Used it a few times when i was looking for some alternatives other than the more known ones, and this one worked perfectly. The thing that caught my eye the first time i ever logged on the site was their extensive language and currency preferencers, they are pretty easy to set and the website interface is a little bit old-school which like. You don't really want flashy animations and shiny illustrations, you just want to book your hotel, get your confirmation, check some info about the hotel and get on with it. This site is particularly cool for that, prices are competitive and the website often provides pretty good deals and discounts as well. So, simple and east, streamlined, supportive, competitive, it has all the good ingredients to be a really good alternative.
Never booked through hotelone.com these scoundrels will trick you into booking a non-refundable hotel room with zero warning. Once you book, they bill you the full amount automatically and then it's almost impossible to get your credit card company to even reverse the charge. I had a booking a month in advance on a trip I had to cancel a month in advance & the hotel refused a refund as well!
After making our reservation I expected an immediate e-mail confirmation after waiting nearly two days I started making phone calls to be assured we had a room as reserved. I made 8 calls getting computer responses but not options for getting a confirmation. Finally I spoke to a real person at Marriott that pulled up my submission and he sent me an e-mail confirmation. I the mean time in my search for a real phone number to the Raphael hotel in Kansas City is saw several adds that left me feeling that I may not have got a good price for our room. I am not interested in HotelsOne service.

I didn't realize I was dealing with a third party bc I went to the hotel's website directly so when I got a confirmation from Hotel One it was a little confusing. Like I don't know now if I booked direct thru the hotel or if I was redirected to a Trivago type situation, which can affect the amenities and rewards for a repeat customer to a hotel. So it's kind of confusing. Communication and clarity could stand improvement.
The process was very easy but I did not receive my email confirmation into my regular column, instead into the spam side. Therefore, I had to make contact with you folks online to confirm reservation. Also, I contacted the hotel to confirm reservation to no avail. When will my hotel have this reservation on their end? Thank you.

I booked the wrong date for a hotel room. Now iv struggled to get this date change or even a response to help. They give u a email that you can reply on but no response. Iv tryed calling the phone number and it said it only for new Apts and to refur to email way. Very frustrating. Suggest not to use this company for booking anything
Thought I was booking thru Marriott hotels only to find out that for whatever reason it went to hotelsone.com which is actually travres.com which is located in central America! Yeah, got an confirmation via email but credit card charged up front... went to the hotel, checked in and in less than 6 hours beginning at 3am got 4 different phone calls from front desk that credit card had been stolen or compromised and person on phone was requesting for that information.,. Let the red flag warning begin... the individuals could not even speak English... so beware when booking thru the internet... call the hotel directly... still investigating this company...
I wanted to get rooms next to each other and the website doesn't help you and you can't reach the specific Motel, or I haven't been able to find the right number to do that. Less service than before they were purchased.

Having booked a hotel I find price much higher than hotel. Will not cancel. Tried to get conformation number and they refused. Cannot get information on room booked because hotel will not give information without confirmation number and booking site will not provide confirmation number. Catch 22. Use this site only if you want to pay more and love frustration.

They had a hotel I wanted
We were going to stay the end of March 29&30. We called and canceled before the16th and they gave a refund then turned around and charged some crazy amount. I have contacted them but they refuse to give me my money and refused to say why. They are a scam. Don't use them!
My reservation did not have an "R" in front of it so this gave me grief when I called the booking people by telephone. Had problems booking another night throu the site. Ended up getting in contact with hotel directly and was able to add a night. Neither he nor I could modify the online booking. Cancel button did not work, so couldn't start again
She was firm that without an R in my reservation number there was nothing she could do

They showed and misrepresented the class and size of room for the actual room class. When contacted them about issue was unsupportive.
I reserved a room for the Seton Hotel in NYC a full size bed room. The picture on Hotelsone.com was for a king size room. So to my chagrin and surprise when entered the room. I spoke with the Seton Hotel ad the advised me that Hotelsone posted a pic and they would contact them to change it. Additionally, they stated this issue was the fault of Hotels.one and so they were no corrective action on their part.
The customer service team at Hotelsone.com was unapologetic and rude. They stated nothing could be done compensate me for their misleading info.

