I have been trying to reach a live support person to no avail. I keep getting reversals of earnings which are incorrect and I can't reach anyone to dispute the reversals.
Not only are the product selections limited they are also store dependent. I shop at different stores and it's hard enough to remember to add the coupon but then you have to check to see which store it is good for? Then you have to scan a long receipt and hope the app gives you the proper amount back. Usually I have errors, especially when I buy more than one of each item. Every time I think I am in the right I am shot down and overruled by the app. Took me forever to get to my "limit" of $20.

I scand the jack links tender bites you have come back twice saying the offer is ineligible when I scaned them in the store it says item matches then when I submit the receipt you can't find the offer it is the 3rd item on the re eipt and there was no coupon used
My rebate is taking longer. Not sure if it's something new. I have been waiting for a rebate from Walmart since July. I have done other rebates for purchases that took place after and they have already credited to my account.

I had an issue with redeeming some cash for items I purchased. I emailed ibotta and not only did they credit my account right away, but Ian, the customer service representative, saw I hadn't activated cash back for recurring items and issued me credit for those also. I love ibotta!
This was my first time using and I found everything in the store by checking the bar code. Checked out and scanned my receipt and submitted it. My savings were posted within minutes. Then when I tried to withdraw my funds it wouldn't let me. Now I'm seeing a notification that they are having problems with retailers and don't know when I can get it. I was smiling until then. Now I'm just frustrated.submitted a claim ticket and received a notice that problem was resolved. Tried to withdraw earnings to my PayPal account and got a notice that they think there's a problem. Went to help care team chat and now waiting again for a response.
I could work on having a little patience myself. It can be frustrating to have to email multiple times to get credit for your purchases. But I have to say that my issues have always been handled correctly and with kindness. The extra money I earn with ibotta is helpful in today's economy. It's simple to use and it's NOT a scam! I recommend it to everyone.
My store card was invalid so my points didn't register ($6) and there was no place to scan a receipt, after a few back and forth conversations they looked at my receipt and gave me the money that was due. Personally I think there should always be a place to scan receipt in case you don't have that store loyalty card

Every company has its quirk's, & everyone has an opinion. I have been wrong in some of my tickets, they overlooked some products, but Ibotta mostly makes me smile when they complete customer service problem. Keeping good with their promise.
They are a huge company, have many complaints, but just hang tight & you all get an answer.

I am overly impressed with Jay and the quick way my issue was resolved. I, like others, have had issues over the many years I have dealt with Ibotta, however, they are good about looking into my issue and resolving the problem. And for those times when I misread something, they have been gracious and explained why the outcome was as it was. I enjoy using Ibotta and in this economy, anytime I can save money, it's a good thing.
Most of the time the app does a good job. Today, shopping at Albertson's, I was due $3.25. Scanned the receipt, and it couldn't fine 3 items. Two of them were the very first items I scanned at store. Used "I'm missing cash back," scanned the barcodes and submitted. Ending up doing this 3 times. Here's a hint...when I have cash back items, I leave them on my counter for quick access. This used to happen a lot, but the past 6 months no issues. But here we go again.
Food Lion linked account has changed from crediting the day after shopping to three days after shopping. Hard to plan on making bonuses. This just recently started happening

While I realize mistakes happen It is so hard to get yous to fix it and when yous do yous make it seem like yous are doing people a favor and not fixing your mistakes. Answer: Absolutely so true! I earned up just over $100 and when I went to cash out they said I was fraudulent YET I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT and all submissions were valid. It took me months to get to this amount. Hmmmmm Class action anyone?

I sent 5 requests for help in a week and they finally responded by deactivating my account and keeping the 360.00 that took me months to accumulate. They claim I tampered with a date on a receipt and I just crossed off the account number. So they can keep my money that is mine. How can I get my money back?

Answer: You have to email the morons that run their customer support at least 3 times before you'll get the proper amount credited to your account.
