It's Just Lunch

Jaiye listens closely to my preferences and has been super responsive and attentive to my needs during the matching process for dating. He has expertly and intuitively taken my needs and preferences and made great matches for me during this process.

I have been a member with IJL for 11 month (since the end of November 2023). For the first 7 month I was very unsatisfied with the service I was getting, in other words I was not getting any service at all. In July 2024 I was contacted by agent Marina who was a matchmaker for the guy who was interested to meet with me. I really liked Ms. Marina's approach and professionalism in matchmaking and for the first time I experienced the best service in IJL and I requested Ms. Marina if she could be my matchmaker. I started getting more and more dates with great man in town since Ms. Marina took over my case. My rate for Ms. Marina is 5/5.
Rate for IJL is 3/5 for the bad experience (for no service) I had for 7 month.

Eyrina has been very patient and detail oriented. She takes the time to listen and give advice when solicited. She is kind hearted and smart. She is helping me in this journey and I trust her judgment. I feel like I can tell her all my thoughts freely and that her feedback will be direct and honest.

First date in 20 years. I was a nervous wreck, end it couldn't have gone more smooth. Great restaurant and even better company. They take all of the guess work out of it. Just show up and have fun.

Could have a little more communication and checking in and following up on dates or matches in progress. Starting to feel like my must haves in a match are just now really being considered after a few dates.

While I J L is not for everyone, I found that it is working for me. Though a bit expensive for a 12 to 18 month experience, the staff seems truly out there to help me find a perfect match. I have been assigned a life coach. EYRINA. She has to b the best there is. She has experience and it shows. She cares about me and she cares about the matches she makes for me. Tough position…. To worry about both people in the match. I am convinced after just one successful match that Eyrina will b successful in matching me when it is all said and done!

Jaiye is one of the best at IJL. Always positive and very professional. Works very hard to find the right match for you. Great about getting back in touch with you and a Great communicator

I signed up with IJL about a year ago. Overall I am disappointed with my membership because I have not been able to find a potential partner. I signed up for the de luxe program and spend a lot of money. I have only been on 1 date and the few other times that I was interested in meeting someone the dates were cancelled last minute.
My matchmaker Amy was absolutely delightful. She really took the time to get to know me and I know that she did her best to find a good match for me.
The problem was however that there were no men in the network that I was even remotely interested in. That was the biggest disappointment for me in this whole experience.
I know though that Amy had my best interest at heart. I was extremely satisfied with her work.

I used IJL many years ago and the improvements they made the process. I appreciate the addition of how the screening process has improved and can accept or decline an option. Being able to get that additional information is helpful compared to my prior experience being more of a blind date. Also accepting the date and synching with availability with my calendar. I like that they added a dedicated person to go through the process to help find the best possible matches.

I think the site needs to open up to allow for more personalized interaction with the date that you select.

Had a wonderful date - it took a little time, be patient! My matchmaker did an excellent job paying attention to my preferences and interests. I had so much in common with the gentleman I met. 🥰

So far its been a great experience. The process was in-depth and thorough in order to gather the information necessary to arrive at appropriate dates. IJL has delivered on what they said they were going to do. Jaiye and I have had several candid conversations and I believe he got me and listened to what I as looking for.

My matchmaker Perla is exceptionally kind and thoughtful. She genuinely cares and invests the time to ensure a perfect match for me. My experience has been wonderful, and I am truly grateful for such an opportunity.

I was a little apprehensive in trying a MatchMaking service, but the onboarding process left me with a good feeling, I recently went on my first date with them and enjoyed the experience!
We had a very easy 3 hour chat, and are setting up a second.

I want to express that if you're considering giving them a chance, be cautious. I once did, and when I wanted to cancel due to issues with their matchmakers, they assured me they'd improve, particularly highlighting Tanya's good personality. However, the overall experience with Just Lunch hasn't been effective if you're serious about finding a match. They lack accurate information about potential matches, and sometimes your date may not even show up, leaving you waiting at the restaurant with no support available.

I had a wonderful experience with James, who I then signed up and was given Marina as my matchmaker. Although the right person hasn't shown up yet. I have to give kudos to Marina for being very responsive, as far as answering emails and phone calls. But most importantly, her compassion in the way that she explains what the process is, and the confidence that she instills in a love future for her clients, ME!

The experience has been great so far. I've had a couple of wonderful dates and have enjoyed working with my matchmaker on honing in on what a great fit looks like. It's been a fun process and I'd recommend the service to those have busy schedules who are looking for serious partnerships.
