A Great Shopper's Money Saver!

Not only a great app for saving money while shopping, but even lets you know if you've missed an offer. Only thing missing is a way to have all your saved offers available on a separate screen so you don't have to search to make sure you haven't missed one.

Thus is such a great app. It is easy to use and the rewards add up. I gave it 4 stars because the app has glitches once in a while. You can link several stores like Walmart and CVS to your Ibotta account and selected rewards will automatically added and they will alert you if they think you missed a reward. They also offer rewards for online shopping.

Refuses to read receipts

I find the app easy to locate eligible deals. I load them to my list. I even snag the barcodes on the items to ensure they are indeed eligible. They are very clearly listed in the receipt and this app still continues to say ineligible because it does not match receipt. Is this just a scam?

Dissatisfied

Is difficult to submit a picture of the receipts, can't read the receipt, if receipts are long it won't submitted. Easier on other apps

Customer Service Has Problems

I have been trying to reach a live support person to no avail. I keep getting reversals of earnings which are incorrect and I can't reach anyone to dispute the reversals.

Too much work for too little payback

Not only are the product selections limited they are also store dependent. I shop at different stores and it's hard enough to remember to add the coupon but then you have to check to see which store it is good for? Then you have to scan a long receipt and hope the app gives you the proper amount back. Usually I have errors, especially when I buy more than one of each item. Every time I think I am in the right I am shot down and overruled by the app. Took me forever to get to my "limit" of $20.

I scand the jack links tender bites you have come back twice saying the offer is ineligible when I scaned them in the store it says item matches then when I submit the receipt you can't find the offer it is the 3rd item on the re eipt and there was no coupon used

Pending Transaction

My rebate is taking longer. Not sure if it's something new. I have been waiting for a rebate from Walmart since July. I have done other rebates for purchases that took place after and they have already credited to my account.

I had an issue with redeeming some cash for items I purchased. I emailed ibotta and not only did they credit my account right away, but Ian, the customer service representative, saw I hadn't activated cash back for recurring items and issued me credit for those also. I love ibotta!

Still Frustrated

This was my first time using and I found everything in the store by checking the bar code. Checked out and scanned my receipt and submitted it. My savings were posted within minutes. Then when I tried to withdraw my funds it wouldn't let me. Now I'm seeing a notification that they are having problems with retailers and don't know when I can get it. I was smiling until then. Now I'm just frustrated.submitted a claim ticket and received a notice that problem was resolved. Tried to withdraw earnings to my PayPal account and got a notice that they think there's a problem. Went to help care team chat and now waiting again for a response.

Ibotta attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

Have some patience

I could work on having a little patience myself. It can be frustrating to have to email multiple times to get credit for your purchases. But I have to say that my issues have always been handled correctly and with kindness. The extra money I earn with ibotta is helpful in today's economy. It's simple to use and it's NOT a scam! I recommend it to everyone.

My store card was invalid so my points didn't register ($6) and there was no place to scan a receipt, after a few back and forth conversations they looked at my receipt and gave me the money that was due. Personally I think there should always be a place to scan receipt in case you don't have that store loyalty card

They did it!

I have been a member of the Ibotta community for several years. Have made over 1 thousands or more.
Every company has its quirk's, & everyone has an opinion. I have been wrong in some of my tickets, they overlooked some products, but Ibotta mostly makes me smile when they complete customer service problem. Keeping good with their promise.
They are a huge company, have many complaints, but just hang tight & you all get an answer.
