The process was easy to work with. I has not run into any unexpected issues (other than the default WordPress not working until I disabled all of the default plugins - once I did that, everything worked).
Good reviews on-line and good value for the money.

When a problem occurs in developing my SW for which I feel I need HG assistance, I receive like NO ('zilch') coherent support. First, Support via phone is never achievable-- it is impossible to get a support repr., so I revert to Chat. The HG Chat reprs. Are ill-trained, e. G,, they do not even know the basics of website development or internet. E.G. They have no clue how the resolution of a domain URL gets to its intended location, or know anything about DNS (not even what the initials stand for). Pls train your support people-- as it is now, they are simply wasting my time!

It's been a month now with no resolution. I have no access to my cPanel, my domain has disappeared and no one is able to fix it. After 4 contacts with customer service with escalation every time, there is still no resolution and no follow up! Disappointed!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE
I have been with them for 25 years plus. They were a TEXAS based operation with AMERICAN BASED CUSTOMER SERVICE. They were excellent.
Since early this year...They have doubled their rates from 12.95 to 23.95 per month...so I wanted to understand why.
Well now their Customer service is in the Philippines. You cannot speak to anyone in the US.
I lived in the Philippines so I clearly understand the language barrier
I went through 4 people in 1.4 hours on the phone: ZIG/Bianca /Rica/Dexter who could barley speak English.
I am seeking another hosting company.
We as Americans wanting to support our own country

So I am pointing my domain here, but I can't find any way to actually edit my website since I can't get to it by domain name. I'm sitting here completely frustrated that I can't reach anything that I can actually edit after installing Concrete this morning. I can't even tell if Concrete is correctly installed.
How do I get to anything I can actually edit while my users start popping in to look?

It used to be so easy to get into a website and to Cpanel. Now it is almost impossible to find. Between your overbearing new advertising and your "Message Us" that you can't turn off and which covers places you need to click, Hostgator is a mess.

I've made my choise because Hostgator is a well known hosting company, and on the paper, it seemed to be the most interesting choise. Unfortunatly, the ******* Nodes limit is impossible to deal with if you have multiple email addresses and a medium website. Caching system broke my website and scripts are not working correctly on the website. Tested the same website on a low cost hosting service and it worked better. CloudFlare Integration not working too. Come on guys, update your node limit, at least! Ionos limits nodes to more than ******* files. Twice as much!

I hate the new control panel. I almost always want to manage an email list and I have to click through a bunch of crap to get there. There should at least be a setting to select the app/page I want to land on upon login. I HATE THIS!

Improve backup
I have a Reseller / Silver plan with you for years.
I suggest improving the essential speed for wordpress, improving the back up friendly from cpanel of the site in worpress.

I usually don't have issues speaking with hostgator. Usually, it's a one-and-done deal but not with my latest project. Connecting my site to a third party was supposed to be simple by changing a CNAME and i provided the link to where it was pointing. I had to push back the course release a week because I spoke to 3 different people at HostGator and the first two couldn't get it to work properly. After the third try it worked well. That person said they were going to report the first two who worked with me for not doing it correctly.
Easy to use and mostly the work they do for me when I contact them.

Had to verify my google merchant account on my website pennywisebuy.com. Tried and failed including an HTML tag to the header of my homepage. Got an error message and was asked to use STFP. No idea what that meant. One of their capable assistants came to my rescue. He was an expert that sorted me out under a minute. Service excellence at its best. Thanks basil francis

I received a notice this morning of a service (code guard basic) being expired. There was no mention of which domain(s) that particular codeguard was for. Now I am going to spend a lot of time looking around your site which is incredibly difficult to navigate to try to find out which of the domains it is for which I need to do to determine if it needs to be renewed.

I get an error every time I try to open bowmano.com. Under websites it still has an address of gator4229.temp.comain (and on it goes). I transferred this from godaddy weeks ago. I realize I might be doing something wrong also

Hello, can you guys stop changing the login page so that safari can enter the password automatically? It's a pain in the butt to got to keychain and copy paste password. If you guys could keep the login page simple it would be nice.

I wanted to change the main domain name. First contact with the support team, the technician did half job, meaning the domain name was changed. But after more than 48 hours, my site was still showing ERROR 404. I had to contact the support team to fix that issue.
But in general, very goos service