The website requires that booking separate room types for the same dates must be reserved separately. I called the toll-free number to figure this out. I have four confirmation numbers, for separate bookings...

I called your phone which was in the booking confirmation email. There was no one answer the phone, it kept looping with voice message... it wasted half an hour my time... i reported this to the crime division of the police. I was exhausted in dealing with this in the evening to 10:30 pm, but no result

when i arrived to Admiral Inn hotel next day, The hotel helped me to call Expediate, who transferred to your call center. *******454, the lady call Anna was dealing with me. i told her about my situation, she said she would refund give me the full refund and cancelled the booking. she said that she needed her supervisor to approved it.... she left for a minute and come back. said everything goes as she said. i thanked her for this. but when the cancellation came in my email, you did not refund the full about $1047.74, only $889.67. This is criminal conduct, i will take this to the Better Business Bureau on Monday to report your company including Expediate
I booked the hotel online and was sent an email confirmation. The next day I have been sent an email to rate how HotelsOne have done and it seems there is no option not to give feedback otherwise the booking is at risk. All I can give feedback on is whether their booking system works and their feedback processes. My booking is not for another 4 months so until I arrive at the hotel and have my room confirmed I can't give feedback. As for the forced feedback from "sitejabber" - I don't rate this highly. It feels like a scam and the suggestion that the hotel booking won't be confirmed unless feedback is given is pushy and makes me worry.

Thought I was on the Wyndham website and it was these slimes showing to be Wyndahm to make a sale that gave them a hundred and twenty bucks over the actual cost. Kind of like me putting someone else's name on the side of my work van to kick up sales and make money. Should be illegal, maybe it is.
Liked the hotel being very close to restaurants and market. Staff was helpful. But rooms were in poor shape. I needed electric light, but the main light did not work in first room. It was quite poor in the second room we were given and there the window went to a narrow back alley. No hairdryer in the room.

We booked this hotel and we're very dismayed to find that our expectations were not correct. The hotel states breakfast is included and we know that as we have stayed here a number of times. On check in, we were told it was not included nor was parking as we did not book directly with the hotel. Not impressed!

Finally, there were a lot of add ones to the listed price for things that I won't use (like the business center). I really love the Edgewater but this experience was a bit cheesy.

Stayed here before. Excellent! We stayed at this hotel 10 years ago for our daughter's wedding. It was excellent and they were very accommodating. We had purchased some champagne and they allowed us to use the living room area off the lobby for our family to gather and enjoy the champagne. They even provided the glasses. We are staying again for our daughter's birthday party in the area.

I tried to make a booking using booking.com but couldn't get past the credit card detail which was really annoying - kept telling me the form was incomplete despite trying several times on different devices, and the price was $30 more than the booking.com website. So, I went directly to the James Cook Hotel website which directed me to HotelsOne. Worked perfectly and at the discounted price!
I needed to know if the dog was acceptable and even though I checked off dog, here was no confirmation that the dog would be accepted when we got there. It was also hard to tell if the rooms were ground floor or not as the site said it was all one level and then referred to stairs. Or if they faced the lake or the garden and if that mattered in any way to the comfort or usefulness of the room. I had to phone and talk to the front desk to get my questions answered but still so not quite know what to expect. Other sites I have used showed a picture of exactly which room I was booking so I knew what I was getting.
I did not choose hotelsone. I chose the property on the basis of a drive by last year when we were in Williams Lake. It was next to impossible to get the actual hotel to come up on line instead of numerous booking sites or I would not have used a booking site as they are all annoying and a waste of allot of time compared to just phoning the hotel and getting one's questions answered right away.

I was trying to get a room for a night and did not realize that there was an event in town. Even lower-priced hotels were sky-high. I went a few towns away on the site and was able to book a good room.
It was a clear advertisement and seemed straight-forward.
It is not clear that the credit card details requested will be used to pay for the booking at the time. Other companies do Pay when you get there and just need CC details to secure the booking.
Won't be using you again.
