It was a pleasure dealing with Kevin. He was courteous, attentive and very capable. Addressed my issue immediately and did not keep me hanging on the line. I highly recommend your customer service. Elliot G
This is one of those unethical businesses that is around. I was charged $166 for 6-months membership without my consent. I tried to get the membership cancelled by writing to them a number of times, and called them few times. I have not received a single reply nor acknowledgement from the company. These kinds of businesses should not exist. I have never seen a business that starts with $0.99 and then switches you to 6 month membership costing $166. Somebody should put these people out of business. The CEO went to Columbia university, and has history of legal shenanigans. I cannot fathom how a reputed school can admit somebody like this. Accountability starts from the top. An organization is the reflection of its founders/management. Update: I got my refund, but still is NOT right.
That didn't help me find the job, I want. I kept getting wrong jobs in the newsletter, so it's wasted money for me.

I generally agree with the other reviews. They have extremely poor service and the method of luring people in with "free trials" ends in their charging your credit card under shady circumstances. It takes forever for anyone to respond and they incorrectly charged my card which I am fighting. Their a- is getting reported to the Better Business Bureau. Really bad business model to piss off MBA's and the like.

Online home for MBAs - I was sent an invitation to join this website a few times before I explored the possibility. One of my Duke buddies invited me (I guess they pre screen you before letting you join)
The jobs I found are pretty solid. I am trying to transition to a different industry and found plenty of options.
They are online/offline, so if you call them they actually pick up!
Def worth the 5 minutes registration process

Tried applying for a job via SimplyHired & it took me to Ivyexec.com of which it said I had to register in order to apply for the position. I got a could not be approved for membership email back with some lame reasons. I could care a less about being a member - I just was interested in applying for the job. It was the job I do now - same field, same industry. Are they covering themselves legally - seems that they are discriminating on certain factors... but turning around and sending lame excuses as to why the "membership" was denied. Don't bother with this site - you can most likely find the same job somewhere else.

Do they recruit or just place ads? I applied for a job and they denied my application with no reason... they said it could be one of three things... how is that helpful.
I'm a headhunter and have been since 1998... don't pay for this service, especially because you could do a search for many of the jobs and find the employer directly...

Applied for a job they had posted. The following day I received an email saying that I need to "complete my application." Clicked on "complete my application." They wanted money to complete my application. Called IvyExec's marketing phone number. No other phone numbers listed. Asked whether my job "application" had been forwarded to the hiring company. Was told "no." Stay away from this "recruiting company!"

What a rip off! They just want your money and claim to offer 'superior' benefits, but there are so many search engines and free sites, don't waste your time and money!
I would give it 0 stars if I could

Promptly rejected within 12 hours because they could not approve my application. I have a BS in Pharmacy, an MBA, and I have started 3 successful businesses but I have 28 years of experience in sales and business. Maybe my age is a problem; I'm 50!
Beware experienced sales execs, your age may be a problem. Isn't this called discrimination?

Cool website with good jobs in consulting. It came recommended through my school. I spoke with a recruiter at the ivy exec who got me an interview with a consulting firm here in Boston. Although i ended up taking another position, the people at ivy exec were very helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend this site.

I was notified that they could not accept me. Now I know why. I never give them all the correct information until I get something in return. Scam artists should not be in this business. People are hurting and then you get these scum bags. Go to linkedin and Dice they are the best. Hopefully these scum bags go broke and lose all their assets. Sounds like some think they are better class to me. Don't need them and neither do you.

Ivy Exec has posted key opportunities serving a diverse client base. The system has been user-friendly, clear and concise. Most importantly is the ability for companies to respond to customers being supportive. My communication has been timely and positive to say the least. I highly recommend Ivy Exec! Awesome customer support team; thanks Kevin!

I was paired with a Career Advisor who took the time to review my resume and gave me relevant, specific tips to improve my resume along with some examples. I was also invited to schedule a follow-up appointment after making the suggested changes to make sure that the changes fully show my skills and experience. The career advisor also listened to my current situation and suggested other job searching methods such as connecting with alumni through LinkedIn. Overall an excellent experience.

