When the Indian high commission's rubbish website stopped working and there was a need for an urgent visa, i-visa website was quick, prompt and reliable. They even sorted out my confusion over a chat. The Indian High commission's emergency contact line also does not work. It is a such a shame.
I was very pleasantly impressed- I had not intended to click on a third party provider but apply directly for my evisa for India. However compared to my wife's experience of applying directly, it was worth the fee. The website /portal for iVisa was much easier to navigate and to populate with my details. I subsequently got talking to an ex-colleague, a PA who used to arrange travel, visas etc for execs and she said she always used a (reliable) agency for visas. So based on my limited experience, I'd use again.
I was told I needed ETA visa to come to Sri Lanka, I said if I needed one as I would not be leaving the airport, I was told that I need one to come through customs, this didn't happen and I feel I've been ripped of, for 200 dolllars. Originally told 142 dollars, I'd like to some answers

The visa system was trouble free, normally I just deal directly with govt representatives, but the experience of using I visa was a very good one. If I needed multiple visa this is probably worth the annual membership.

I was in urgent need of having a current VISA produced for my business trip to India.
It was clear that I was personally not in a position to apply for my new visa.

This service was a bit difficult to use. The online facility is clunky and frustrating and took numerous attempts to get right. However, when compared to other ways to obtain a visa this is by far better. I would recommend that people use this service but leave a day aside to be frustrated with the online portal.

I had no problems with the Immigration in India, they do ask for a printed copy, so I suggest you have a printed copy and just not the one on your phone.

I completed my visa application for my March trip in December, and honestly, I was nervous about doing that but didnt realize that it wouldnt be submitted right away until after Id filled everything out & paid for it. But, Ivisa checked over my information (to make sure it was complete) & kept it on file until 30 days before my trip. They submitted it when they said they would and confirmed it by sending me an email. I received my Visa THE NEXT DAY! In all of my interactions with ivisa staff, they were courteous professionals (resolving issues, reassuring me that the application Id submitted was complete & would be submitted on time). Ill definitely use them again! Highly recommend to anyone who needs a visa!

It is complicated because, since you need the visa only for a stopover at Canadian airports, it does not allow you to inform about the different days and stopovers you make in 1 week within Canadá.
