I have more than one site at Hostgator. You didn't tell me which domain you're asking about. Hostgator has a habit of sending me emails without identifying the site they're referring to.

1- Problems are handled in un effective way
2- Agents does not have system to follow up
3- Every agent starts from scratch
4- every case should have number and agent assigned to follow up through email or phone number

HostGator is my first choice due to Reliability and price. Please STOP upselling your privacy protection on the splash screen. It looks like a cheap trap, and reduces my perception of trust.

It is completely unacceptable to try an authentication 10 times until it works. In addition, I tried to reset the password, NOT even the USER ID was found in the database. WHAT KIND OF SERVICES ARE THESE?

Words do NOT describe my frustration with these people. My website keeps going down and they promise 99% UPTIME. My web company always calls me to tell me the website is down again and to upgrade my server. I call these people every day and get a different answer from every person I talk to. The customer service agents sound like little kids and they are very rude. AND to top it off, whenever I ask to speak to a supervisor they tell me NO! Finally, I got fed up with being told no to speak to someone that can help me so I reported my phone call. IF ANYONE EVER HAS A PROBLEM WITH THEM, THEY RECORD ALL PHONE CALLS. All you have to do is email *******@hostgator.com with the time you called, number you called from, and the first name and last initial of the person you spoke with. I have now had 5 apology letters from hostgator.com. My service has improved but they still get 1 star for how unprofessional their agents are.

I was recommended to me from a youtube video but im having a hard time getting to actually ACCESS or even MAKE my website. The domain transfer from wordpress (im starting to wish i never left it) has been horrible. It still hasnt gone through even though I was told it did. I'm extremely happy there is a 24hr helpline with a REAL PERSON. Its not perfect as the people helping me cann only offer to much given that its the website of HostGator not living up to greatness. If the helpline feature wasnt included i wouldve cancled everything by now. I hope it all gets better but as of now Im stressed I may not be able to build my website on through HostGator.

Star rating & Tyler Moore video, but I should have chosen Bluehost I think because it has possibly free reliable SMPT bulk email. But I ay be wrong. Also most importantly there was a great YouTube by Tyler Moore with the first 15min showing very simply how to set up low cost HostGator and domain name. For about $30 then WordPress detailed step by step. He is very good at not missing steps.

I have been using host gator for years now and I'm constantly trying to figure out what the problem is with your email system.
I have talked to customer service MANY times to try and fix the issue with my emails going into spam. It happens across all domains but mostly *******@onlinetxhomes.com
I sell real estate and I can not have my email going to spam, its not all but many times. I need to get this resolved. I Each time I call for help I hear the same thing we sent it to ourselves and its find - ITS NOT FINE, it is happening.

I chose hostgator because of the low price, but poor service comes with it. I can't get my domains transferred, and moving my hosting over has been a pain in the butt, and it's not done.
