Used it a few times when i was looking for some alternatives other than the more known ones, and this one worked perfectly. The thing that caught my eye the first time i ever logged on the site was their extensive language and currency preferencers, they are pretty easy to set and the website interface is a little bit old-school which like. You don't really want flashy animations and shiny illustrations, you just want to book your hotel, get your confirmation, check some info about the hotel and get on with it. This site is particularly cool for that, prices are competitive and the website often provides pretty good deals and discounts as well. So, simple and east, streamlined, supportive, competitive, it has all the good ingredients to be a really good alternative.
Never booked through hotelone.com these scoundrels will trick you into booking a non-refundable hotel room with zero warning. Once you book, they bill you the full amount automatically and then it's almost impossible to get your credit card company to even reverse the charge. I had a booking a month in advance on a trip I had to cancel a month in advance & the hotel refused a refund as well!
Tino pai! Great! The confirmation email went to my SPAM folder, but it was great to have a heads up that this might happen. Otherwise, easy to navigate site, and I look forward to the trip and stay. Cheers DG
Just spent 1.5 hours on the phone with someone in the Philippines, over a reservation at a hotel 5 miles from my home. Just wanted to change the checkin day, and I wasn't even asking for a refund. Ended up being threatened with paying double and losing the whole reservation. "Do you want to pay an extra $580? Well do you?" And this was the SUPERVISOR. Run from this company!
This website is a fraud. They charged me for a cancellation that was clearly in the guidelines for a refund. They even sent me a cancellation notice, and then said it was not cancelled. Spent a lot of time on phone and got the run around. What a Sham!
I've booked 2 nights hotel and cancelled 10 days before the original check in date that is before penalty is imposed according to their email confirmation.
But they refunded $100.00 less!
Inquired *******683. First call, they hung up in the middle of me telling them reservation#. 2nd call, phone was breaking out so bad (for sure that's them). 3rd call, the rep said $100.00 is due to hotel policy, not HOTELSONE but the hotel was saying that is HOTELSONE policy. So the rep said "let me check further " then go hold. She never came back!
Yet to stay at the hotel as i am booked in for this week for a seminar. I will have my family joining us at the hotel on Saturday and I am looking forward to that and hopefully utilising some of the Hotel's services and facilities.
Close to the seminar
At the completion of booking a 2 night stay in a hotel through Hotelsone, I was informed my request could not be processed at this time. I immediately completed another request. You guessed it, I received two emails confirming my bookings. I immediately called Hotelsone service center. They put me on hold, then told me the hotel would not cancel the booking or refund my money. I was not looking for reciprocity from the hotel... it was not their fault. My request was made two days prior to my visit. There is no reason Hotelsone could not have canceled my second reservation. They have agreed to refund me half of the $279.00 fee. I will contest this charge with my bank. But I will never use Hotelsone again and I will be sure to share this experience over and over. I don't appreciate their customer service or lack thereof. This could have been handled with my first call to customer service.
I called the hotel to verify that they accept hotelsone reservations. They said yes but that hotelsone has a tendency to over book the rooms... She said they are going to call me to confirm that my rooms are secure within 24-48 hours.
Hotelsone's site is super easy to use though
Rang hotel to request early check in. Advised that I was prepared to pay the fee.
Response was that request could not be confirmed. Would be up to person on desk when we arrived.
In my circumstances this was not satisfactory.
Uncertain outcome
Stayed there before. Convenient location reasonable rate.
It was fast, easy, and accurate. The confirmation went to my spam without me knowing. So I had to call the hotel to see if my name was on their register. Which it was. Fast forward a couple days and I decided to look at my spam and there was the confirmation.
It was the side to use to make the reservation.
My booking online seemed to take place just fine.
I received an email from Sitejabber asking if I had received confirmation. I replied NO but have since found an email from Hotels One confirming the booking.
My son is already booked at the resort and I have decided to join them for part of their stay.
Absolute garbage site. It is impossible to get a hold of them once you make a reservation to make any changes. They have a European phone number which is unaccessible no matter where you're at by cellular phone. You cannot dial an 800 number when you are out of the country.
