The company exhibits a mixed reputation, with some customers praising the functionality and user-friendly design of their software products, particularly for data management tasks. However, a significant number of reviews highlight persistent issues with customer service, including unresponsive support channels, difficulties in obtaining refunds, and software that fails to perform as advertised. Many users express frustration over delayed responses and inadequate assistance, leading to a perception of the company as untrustworthy. Overall, while there are positive experiences, the prevailing sentiment suggests that potential customers should approach with caution due to unresolved service concerns.

I purchased Imobie after a factory reset had to be done on my phone and not everything was recovered, unfortunately for what I needed it did not work for me, BUT I will say the customer service was impeccable. He quickly answered my questions & offered solutions, and when he realized the system couldn't retrieve what I needed he canceled my subscription & issued a refund.
Attempted to use their product and even attempted to purchase it with a money back guarantee, only problem is their site tells me my 20+ year old email is not "valid". How the heck can you tell me my email is not valid? I have had some issues over the years with my email as it has an underscore at the end of my name and unless the company has its software engineers fix the issue, for get trying to get through. Is there a phone contact? Noooooo! Have to purchase the software to get support, but can't get support because I don't have a valid email! And the wheels on the bus go round and round
I bought a Samsung phone from a man, everything is fine in the first week, but suddenly it was locked by FRP, I had no idea what should I do, finally, I found this DroidKit software, which helped me remove that lock, and I can use my phone again.
After many failed attempts with all methods I can find, finally, AnyTrans is the one that saved my life. Now all my WhatsApp chats and pictures on Samsung S10 are moved to my new iPhone 13.
I cannot believe this company hasn't been shut down, and that their fake reviews are still the majority of what you will initially find when doing a quick search. DO NOT buy from them. So, You purchase the software online from imobie, then "Paddle" is who charges you $60 for two emails that do not contain clear installation instructions, and a fake license key. They tell you that your password is your email. It's not. You write them an email. You write them ten emails. Each email is promptly responded to by a person who is *just* coherent and apologetic enough to convince you that even though it is a different rep every email, it's not a bot. (It definitely isn't Jen or Carl or John, though, just in case you're wondering)
So "Paddle" let's you know that their stupid rep is super sorry that their merchant messed up, and that they have blind carbon copied this email to the merchant, and the merchant is going to get in touch with you any time. So that. Ones on for six months of your year long $60 subscription. Then one day you freak out and send like, 900 emails, and Sarah and Bill and Christy and James are all really super sorry and they all blind carbon copy the crap out of your emails, but dang it, imobie just doesn't even give a peep of attention. So then you offer to assist "Paddle" in gaining their attention and you ask for their super secret contact info. Paddle happily sends you a link that your virus protection software identifies as a highly dangerous identity theft virus. So you screenshot that and send it back to paddle. They are super concerned and blind carbon copy imobie right away to figure out what's up.
Okay, so this goes on like this for a really long time, and my thumbs are tired. But in April, as it stands right now, I'll be getting charged another $60 for my "subscription to nothing yearly renewal" from paddle.
Don't buy this thing. And for Christ sake, report this to the BBB people, because why is this company still boldly the top hit online with good reviews? Jesus.
Purchased a $60.00 subscription for a personal license of a software that doesn't work, even though I followed every step they list. Everything looks pretty legit, and if you do a quick google search you can find some good reviews, but after doing a more thorough research (something I didn't made at the moment bc I was desperate for a solution of losing some info from my iPhone, and they freaking know that!) turns out most (if not all) reviews are fake. I was out 60 bucks, tried to ask for a refund, the "costumer service" answered me A MONTH LATER, telling they didn't see any problem with my software (and that they wipe their $#*! with my refund request), so I gave up on that and moved on, I tried to cancel the subscription, but there's nowhere in the webpage remotely related to that, instead you need to fill a "contact me" box with your info (mail and activation code), and hope they have mercy on you and deactivate your subscription, but that never happens. I forgot about that, and one year later turns out I didn't know I singed up for an "automatic renewal", so they charged me again, and I was really pissed this time, but there's virtually nothing to do about it other than cancel your card and $#*!ting on them wherever you can to prevent another poor bastard from being scammed by these lowlifes.
The application crashed several times in my Mac and the both phones making the migration impossible to be done. I regret I paid for this solution since its not a solution at all.
Oh crap. I just bought PhoneRescue but when I try to activate it, it says "Server Error". I've been messaging on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and email, and have gotten no response. So I Googled "iMobie scam" and found this page. The 5-star reviews all sound fake. And the many 1-star reviews all say this is a scam and everyone has lost their money. Great. So now I have to call my credit card to try to get my money back. What a waste of time. Oh, and see attached images. It says Server Error to start, and then it changes to Your Order Information Is Invalid. So they can't even decide what excuse they're using to scam me. (By the way, I was trying to use PhoneRescue to recover my WhatsApp messages and it did show a bunch of messages that it was supposed to recover. So it seemed legit. So be warned - It might look real, but this company is a scam.) O
The iMobie AppTrans doesn't work as described on the website. The iMobie software appeared to be a complete scam.
Just like others, this product is a total scam, and the subscription auto renewed with no way to get a refund... the customer support system is broken.
PhoneRescue is the best app that I've ever used! It's so wonderful that helps me recover my deleted data by mistake in a flash. No data loss is what I didn't expect. Great app, thank you very much!
My wife and I both use iPhones, and we sometimes want to share music and photos, and we can transfer them manually too slowly. Although I have to pay, AnyTrans is the product I want to transfer a lot of data at once, like music, photos, videos. And it's also very easy to use.
Bought a second-hand iPhone X but the seller didn't remove Apple ID, I knew the screen passcode only. IMobie's AnyUnlock helped me remove that. Thanks a lot!
I bought AnyTrans about a year ago. The software interface looks great to me. I love its modern and minimal design. It helped me manage to back up my iPhone content. One of the greatest points is, unlike iTunes only allows full backup, AnyTrans provides a more flexible backup function. Overall, a not-bad experience.
AnyTrans is good software. Recently I changed the iPhone 7 to iPhone 12, the transmission speed is very fast, very easy to use as they said. And the interface design is very good.
The software itself is decent when it works. I owned this for a couple weeks and it stopped working out of nowhere. I contacted customer service maybe 15 times now in 5 days. Can't get help or even a response. Stay away from Imobie... Apeaksoft is just as good. Tenor share and Stellar are good as well. But Imobie is hot garbage.
Not even one star! Total waste of money. Didn't recover what I wanted and now I am trying to cancel my "subscription" because I only paid for one year and now find out that it will automatically renew when due. When I try to submit my request I get "failed to submit. Try again later". Useless to request a refund after reading others' experiences.
PhoneRescue for Android product listed to work without needing a root. Software then tried to root the phone. It failed. It gave me a link to the company's top three picks of software to root the phone. Not a single one was real. I sent a refund ticket. When I went to check the status of the ticket it asked me to sign in to my account. I had never been prompted to create one so I chose sign in with google account. When I went to set up the account from there it claimed I already had one.
Its a virus, downloaded this to clear storage off my phone and now its been stuck at the starting up screen.
Watch Out! These people will rip you off!
Paid for there software but didn't received the software and did not get my money back. This is a SCAM people watch out!
They work with Digital River and Mycommerce as a payment provider. They tell you your creditcard isn't working and will let you pay with alternive methods!
