Only thing I have to say, I was told I could cancel if I needed before Jan21. I wasnt told I would have to pay for one nite room if I had to cancel. This was on my receipt I received per email. I call the hotel where Im book & ask them about this policy & told them I was not td this or I wouldn't have booked with their hotel. We never know what can happen in our lives. She said I had to give a 24 hour notice; & no I wouldnt be charge a nite rental. So which is it? You will or you wont? I dont like a place who dont have all their ducks in a row! My partner and I couldn't believe it. We called the hotel customer service to ask some details about the rooms before we book a six night stay during Mardi Gras and the agent named Jose answered and said to us if you're not ready to book immediately and slammed the phone in our ear, we called back, hoping to speak with him about his inappropriate customer service ethics we got the lovely Danielle. She was helpful lovely and we have now booked our room for six nights during Mardi Gras 2026. Thank goodness you have agent such as this because if left to Jose, you would have zero bookings. I hope you can track him down and retrain him on customer service! He was awful. And also Danielle Isabel deserves a raise. She was wonderful, helpful and we continued with our booking in your hotel.

John was OK a bit hard to understand but after getting off the phone with him, I called the Hotel direct and he kept telling me no I could park my car there for the cruise the whole time and they said no you have to make a *******@cruiseterminals.com. He kept telling me no you'll be able to park there thank goodness I had stayed at that hotel before and cruised or I would've been out parking. This does not make me very happy. That's why I gave him a low score. Also, I have not got a email of my confirmation of my hotel stay I only got it on my phone but when I called the hotel, they did tell me I had a reservation so that made me a little bit. Happier again your people need to know that if you were going on a cruise, you need to make a separate reservation for parking.!

Too many issues booking with an outside source so called the hotel direct.
Got info and pricing, Joelle was quite cheerful. And it didn't take long to make reservations. My only issue was the call kept cutting out so I missed what she said and she had to repeat it, and she talked very fast. I have hearing loss so that was kinda hard. Otherwise she was very helpful!

Needle to move a stay by 1 day earlier than booked. In a hotel that as it turned out was VERY VERY lightly occupied. Should have been simple. But because I went through this booking site, it was enormously frustrating and took MULTIPLE email contacts. Andre turned out to be very helpful finally. But, I will never book through a third party again.

Do not put guest with no children next to a room with unsupervised children that are jumping on beds and making lots of noise when the motel is not near capacity noise level was loud till 11 pm

Answer: I attempted to email, submitted a support request, called numerous times, requested call backs (received 0), attempted to chat and was continuously ignored or "disconnected", never once reaching anyone that would or could help me. Customer Service at HotelPlanner is nonexistent.
Answer: HP's staff is full of deceitful and despicable liars. Do not use HP for planning any trips if you wish to have smooth, happy travels.
Answer: Just do not use! HP is awful and they will spoil your travel plans!
