I am writing this out of frustration and disappointment with how HostGator has treated my website (Jobs4CNAs) crashing. Today marks day 12 since my website went offline, and the issue has still not been resolved. I have followed all the directives you guys have given and made payments totaling $509.87 ($149.99 for a new hosting plan and $359.88 for Sitelock), hoping my website will be back online.
I'm not ignorant, and I understand certain things, such as migration or a malware clean-up, can take up to 72 hours - so I've patiently been waiting. However, it has been 12 days and counting since my website has been down.
HostGator (Michael Howe) says they're waiting on Sitelock and even gave me the Case number (*******). I even voiced my frustration to the site lock sales team department. You can read that email trend below.
I finally got hold of a site lock support team member on the phone after multiple failed attempts, and he told me that the case number (*******) had been closed because there was no Site lock malware subscription associated with my domain (jobs4cnas).
So not only did I spend $359.88 for nothing (at least until this situation can be rectified), but this whole time (72 hours later) of waiting has been a complete waste of time. Even more frustrating, there was no notification of any form from HostGator that the ticket was closed by site lock. The whole time, I'm waiting, hoping the problem is being resolved.
I am disappointed with the service I've received from HostGator (and Sitelock) in the last 12 days. I feel like there has been no sense of urgency in resolving this matter, especially after spending $509.87.
I've mentioned this before, and I will repeat it: Jobs4CNAs is my business, and it has been offline for over a week now. I'm losing credibility in my industry, and I've already missed substantial partnership opportunities that took me two years to build.
I'm very saddened and disappointed by my experience with Hostgator. I hope someone can get back to me at least with some answers or solutions to how we can get my website back up and working.
