Nothing but a run around from level one support. Never transfer to suppervisors each one just left me on hold. 45-60 minutes per call. 7 phone calls and still have not spoken to a single supervisor or had my issue resolved. Absolutely disgusted.

It took quite long to get a response, however the action taken by the expert was accurate and provided a solution to my request.
I requested a website analysis for malware, because when I installed WordPress last week I got a Google warning, and my website isn't even developed yet!

Great experience every time that I have contacted HostGator for support. This is a clear advantage over another hosting company I have used, where wait times are supposedly 60 minutes or more, and the callback option didn't work for me, anyway.

You all recently updated the ui, and I do not like it at all. For advanced users such as myself it takes way too many clicks to get to cpanel. A direct link to cpanel should be on the home screen. Also each time I log in, I see this screen encouraging me to add the enhanced privacy guard or whatever you all are calling it. I understand it's a sales tactic but why must I see it each time I login. Who is making the decisions at this company? Additionally my interaction with your first-level customer support has not been the best. The people I have corresponded with seemed to not know too much and take a long time to answer even basic queries.

New UI and design is poor. Finding billing, getting to email addresses, etc. is all over the place. It's targeted at adding services, not managing existing. Old UI would give an option to be directed to CPanel right off the bat. Also when I attempted to enable MFA it repeatedly gave me incorrect codes that never worked and kept locking out the account. Had to remove it via the security questions just to able to get into my account. Would like to enable that but can't risk getting locked out of all of my domains again. Now it's forcing MFA confirmation every time I login to a single email account which is unsecure. Also lists a domain I do not own nor have ever owned as the primary account.

Keep changing and unnecessarily adding infos, making it difficult for longtime users! I have lost data over and over,,, and the customer service not helpful! I understand one have to sale and make money, but do consider the importance of customers files as well. Not everyone is a computer ingeneer.

How you are going to compete with other hosting companies if sites goes down every few minutes, and you do changes on backend files without owners permissions, very bad service! Are you trying to force your customer to move another hosting if yes, then be clear with them and don't plat around guys, this is not professional business

Communication was quick and helpful. They solved our problem and got us live in just a few hours.

Bad security and bad support.
All the hosts i use are infected and you keep saying that i should subscribe to an antivirus service, knowing that i'm deleting the whole content and the issues keep persists!
I suggest not to ask people about their opinion because we all believe that it will change nothing in your quallity of service.
I'm a customer since 3 years and keep suffering!
Thanks

The renew fee is exorbitant! I demand to know if there are any options for reducing the cost or if there is a way to negotiate a lower fee. It's important to me that I'm getting a fair price and I will not settle for anything less.

I thought it would be an easy experience, but it has not been easy. I cannot add my nameservers that were present when I changed domain hosts. Somehow they 'disappeared' and it won't allow me to place them again.

Would not recommend since your holding my info for ransom and probably selling my info. I get calls days in for my website. Since this is for school to learning how to code. Once done, will end this hot garbage.

Still have not received the refund for the Site Lock you all cancelled with them that I am paying for. Still have the prior issue on my site. Customer service is atrocious and I have actively been recommending GoDaddy to the ten people this month I've helped with sites rather than you as I previously have.

Because it used to be the best hosting provider for the money, but recently it keeps breaking my websites for no reson. This is the third time in a short period I have to contact support. They fix it but then in the next day is offline again without us making any changes. Sad to say.

Good so far. I don't have a lot to compare it to, when I have questions they receive answers.
I found it on an internet search, I had to start somewhere.

Your recent update to the management structure has made my email accounts under domain tnt4wellness.com invisible. I cannot access or manage the 3 email addresses associated. Please correct this ASAP. The addresses are *******@tnt4wellness.com, *******@tnt4wellness.com, *******@tnt4wellness.com. Thank you.

My account is stuck on PayPal payment that fails, can't be changed to another form of payment and is unprotected and for 5 months you still haven't bothered to fix it. Escalating a problem still you don't help your customers and that's horrible.

Amazing service was given and all my questions were answered. There wasn't any high pressure sales tactics. The courteous answers and willingness to take time to help won my business to Hostgator. I hope my representative gets a commission and/or a raise for this, as he greatly deserves it!

I think Hostgator is a company that is heading towards defeat, I'm using it because I paid for a 3-year plan and I have to wait for it to finish otherwise I would already be with another company. I hired a service over a year ago and I've made several complaints about the server's features, including using the older version of PHP because they don't know how to update cPanel, a procedure that takes 5 minutes to do, remembering that it's all automatic. Hostgator does not refund the price I paid even using an outdated product. They sell one product and deliver another. I don't recommend coming to this company, there are several better ones.

I always get great customer service when I call. The reason I am giving a 3 star rating is because I shouldn't have to call every three months to get someone to renew my certificates so that my website works--this should happen automatically. This is an issue that needs to be fixed.
I always get great customer service when I call without a long wait on hold.
It came recommended as a quality low cost alternative to other, more expensive, hosting services.

Excellent service, I have hosted my websites with hostgator since 2011 and I am happy to be with them. In addition, the support they give is excellent, I can get help 24/7 and they have always solved every problem I have had. 100% recommended.
Tip for consumers:
If you are going to contract shared hosting, I recommend that you choose the Baby Plan, because that way you will have the option of adding other domains if you decide to add other projects along the way.

For someone who is trying to manage multiple logons/domains, the billing is terrible. Emailed receipts offer no information as to what it's for, and the 'renewal center' doesn't tell you much. It takes so much of my day trying to decipher these things. I can't imagine this is accidental because it's so bad it has to be intentional to create confusion.

I just had a bad helpdesk conversation that has left me upset with the way I was treated. I feel the person wasted my time and was not knowledgeable or transparent. I am unsure as to why Vinayak was treating me like this. I have been a client for a number of years, and have not received such poor treatment in all that time.

I needed help getting my domains and websites transferred from IPage. It took a few tries, but the agents were very patient and helpful.
Agens were friendly and helpful.
Because I can actually talk to a person. Not just chat.

My experience so far is horrible. I have spoken with customer service at least 6 times to fix domain issues, be assured that the issue is fixed, but only to find out that the issue is indeed NOT fixed. I'll try one more time and then I am transferring my domain name to another service.
