I like the wide array of tools that came with the shared hosting business package. I loved the Hostgator Website Builder. It's really unfortunate they're no longer supporting it.

Your database server met my requirements, but now Hostgator is going backwards in its ability to provide solutions to problems. I have 30 days and it still cannot solve my problem.

Easy to launch my website. I was, however, disappointed by the cPanel, which only allows E-mail management. We will see if that becomes problematic in the future

You pay for a website and all the extras for 5 years. It doesn't work and they want more money to fix it. Support drops phone call after 456 minutes very frustrating

HostGator customer service is atrocious. Only sales are good, which would make sense since they are the ones selling you on the product. But once you're in, every rep I've experienced on the tech team has been painful. They are all foreign reps, not that there is anything is wrong with that, but I have been on numerous chats with reps for multiple hours in the last few weeks and they either don't provide the help I need or they end the call after saying I "haven't answered in a while" when I literally respond immediately, within 1 or 2 seconds. I have also tried service by phone three times. Today I called and finally spoke to someone on the phone. Asked for a supervisor because I was done with incompetent customer service reps and no resolutions. After waiting on hold for thirty minutes I was told a supervisor would call me back. Of course, no call back. And my issue still remains. I can't access or create my website because I can't get to Wordpress. This company is terrible. Stay away from HostGator. Their low prices aren't worth the terrible customer service.

I don't like how you splash the screen with an ad for the private domain feature. I have to look at it every time I log in and that doesn't feel right.

I have since the new update not been able to access emails at my convenience It is imperative that I have access without any success it gets worse PLEASE PUT THE LINK BACK so my team and I can find it under Brownstone Worldwide its been such a time monster for us

Recommended by another, BUT: Your lower tier customer support is abysmal and time wasting. It takes too much time and energy to get people who know what they are doing. Also, when you upgraded my server, you took data that was almost TWO YEARS OLD, not what was currently on our server. So I'm OK now but happy? NO, NOT HAPPY.

Email Delivery Error 451 bounceback directly back to the sender's Outllook or Thunderbird has been tormenting my Reseller customers. Countless hours of troubleshooting since last year and the best advice I got is to get a VPS (or die with it). You know this errors, it's a problem with all of your shared infrastructure in peak times around 10am CST. And I keep loosing clients, time and money for years. I'm 10+ years a client, referred many clients who spent thousands on dedicated servers and so on. You need to rethink reseller packages. Also, the customer service is more about service than solutions. Pardon me but I rather be treated just about fair and get things done instead of being "serviced" with callcenter scripts by agents that have to get into a second chat with real admins.

Lower restrictions on content types and "unlimited" bandwidth/storage. Unfortunately the latter part of that appeal does not seem to be the case after all. RIP.