And the hotel just tells you you have to call them which is impossible. I would not use this site if they were offering free stays in hotel please run run run.
My Hilton Garden reservation never happened. Arrived for reservation, had confirmation from my email, no room. Hotel never got a reservation request. I called HotelsOne no way to get a human answer my questions. This is a scam outfit. Hope FBI closes them down before others get scammed.
Don't use this HotelsOne. The worst experience ever.
They refuse to return the money even though knowing the situation we have to lived during Hurricane Dorian. Since we have to left the hotels 2 days early
They AGREEDED to refund money after I was hospitalized due to life threatening illness. Never received refund. Called again, spent waiting 20 minutes before hanging up. They said I had no record of calling before and tried keeping my 320 bucks.
Stay far far away from them. SCAMMERS!
I was rather concerned about using someone else besides booking.com or Trip Advisor etc to book, I usually prefer to go directly to the establishment to book with them. So far this site seems easy to navigate and I confirmed this booking directly with the establishment after making this one online
I didn't really choose it, you popped up under 6% hotel discount under unlock savings, hoping you are not a rip off disguising as actual hotel booking site?
I didn't realize I was booking with a separate company and not the hotel itself …. I booked with the advertised price in mind, I think it was $135 per night …. My confirmation says I am paying $199 per night! I am not happy about the price and to be honest I am looking to reserve at another hotel that is more affordable
I did not realize I was booking with Hotels One
The web site was easy to use and made booking simple. It could be clearer about when you will charge my credit card as the web site stated it was required to secure the booking and payment could be made in full at the hotel by credit card but you charged the full amount on confirmation.
It was better to book direct from the hotels web site than use a travel booking provider.
The site charged me $122.49 cents more than if I had called the hotel myself and booked the room. I called and asked hotel one for the difference they said it's non- refundable. So jokes on me I guess.
They told me it was a non-refundable purchase. So I am the dumb $#*!
I wasn’t thinking. Should have called hotel. Lesson learned.
I was very disappointed to learn my request to deal directly with the hotel, with whom I deal regularly, was hijacked by your third party booking agency.
I am now very concerned about the privacy of my private information.
I didn't.
My browser hijacked me to you.
DO NOT USE HOTELSONE. Do yourself a favor and contact the hotel directly. This company is horrible. They provide absolutely no value to the hotel booking experience. Horrible Customer Service (just calling it service is an insult to actual service). ZERO chance of ever talking to someone who can make billing corrections. ZERO Chance of ever getting a refund. How this place can stay in business is mind blowing. Hopefully the word will get out and the customers will dry up. STAY AWAY
The website didn't include as much detail on the rooms as i was expecting and there didn't appear to be a link to the restaurant and menu.
It is ridiculous in this day and age to include wifi as a 'free benefit'.
I was deceived into thinking I was on a hotel's website, made payment and then realised I was on Hotelsone. Covid shut down came and now i am trying to get a refund but they do not respond to emails nor do they have any phone numbers listed. This proves they are criminal scammers
I thought I was booking with the hotel its self, but it was hotel one. The hotel allows refunds 24 hours prior to arrival, hotel one does not allow ANY refunds for cancelation. Hotel One is a rip off! Beware, always make sure you are booking direct with the hotel site and not these no refund jerks. There is no way to contact them.
Tip for consumers:
Booked wrong hotel and was impossible to contact them to change to correct hotel, have been charged for booking. Spoke direct with hotel, they cancelled booking as no payment had been received but has since been charged.
I always like to speak to a person on the phone to make a booking in case i have questions as I did in this case. I do not like on line booking for the above reason, how ever the process was simple and easy to follow
No choice it was the only one in towm
My wife was looking at 3 different weekends in Palm Springs. She inadvertently hit book on the incorrect weekend. I immediately called - 10 minutes later! After confirming with the hotel that they had availability and they would be happy to change the date by one week but we would need to go thru Hotels One. Hotels One told me all sales are final and they would not accommodate my request.
