I pay almost $500 for this service. And the customer services has been outsourced, and every since... this has been the worst experience. I'm so frustrated b/c I have been dealing with issues and calling for support since last year. Unfortunately, it seems that I will have to cancel this service after being with you all for 10 years.
If I can't get customer service when I needed, if the supervisor never calls back, when there is a language bearer with the customer service rep, and I have to call back repeatedly for over 7 months for the same issues that have never been resolved. What's the point of paying for this service.
Most recently, I finally found two people to build to of my websites... and you do not have an option to add a user for those purposes. This is very sensitive information and I don't want to give my password, and access to all of my account information.
I should be able to add a user only to the website building platform, without them having access to my password and my billing information.
Again, your customer service is the ABSOLUTE WORST! I loved it when I could call, get the same person, and they stayed on the phone until the issue was resolved. Now, you all collect your subscription payments and can careless if we have good service, get things resolved.
I use to refer Hostgator. I can honestly say that I absolutely HATE this service now. I'm so angry that I have been calling for this long to no avail.
And the fact that I've called several times in the last couple of weeks and asked for a return call from a supervisor, or for the call to be escalated... they have either voluntarily hung the phone after I've been on hold over an hour, or they say someone will call back, and I never get the call back.
It makes no sense that you do not have a way to add a user to an account. Most people don't know how to personally build their own website. This should be fundamental to this service.

Hi there,
Our company could not receive any external email from Monday, March 11th, 10am Ireland time and Tuesday, March 12th, 2pm Ireland time, because Hostgator made some changes to our DNS records without telling us.
This incident stopped our company to receive request for proposals during that time and costing us business.
When we reached out to Hostgator support during this time to help us, the support did not know what was the issue, and did not provide a solution. Fortunetly, we also reached to our email provider, Microsoft, who kindly helped identified the issue, and passed this information for Hostgator to fix.
First, we still did not know why Hostgator changed our DNS records. Second, this incident costed our business money. We have still customers reaching out to us because they did not understand why we did not reply to their emails they sent between Monday, March 11th, 10am Ireland time and Tuesday, March 12th, 2pm Ireland time. We never received their emails.
We need explanation and a way to recover all emails sent by our prospects/customers to us during that time.
Hope you will understand that such incident has a big impact for a startup like us.

Your site is fraudulent. Automatic charge without consent on renewal and non-refundable is how you lose clients.
