Because it has the most features I am looking at at a reasonable cost, but our site has been hacked twice so Hostgator security appears to be suboptimal and the cpanel is not that easy to use.

Simply difficult to find what need at any given time. Ex: cant go directly to the managers of domains - gotta go thru email the look for it - can set ftp's - just difficult

I migrated my site to a new plan, and paid $150 for Hostgator to do the migration, but the site is down and broken -- and I'm still waiting for technical support to resolve.

I used the chat interface and was extremely pleased withthe knowledge and helpfulness of the staff. They stayed online with me unitl the domain was active and I could log inthe cpanel and successfully use the ftp access. I would reccomened them.

I used to love hostgator. I'd login, get to cpanel and do whatever work needed to be completed. Now, there's a new interface and i can't seem to get anything done except with several chats and hours of hassle.
Past: Cpanel - 30 min

The way the reconfiguration has complicated reaching the file management page is HORRIBLE. AND the fact that there's a splash page to add extra services. If we want it, we'll order it. Don't shove it in our faces EVERY TIME WE LOG IN.
