozomifinancial.net that I would stop receiving massive spam mail. I said ok, paid for the protection than immediately starting receiving even more Spam than before….

I'm so glad that I host with HostGator because I'm not a website developer or designer, but through talking with customer support I've become familiar with the terminology and process. The support staff are always patient and knowledgeable and I've never felt dumb for asking questions! They always find a solution to my problem, which makes me feel empowered to continue creating more sites with them. I'm really satisfied with my experience!

I almost gave you 4 stars but then I realized that everything I needed was provided. I had to build a fresh Drupal site and launch it within a very short window. HG's SSH access was perfect. The ability to generate pubkeys from HG allowed me to add a GIT repo when I feared I would have to go many rounds of support calls/chats/emails/etc to get that set up.
I'm a skilled Linux server admin but the client really wanted to use HG. I have to say, this went very very well! HG and your team offer a quality service that even Web Pros can appreciate and use.
Client chose HG because their previous site was hosted on a vendor's HG acct.
That vendor chose HG because of the ease of Cpanel, PHPMyAdmin, and related tools.

I have had multiple communications with your team and get different responses depending on who I ask. 2 months ago, we asked you to push the new site live, yet it seems like that didn't happen until I spoke to the right person (I guess) who did something (?) and made it live. I still don't know if they know what they were talking about because we keep getting emails asking me if my site is live. I'm assuming, since we switched off the old plan to the new one, that it is indeed live, and when you finally kill the old plan, it will keep working as expected, but I am not feeling confident. I keep getting emails, and so I'm just waiting for everything to stop altogether.
Numerous contacts to resolve the issue without actually being resolved. I have done everything in my power and spoken to numerous people to make sure it's actually live. I gave up and just decided that if it fails, I have tried to contact you and you will have to restore my files. It will be the last time we use Host Gator under my watch.
I didn't - it's who my predecessor selected based on price. If I had to do it allover I would have gone with someone else.

It was eventually resolved A to B by a knowledgeable terminal, 2 support personnel prior didn't know what they were doing and kept me waiting for over an hour for no resolution. Personnel should be trained on their duties.

I'm sincerely happy that you offer live real time and real person support. I am a victim of identity theft and if everything were left to AI I probably would not have had a positive outcome. Than you for offering real people who can get o the phone. In this age of identity theft it will be even more important than ever.
Excellent! I had to overcome identity theft, and the hacker took control of my account on numerous occasions; it required a real person to apply the necessary security protocols to prevent the hacker for regaining control of my account.
