Importkey.com is one of the online tools that require a subscription to be able to search in their database. They have competitors like Panjiva which is a product of a reputable company like S&P where you get more features than importkey, such as map visualizations.
I paid $49.99, for one month, however you have limited amount of suppliers to view per day (only 20) and you have 2 years of history available.
A disadvantage is that duplicates are too much. Also user interface of some competitors is better.
I used the imporkey for around 3 months and I liked, the only problem was it seems they count your search even you had put some wrong information and the report didn't shows up. But it's affordable value.
While other data sites offer more in depth searches as well as a longer history, ImportKey has a fair price which is more affordable, as well as shipping updates daily or even a few times in one day compared to others where one would have to wait a couple of days or even a week.
Great site... easy to navigate... everything you could want for half the price of the big boys. If you're in the import/export space you must have this tool!
