I placed an order and the company has gone dark. Nobody answers the phone... nobody returns emails and my item was never shipped. They charged my credit card the day I placed the order and now I am fighting to get several hundred dollars refunded. Stay Away!

Awful to do business with. Supplied wrong part information even after I pointed out that what they were saying didn't make sense i. E. that a 290HP non-turbo and a 355HP twin turbo engine would both benefit from the SAME exhaust system, even though it would mean downgrading from a full twin pipe system to a single system on the turbo. They do not, and did not, respond to emails requesting they place the order on hold until the parts issue had been resolved. Eventually they called back and acknowledged that the part number was wrong and promised to switch it over to the correct one. I then told them that I wanted to cancel the order which they agreed to and said they would send cancellation confirmation the next day. Four days later the wrong part number shows up at my door. Still no cancellation confirmation and still no refund. These guys have no knowledge about car parts, not even rookie level.

After waiting 3 months they finally said i will get a refund. I told them i paid with a prepaid card that i didnt have anymore. They will need to send a cheque.
They didnt listen and now im screwed out of my. Muffler and my money.

BBB give hottexhaust 7 out 8 scathing reviews out of 8. Each mention customer service is poor, they would give no stars out of five if they could. Each mention John in customer service as being the person everything has to go through and he is rude and presents attitude over the phone to customers. I am waiting over two and a half months for my exhaust which they took money for immediately and won't even give me a date when I could expect delivery. Isn't that bordering on fraud? John is terribly rude on the phone and could care less about even pretending to be interested in customer service.

I needed new catalytic converters for my 911. I looked everywhere. Porsche found me some exhausts in Germany, but it would be a 3 week wait. They had OEM replacements from Magnaflow, so I look forward to getting these installed. The prices from everyone were outrageous, but they had fair prices and then a 20% discount, WOOOO HOOOO. I ordered the cats and they were here in days. I can say, they were not "blowing hot air out of their butts", and delivered as promised. I highly recommend you search www.hottexhaust.com first and save your self some time and money. Thank you again, look forward to installing the cats.

Magnaflow is known for their quality products and HOTT Exhaust should be known for their solid customer service. On a holiday weekend someone contacted me via email and made the changes to my order so that it could ship with the proper product Monday! This is after I made a mistake. I ordered a full exhaust from headers back cost 1500 on August 13 2020 after calling multiple times (they never answer there phone ever) I finally got an email thats states back ordered. I emailed again and asked for a full refund because were a month in and no exhaust yet. So I get an email almost right away but it was not a refund it was a tracking # i thought ok at least ill have the exhaust. Nope wrong again instead of refunding me then sent half my order stating the other half is on the way. Well its November 24 2020 and I have yet to see my full order. Yeah I have a tracking # But that was for 3 weeks ago. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY they don't care about customer service. I have proof of everything I just wrote. I tried to review hotexhaust them selves but I'm pending approval lol

After months of this item being backordered through another site, I was able to order this through Hottexhuast.com and it was delivered in 3 business days. My only question is: Where the heck were you 3 months ago when I was attempting to get this part then?

I left a 5 star review when I received my Magnaflow cat-back dual exhaust system, a couple of months ago. The Colorado weather prevented me from installing it.
I just installed it and wow, what a difference. Now my 05 Dodge Dakota sounds great! I should have made the upgrade a long time ago. I really enjoy driving my truck now! My 4.7l HIGH OUTPUT V8 has never sounded so good. Now it has a deeper sound, (kind of like a race car) and it feels a little more powerful.

Do not buy from this company! Total nightmare. They take your money and pull a David Copperfield on you. I can't believe they have not been shut down. Had to get PayPal involved. I bet I called 50+ times and NEVER did anyone answer. I sent 10+ E-MAILS... POOOOF... DAVID COPPERFIELD! Do what you will but don't say I didn't warn you.

