I am a freight broker and stumbled across this website. It is a really helpful tool for my business. I am able to look up import records for companies I am trying to work with or existing customers. It provides valuable insight on the amount of freight certain companies have coming in, which port it's going into, when it's expected to arrive. Pretty much everything you would need to know in order to quote business to a company is handed to you it's a really helpful tool.

If you're looking for bill of ladding details, imports data etc. it's a must in your business company.

When you need to find another customer as well it could be a great option.

Importkey.com is one of the online tools that require a subscription to be able to search in their database. They have competitors like Panjiva which is a product of a reputable company like S&P where you get more features than importkey, such as map visualizations.
I paid $49.99, for one month, however you have limited amount of suppliers to view per day (only 20) and you have 2 years of history available.
A disadvantage is that duplicates are too much. Also user interface of some competitors is better.

Importkey is an excellent database than provides data on company names, Harmonized Schedule Code, quantity traded in kilograms, buyers, suppliers, and some of the relationships among these. For a reasonable price, one can carry out unlimited searches and download data results. As an academic researcher, a plus is that Importkey allows one to publish data results in journal publications. In addition, customer support is excellent.

They steal your sensitive data and share it publicly and when you request them via their help email address and phone they do not reply back! How can you trust a company with no support? And no integrity?

This is not working,
Cannot not even do a simple Port search.
Can t find most such Miami Port, New York, Los Angeles or Houston.
Useless, this is a Scam. I have been using other services in the past and wanted to try this service tha was slighly cheaper. Big mistake.

They charged my credit card 225 Usd. I asked them to refund me within minutes when i realised how bad this was. I got an answer stating all purchased ar finals/

Have used import key for a number of different use cases and have always been happy with the tool. Customer support has been extremly helpful and responsive whenever needed!

Was looking for import related data to support my key business decision. Was able to use Importkey and search international sellers that were already into the business. Would certainly recommend anyone to leverage Importkey before making any import related decisions and find reliable suppliers.

Honestly, Importkey is much better than other platforms in terms of prices and information delivered.! Minute details are considered and they provide every inch of information which should be helpful in decision making! For example trading partners, shipment volumes. Adding to that each shipment record has tons of information.

Advance search option is something an icing on the cake! You can search by whatever means Hs code, shipper name, or even vessel name.

Other platfroms are charging 300'USD ATLEAST for the same information and Importkey is better in terms of delivering quality.
Its price is even less than a normal dinner at a restaurant!