My staff representative, Nii, was able to accommodate a busy schedule with concise, positive feedback on how to revise my resume. Great interactions and ability to communicate via email, phone, and Skype, very well.

A colleague suggested that I look into Ivyexec.com and what services they might have to offer. Ivyexec presents a stress-free way to further my career with some of the most helpful webinars I've managed to come across. If you're looking for solid, insightful advice on moving forward and improving yourself, your work, and your life then I highly recommend that you consider using their resources.

1-star for not explicitly stating that new user accounts will be charged money unless they cancel on time. This is a really shady and low tactic for someone clamming to be in the best interest to ivy league execs. More clear honesty in regards to their unethical billing practices would turn the company for the better but sadly, they are choosing the wrong route.
Whoever is at the top of this group of individuals needs to reevaluate what is more important, a healthy & honest business, or a quick digital scam within the recruitment industry. If enough recruiters and scorned users gather together against IvyExec, this company and its employees will forever get tainted within the industry.
TL: DR - Stay away from this company and its employees. They have been having steady complaints against them ever since 2011.

The person I spoke with, Kevin, was helpful, kind, and, responsive. He handled my cancellation professionally and to my liking. I really like the service, but I got a job - he is keeping my basic membership so I can continue reading materials you send out. Keep up the great work! Thank you for all you do.

I don't know how this outfit unscrupulously got me into a $42 monthly auto-renew which they kept taking from my credit card which they obtained through credit check. I am employed and do not need any of the sub-par services of this group. I created an account in their site to view the executive positions they advertise. I just caught their scam while reviewing my credit card charges. There's no way to cancel your account or delete your resume at their website. I called them but nobody answers nor call back. This outfit should be reported somehow and get penalized for their scam.

Had a free all access trial that wasn't useful.
Without warning account gets charged for renewal of subscription, which I don't want or need. No response to anxious mails to IvyExec or to the complaint form.
Date of experience: June 4, 2014
I received a cold & discriminatory form letter denying my application for representation. I will not be recommending their services. Also found out that they are scamming people out of money. Read all the reviews people!

The site prompts you to sign up or join it, but after you do, you get a very lovely message that you have been rejected with no clear explanation as to why.
How can they say they are an Employment Agency when they turn job seekers away?
I then questioned this and received the following:
Thank you for your email. Our professional recruiters rigorously evaluated both your academic background and professional experience. After careful consideration, we were unable to approve you for membership. While we were extremely impressed with your credentials, your background is not the right match for the majority of the opportunities we have at the present time. Thank you very much for applying for membership.
We wish you all the best for the future.
Not the right match? Excuse me!
STAY AWAY! FAR, FAR AWAY!

I had some issues with my account and after speaking with Kevin Ko, via email, everything was taken care of immediately. He was extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. Thank you Kevin! You're amazing at what you do.

Any reputable site will let you cancel at any time and refund any unused fees. Ivy Exec's "get lost" policy sums up the type of site they are. Do not give them your credit card details, they will happily help themselves, not send you reminders about billing and then blame you for the charge. Not happy, not impressed.

I have many fond memories of my time working with Ivy Exec while I was on my job search. I no longer have a membership because I've since found work (thanks Ivy Exec!) but I would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone who is well qualified but struggling with their search. The support they give is priceless.

I am an employer and was sold on how they review the resumes. I found our their review terms do not require grads from top rated universities.
Only 10 candidates pulled up against our match in the entire US (ASP.Net Developer by the way). All ten were on a Visa and only 2 graduated from a top 100 university. We told her we needed top 10 or 20 graduates with 3.7 GPA or higher. After less than 30 minutes of using the site, I tracked down their number, which was not easy and she was very upset that I wanted to cancel. But after trying to sell me again, she agreed to a refund. Then she emailed saying she would refund us minus the 7 resumes I viewed. Now she says she has processing fees. Basically selling me again on the back end. There is a reason why this site has been around for years and no one has heard of it. It is just doesn't work. Dice and LinkedIn are the best for us. And those sites list their phone numbers.

I rarely write online reviews, but i wanted to share my experience with Ivy Exec, as I recently accepted a position with a premier consulting firms, thanks to one of their recruiters who put me in touch with the company. I was out of work for close to 6 months, so this has been a very positive experience for me.
