One day when I got on the Ibotta app to look at the items they were promoting I noticed that my balanced dropped from my total that I had earned to 0.00. I was panicking. I did everything I could do to rectify the issue myself. I finally reached out to the Ibotta care team and they worked with me until I recovered the funds that were missing. I was impressed on how they helped me out. They were wonderful and listened to the issues I was having. It was a blessing working with them.
Most of the time it is great, but lately I have been having issues with "Can't read receipt." And it is getting very frustrating.

I bought per your directions on the app in store and the grands 8 count cinnamon rolls got first had no rebate. So read carefully and got the pilsbury grands 5 count deluxe cinnamon rolls and purchased two on your app in store and app said it qualified with a green check. Get home app states doesn't quilify now?
First off, thank you as always for your help! Sometimes I will get a snarky person who just doesn't care to help and are pretty rude...but 9 times out of 10, they are understanding if I read the small print incorrectly. I don't know why buy my linked accounts are not automatically adding my offers when I purchase them so it's like every single shopping trip lately I have had to write in. Ted, who I had today was awesome and added offers manually...thank you Ted! 🥰
Ibotta was so great to help me with getting credit for the other 2 items on my receipt that didn't initially scan. Their customer service team is awesome

After Jewel-Osco updated the format of their receipts, the app has been unable to correctly read them. Instead of having a separate line for each item, the receipts now show quantity on a single line (ie: "3@"). Despite scanning the barcodes in the app on approved purchases to ensure the correct number of items is being recognized, it still comes back saying only one item was purchased. Then it is several days before an actual human reviews the receipt and manually applies the remaining balance. On top of all this, you miss out on the correct number of items purchased going towards any bonuses you have. Customer service just tells you they cannot help with bonuses. I have explained this situation ad nauseam to ibotta, nothing seems to get updated or fixed.

Answer: Absolutely so true! I earned up just over $100 and when I went to cash out they said I was fraudulent YET I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT and all submissions were valid. It took me months to get to this amount. Hmmmmm Class action anyone?

I sent 5 requests for help in a week and they finally responded by deactivating my account and keeping the 360.00 that took me months to accumulate. They claim I tampered with a date on a receipt and I just crossed off the account number. So they can keep my money that is mine. How can I get my money back?

Answer: Go to your $amount and cash out and it will say bank or gift card.

Answer: You have to email the morons that run their customer support at least 3 times before you'll get the proper amount credited to your account.
