Not only are some of their prices a bit high for some stuff, like nearly $20 for a simple EcoPlus Bug Screen w/ Carbon Insert, where on Amazon it's under $10,... but their reviews are also filtered, to keep negative reviews, or lower than 5-stars, off their site.
That's just flatly wrong, and doesn't give the potential customer a fair and honest idea of what the quality really is for the product they're looking for.
I tried posting 3 reviews for the 3 products I already purchased, but never had them posted on the HydroBuilder website.
And NO, I didn't use any foul language, or other type of negative remark about the product or company, other than a truthful impression of how I felt about the products quality.
After posting the review, I saw a small notation on the page saying...
"Your review has been accepted for moderation"
So I know it got to them, but they never posted it online.
My guess is, because I didn't give the companies products a 5-star review, it never made it to the actual review page for the products I purchased.
This is outright fraud on their part.
How is a customer supposed to get any idea what type of quality the product has, if this HydroBuilder website just has favorable 'happy' reviews being allowed on there?
I have a genuine mistrust for website merchants who FILTER the reviews left on their site.
And suggest to anyone looking at purchasing from HydroBuilder, to look at another merchant instead.
