Used it a few times when i was looking for some alternatives other than the more known ones, and this one worked perfectly. The thing that caught my eye the first time i ever logged on the site was their extensive language and currency preferencers, they are pretty easy to set and the website interface is a little bit old-school which like. You don't really want flashy animations and shiny illustrations, you just want to book your hotel, get your confirmation, check some info about the hotel and get on with it. This site is particularly cool for that, prices are competitive and the website often provides pretty good deals and discounts as well. So, simple and east, streamlined, supportive, competitive, it has all the good ingredients to be a really good alternative.
Never booked through hotelone.com these scoundrels will trick you into booking a non-refundable hotel room with zero warning. Once you book, they bill you the full amount automatically and then it's almost impossible to get your credit card company to even reverse the charge. I had a booking a month in advance on a trip I had to cancel a month in advance & the hotel refused a refund as well!
I was not able to get in touch with the hotel that I chose before I booked. Streets were blocked off so that I could not get to the hotel until late. The general experience at the hotel was Extremely stressful. I hope I never need this service again.

The booking went fine online. My concern was that we are bringing our little dog and I wasn't sure I booked a pet friendly room. I'm still not sure! But I put pet friendly in the parameters when choosing a hotel.

The original hotel I was booking for didn’t book my hotel room, spent an hour trying to get assistance and at the end I ended up not getting my room. I looked for more options and saw that they had rooms for booking on HotelsOne.
Disappointed that the price was £50 more than I earlier saw, just couldnt get to book room after I put in date, as its so special to us to use this hotel I bit the bullet and have paid it, such a shame, as £50 is a lot of money to us, thankyou,

I had a good stay But after I returned home I realized I did not have a receipt for the hotel cost. I called the hotel and they. Said I would have to contact Expedia. I have not had any luck contacting Expedia. Frustrating as hell

Booked a room in Rossland, B. C. (Prestige Mountain Resort) on Hotelsone.com and within the hour noticed that the price was in American funds. For a Canadian, that means an added 25 to 30 per cent to the bill. I was charged a booking service fee of $14.99 US, plus the cost of the hotel room ($189 US), even though I cancelled within an hour of booking. The room cancellation, four days away from expected arrival, was well within the stated time frame needed to cancel without penalty. Almost a month after the booking, still pursuing the $189 US for a room I didn't use. I'll chock up the loss of the booking fee to experience: i. E. never to go through Hotelsone.com again. I would rate Hotelsone.com "no stars" -- if such an option were available on this site.
Who is sitejabber? Who is HotelsOne? I transacted with the Whitney Hotel. The sitejabber email looked like spam. Nowhere did it refer to the hotel i booked at. I am nervously responding after matching confirmation numbers. Annoyed I had to do that

I needed to cancel a reservation and was unable to do so via the website which was annoying. I ended up calling and was able to cancel without issue but I should have been able to cancel on the website.

I knew the dates and location I wanted. It was available and I booked it. The cancellation policy is very liberal. I will say I was surprised with the hundreds of rooms they have there that it said there were only a few rooms available. That seemed odd being that it is for June of 2023.

As other reviews I have seen I believed I was booking directly with the hotel we were staying at and did not know this until we had to make changes and called the hotel. Then when we discovered the facility was a dump and we got the worst room in the place which now makes sense. When we wanted to cancel the rest of our stay it was like jumping through hoops and never got a confirmation for our $730 refund so we can kiss that money goodbye. NEVER EVER USE this company,
While the rooms are nothing over the top. They are comfortable and serve the purpose.
The staff are the boom. There is no request to hard or imposing for them. Their friendly and so helpful.
The meals from the bistro are tops and the fact that they will bring them to your room.
Would recommend to anyone.

Just had to regretfully cancel a hotel booking on HotelOne and that site is the only one that didn't give any money back. I had booked a whole week's worth of hotels, car and flights and HotelsOne is the only booking that gave no money back. Small family run hotels gave money back but not HotelsOne. Very disappointed and will never book with them again.

We checked out of the hotel after 3 hours due to a large amount of blood splatter on the bottom of the picture frame above the bed. The hotel had no problems releasing us and stating that we would get a refund. HotelsOne website shows the refund from the hotel but THEY refuse to lease the refund. It has been over a week with nothing but excuses. They keep saying that the hotel has to confirm the refund and refuse to address that the refund due is showing on THEIR website under MyBookings.
Im a Canadian federal employee, booked from Canada for a Canadian hotel and requested Canadian Government rate. I later learned that I had not called the hotel but actually hotels one and on book king in learned the rate was in USA dollars and more than the hotel rate. The hotel noted its a common scam. I called them and was told I should have realized it was USA dollars... I noted I was calling a CAnadian hotel from Canada... I will be taking this up with visa.,,,, what a scam
Easy to book our last minute trip! I was waiting to see how Hurricane Ian would affect our trip to visit colleges, so I waited to secure the hotel. Glad I did-the price was just as good as the hotels who offered discounts for Eckerd families.

Ordered 2 rooms, tried to make it a 3rd room, going back and forth between orders seemed to get mixed up in cache and problem selecting # of rooms. Eventually worked it out, but wasn't as smooth as I had hoped. Not unhappy, but had a few difficulties. Called HotelsOne, but basically they just gave instructions on what to do on the web... so calling customer service was pointless. They were nice, but if your only answer is "do it on the web page", well that isn't always helpful even if it is my fault for messing up the order. Your person was not unpleasant or anything, they just weren't useful and since I eventually figured it out on the web, all is ok.
They were pleasant, sounded professional and nice.... but did not solve any problems other than to point me back to do things on the web page. Probably won't call customer service again.
I needed 1 room for 2 nights, one on the 29th of September and one on the 4th of October. I booked my first room with no problem. The problem started when I tried to book my second room. Their computer kept changing my date from 10/4 back to 9/29. After many tries, I thought I had successfully booked but when I got my confirmation the computer had reverted back to 9/29. Now I had 2 rooms on the 29 and none on 10/4. I called and tried to get through to customer service but there is no one to talk to, just a computer. I repeatedly requested to speak with an agent. All I got was a goodbye from the computer. Stay away from this website! They steal your money!
I was trying to cancel 2 nights and two rooms at a hotel in Guadalajara, Mex in Feb 2020.
Warning U, if you try to change or cancel a reservation, it takes for ever as their system is down most of the time like 80% per day so they send U a generic e-mail saying sorry but our system in down and next day you might get an answer asking you again to send a memo to them to reconfirm your demand or changes and you are lucky if you get a real answer if not AGAIN the generic message our system is down at the moment!? What is this in 2019. So you get caught in a loop; after more than a week of this ridiculous game of Not Being Efficient at all, they finally put their act together to tell me it's cancelled now so lets see as they says it could take few days to get my credit back, crossing my fingers!
I thought I was dealing with the hotel I was trying to book, directly. I made my reservation and shortly afterward realized the dates were not going to work. I cancelled the reservation and was immediately told I would not receive a refund of my 1990. 00.
I asked to reinstate the reservation and they told me no. I would have to make a nw reservation and pay the amount in full again. NO WAY TO RECOVER almost 2000. 00.
Please don't use this company or website. I have lodged complaints everywhere online that I can, including the BBB (which this company is not endorsed by).

When I booked the reservation I did not realize they would charge my credit card for the entire amount. I also read in the fine print that if I canceled after May 5,2022 I would be charged for one night stay per room. I did not book the reservation until September 12,2022, so they will automatically charge me for one night stay for all 3 rooms if I would have canceled as soon as they charged my credit card for the room. Probably will not use HotelsOne again