TOOK $1000 on my CC, did not deliver Magnaflow exhaust. Contacted Magnaflow and the Part was discontinued years ago Magnaflow never received a PO from HOTEXHAUST. The don't answer the phone and Call block customers with complaints and forward it to voice mail. Once they have your $$ your call blocked! You will never reach another real person again. Orders outstanding. They don't return calls or Emails. Have filed a Compliant with CC VISA. Don't delay you complaint to your CC company. Sent me defective unit, bailed when pushed to correct their mistake. 'We'll just send you a return label because we're not going to be able to ship the right one'. Idiots. Both of these dipsticks have the personality of cardboard cut outs. Maybe their a little irritated because they can't run the business they own? Stay away-buy from reputable parts supplier because these clowns will let you down over and over. Google the address-it's some little hillbilly strip mall in Canada. THERE IS NO REASON WHY THEIR LINK SHOULD END UP AT THE TOP OF ANY SEARCH ENGINE ON THE WEB. They're just not any good.

The part was received in just a few days. Will install it this week.
As an unexpected surprise, they are offering up to $75 for the return of the core.

SO, I called in for some information based on a referral from another shop, and the person who answered to phone had absolutely NO PATIENCE! It was clear that if you were not asking him questions that he wanted to answer short and fast, he had not time for your call and even said out loud that he was hearing the questions and insinuated that it was the caller that had a issue and perhaps needed to speak to another person, which I politely agreed, then he slapped us on hold and left us there. BAD BUSINESS! I am in customer service and if I treated people from all walks who called in, then I would not even have a job to write a review. All we can do is pray for angry people today and bless them!

I was looking on-line for 2 catalytic converters, found HOTT Exhaust, looked at their ratings, called to make sure they were legit, and received them 3 days later. Yay! John was great!

My first order with HOTT Exhaust has put them at the top of my list! Everything I wanted was available -- at a GREAT price -- and shipping was super fast. I only wish they had told me in advance they would require a signature upon delivery because I could have sent the parts to where I was working (SIGH).

Had part for California qualifications and sent my part quickly. I also loved the price and fact I get a rebate and free returning to get rebate on convertor! I love to save money

I received my muffler in just three days. I installed it myself and got my Honda up and running right away. Thank you guys for all the help. I highly recommend you to anybody.

I have dealt with this business many times over the years, and I always get the same results. Free shipping, actual intelligent advice, always the best price on Magnaflow products, always trying to help out where they can. I see reviews on here saying they want a refund and shipping takes too long but what else do you expect? We're in a PANDEMIC full of supply chain shortages. If they say a product is on backorder, it's because Magnaflow trusted them enough to tell them straight up about the delays. Any other distributor will lie to your face and tell you they have stock- WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE IF THE MAGNAFLOW FACTORY ITSELF IS OUT OF STOCK! Use your brains people. If you can, ask for Oren or Valentina in customer service- they're awesome!

I bough a California certified cat for my 2013 Ford explorer in 0ctober 21 2019, paid almost $600 for it and $200 to get it installed. My car kept having same problem (cat code) my mechanic told me it was a faulty cat, so I contacted H. E after severals attempts finally someone responded and asked me for some test results which my mechanic did thru a computer and submitted them to H. E. I was ask to take cat to a local manufacturer in San Fernando California just to be told the cat had burns marks so for that reason warranty was void? And that my car had misfires so on so fort, the guy at counter seemed to be determined to make look like that he knew more than my certified mechanic. Anyways no money back, no replacement no warranty. So frustrating not getting help I gave up dealing with these people. Finally I saw a video on YouTube how to clean the Cat and I cleaned my original, put it back in my truck and code went away and car running properly. Please think twice to buy from this company. I ordered a muffler over a month ago and have been leaving emails and voicemails for over 2 weeks. Not 1 call back or response from anyone.
And still no muffler.

I was extremely disappointed that my order did not arrive on time. The order's arrival was pending! Customer service was contacted. I did not receive any responses, however!
