Used it a few times when i was looking for some alternatives other than the more known ones, and this one worked perfectly. The thing that caught my eye the first time i ever logged on the site was their extensive language and currency preferencers, they are pretty easy to set and the website interface is a little bit old-school which like. You don't really want flashy animations and shiny illustrations, you just want to book your hotel, get your confirmation, check some info about the hotel and get on with it. This site is particularly cool for that, prices are competitive and the website often provides pretty good deals and discounts as well. So, simple and east, streamlined, supportive, competitive, it has all the good ingredients to be a really good alternative.
Never booked through hotelone.com these scoundrels will trick you into booking a non-refundable hotel room with zero warning. Once you book, they bill you the full amount automatically and then it's almost impossible to get your credit card company to even reverse the charge. I had a booking a month in advance on a trip I had to cancel a month in advance & the hotel refused a refund as well!
Had to dig my confirmation out of Junk folder which I found unusual. Other than that seems like an oK service thus far.

The online booking process was easy and efficient. Thank you. We look forward to our stay during wedding celebrations nearby.
Do not like companies seeking self gratification--- just shows a lack of class
All service should be 5-star--why would you provide anything less?
It was the only option provided---- I like dealing directly with the hotel---not an intermediary.
Intermediaries only increase the price and are never accountable for performance at the Hoel.
Easily completed reservation online. We are looking forward to visiting this location for the first time.
Utilized the online reservation option for a specific location.
OK. A lot of info required. How and when will I receive my access code.? Have booked in for tomorrow night!
Easy, simple, reasonable. I was transferred to this booking after looking at a place. Worked out fine.
Was transferred there after checking out a hotel.
Hotel one booking was easy online. The rates are little high and I didn't get the convention rate. They said blocked rooms were sold out'
Convention.
Not enough time to process booking room before you raised the rates per night. So hurtful and disappointing.
Every time I stayed in this hotel was a pleasure and unforgettable experience. Nice people to deal with.
I requested early check in as the wedding starts at 2pm but there is no indication of how I will be notified if that is granted- and how early..
Recommendation
Awful!
I paid extra for being Canadian ON TOP of the exchange rate. The hotel was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
Useless
By mistake... Never again
Easy to make a Hotel reservation, and the Hotel is situated within walking distance of al the main tourist attractions downtown Pittsburgh.
We have stayed in Drury Hotel Grant Street Pittsburgh previously. We enjoyed the free breakfast included in the booking. Good value for money.
No problem making my reservation. Super easy. Googled the hotel and chose HotelOne to reserve the nights and room I wanted with no fuss.
Very easy to book a room no complaints. Hotel seems to be just what we were looking for. Looking forword to or stay
Confirmation sent via Junk Mail. Did not view it until Expedia agent told me to see if it was sent via Junk Mail 24 hours later.
If by HotelsOne you mean Expedia I was very pleased that the agent directed me where to find my confirmation.
Very easy to book. I was wanting to stay at Margaritaville Hotel for one night. Didn't know I was using your website.
Did not know I was using HotelsOne, I thought I was on Margaritaville web site booking.
Booking for Granby. It was quick and easy. Went on the webpage and was able to find a good rate and the room I needed.
Booking was quick and easy with no hassels & it was cheaper to book with hotelsone than with other similar sites.
Quick and easy site, clear and concise information, costing and reservation process. Perfect for planning for our 38th anniversary. Thank you!
Specifically want to stay at the Tremont House
I understand I could have received a senior discount by using a code during booking. I wasn't aware at the time.
It was a link from the map I was viewing.
At first I didn't even realize I wasn't booking directly through the hotel. The system worked perfectly.
Stay away--here's the deal, and it's complicated so you get the short version. I made a reservation for a hotel, for 2 nights, the day before I was supposed to arrive, in a situation where I thought there was a good chance I would cancel. The hotel is overseas, so there is a time difference between there and the U. S,. So of course, I do what a rational person does: get a refundable reservation. So I click on that price which clearly says "refundable", fill in the blanks, and get my reservation. It's something like 9:30 in the morning where I am, and I can see that the cancellatio policy says "must receive cancellation prior to 4 PM Istanbul time/+2 GMT". Literally, something like 5 minutes later, I cancel the reservation. I get the cancellation message almost immediately, but don't read it closely.
So today I look at my bank statement and realize that they didn't refund all my money--they kept one night's cost. So I call them up to find out why. Turns out, because of the time difference between the U.S. and where the hotel is, when I made the reservation, it was already past 4 PM where the hotel was; i. E., it was never a cancellable reservation--as soon as I clicked the button to book what the site says was a refundable price, it was already past the deadline to get a refund.
Of course, when I called hotels.com to fight it, the refunds people kept saying, "well, you saw the refund policy twice before you reserved the room". Well, yes, but, I also saw the words "free cancellation", which wasn't true: as I said, at 925 A.M. when I made the reservation, it was already past 4 P.M. where the hotel was. And by the way, although I do travel overseas quite a bit, I have not memorized the time difference between my location and every other place in the world--get real hotels.com. No matter what the time difference, I expect that when I make a reservation at 0925, and cancel it at 0935, I will not be dinged for a night's stay.
Anyway, point being, once they have your money, don't expect common sense with these folks.
So when I called up the hotels.com number to plead my case, of course, they say that
No mention of Hotels One Till I received my Confirmation and No refund available if I need to cancel. Will not use again
