Positive experience with reservation agent, Antonio. Clear communication when making reservation for Nov 29th, myself and grandsons. CAA number needs to be noted on reservation. Itinerary email confirmation does not note inclusion of waterpark admission which is a bit scary.
Only comment - Agent unclear about waterpark, hours and whether it can be accessed earlier if pass picked up at desk before check-in as 4:00

We were told the rate would be $138.00 for each room for 3 rooms per night and that we would be charged when we checked in. Then 1 hour later we were charged 3 different rates for the 3 rooms and they set us up as prepaid for the rooms. When we tried to cancel it the same day which is still 3 days before we're would then get charged another cancellation fee. Not what we had in mind because we would not have booked it if the rates were this much higher. And definitely didn't want to pay for it until we arrived so to the fact we were holding the reservation for 2 other people! Terrible experience!

I am a Hilton honors member. I tried to call the hotel direct and looked it up on the internet, Your representative answered and acted like she was with the hotel and I made a reservation. Later I figured out that she was a third party operator and quoted me a much higher price than I would have gotten with Hampton Reservations. I called to cancel and was told that my deposit was not refundable. My reservation was not cancelled as I asked and I called again this morning and cancelled. You people are scammers!

I looked up a hotel on Expedia.com and then looked up, what I believed to be the direct number. It was not! I imagine I dealt with an Expedia affiliate.
The woman rushed me to make a reservation. She quoted an amount higher than what was advertised online, saying they ran out of the lower priced rooms. She cited an amount higher than online. She also led me to believe I was dealing with the hotel directly, which in fact, I was not. Very misleading!
When I booked into the hotel, the direct price would have been $20 USD less, a significant enough difference.
Needless to say, this will be my first and last dealing with Expedia.

Answer: I attempted to email, submitted a support request, called numerous times, requested call backs (received 0), attempted to chat and was continuously ignored or "disconnected", never once reaching anyone that would or could help me. Customer Service at HotelPlanner is nonexistent.
Answer: HP's staff is full of deceitful and despicable liars. Do not use HP for planning any trips if you wish to have smooth, happy travels.
Answer: Just do not use! HP is awful and they will spoil your travel plans!
