Used it a few times when i was looking for some alternatives other than the more known ones, and this one worked perfectly. The thing that caught my eye the first time i ever logged on the site was their extensive language and currency preferencers, they are pretty easy to set and the website interface is a little bit old-school which like. You don't really want flashy animations and shiny illustrations, you just want to book your hotel, get your confirmation, check some info about the hotel and get on with it. This site is particularly cool for that, prices are competitive and the website often provides pretty good deals and discounts as well. So, simple and east, streamlined, supportive, competitive, it has all the good ingredients to be a really good alternative.
Never booked through hotelone.com these scoundrels will trick you into booking a non-refundable hotel room with zero warning. Once you book, they bill you the full amount automatically and then it's almost impossible to get your credit card company to even reverse the charge. I had a booking a month in advance on a trip I had to cancel a month in advance & the hotel refused a refund as well!

The couldn't give me a discount because I booked through you. The Loyalist hotel told me to contact you for a discount.
Reasonably clean but very run down. Kitchen not properly outfitted. Had to ask for help turning heat on. No hangers in closet.

Decided to try something new!
I thought I was booking through the Holiday Inn Express but some how I ended up booking through Hotelsone I called Holiday Inn Express l to cancel due to death in the family I was not able to take my leisure vacation. I was told by Holiday Inn that "I booked through a 3rd party so I had to go through them and they ( Holiday Inn) do not charge a cancellation fee. So I went on line to Hotelsone to cancel which was quite easy to do; by the way I had 48 hours to cancel before I was charged. I called within 36 hours of my arrival date. So the fine print read "we do not charge for a change or cancellation fee; but the hotel property requires us to charge a 1 night stay and penalties. So naturally I called the Hotel they said" Think about it you gave your money to a 3rd party. I was on hold for 30 minutes with Hotelsone but eventually hung up because I kept getting their recorded message do you know you can go in line to change or cancel your reservations. To make matters worse! My credit card WAS CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT 606.48 ON THE VERY DAY I CANCELED 36 HOURS PRIOR TO MY ARRIVAL DATE. 2 days later I received 384.26 credit back from the 606.28 I paid for the 3night stay. I AM ENTITLED TO MY FULL DEPOSIT. WHAT A SCAM. I I AM DEFINITELY GOING TO NOTIFY THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!
I needed to make a small change in my booking, and the call I placed to Sails Terrigal do that was answered within minutes by Elizabeth.
The person I spoke too wasn't easy to understand.
Been to Sails Terrigal some time ago and enjoyed it.
Was simple but I realised I hadn't authorised my my updated visa card so had to do that which meant I took a long time.
It was much easier than bookings.com
All went well thank you had no issues what so ever have sfayed here a few times and love were they ard situated

Surprised how much the hidden fees were. At a lost that I have too pay another $45.00 at check in.
