If you saw any other reviews, you should know many reasons. One of my 4 main reasons is that first of all, it's expensive! If you want to learn all 4 main school subjects, you have to pay 19 $ a month! The worst part of that is ixl isn't even good! Now although it has many options for learning stuff, that's also one of its many downfalls. When there are so many options, it feels like you have to do all of them to be up to standard! Also, the diagnostic is pretty bad. I have taken many other standardized tests, and none of my scores match up to my ixl levels! Also, the awards are very bad. All you get for the torturous hours of pain you sometimes have to go through to get one thing done is not worth a dumb stamp or a book cover or an ice cream icon! Overall ixl is a piece of $#*!.

I hate It. It is so so stressful Yuo get only 3 points when you are are correct and lose 10 points when you are wrong, you can have 99 points at one time but get one wrong and back to 70 points, and I think that is not fair

It not helpful teachers thinks it good place to learn. It takes to much points and it give Stress,Anxiety and it gave me hard time and it not good website and it to much and you should be paying for it

I would give this a 0 but I can't so I give it a 1. This is my worst nightmare and I want it to be over. I hate this so much. This causes so much stress. I've learned nothing from this. I want it to not exist anymore.

This website is very educational and rewarding to those who take their time and actually try on each question and after all it is radical dude. Like bruh, who would not use this program. It is the best in the whole wide radicaaal world! I do not know why this is not rated the best website west (and somewhat north) of the Australian current. I can not express in words how radical it is! And one time they asked me how many dinosaurs there were and I answered three and it said it was correct! I could not be more satisfied and amazed with this radical program.

This website gives me so many bad memories. I remember that I would literally cry over this. And I lost more points than I gained. Whoever made this website really enjoys making people cry and making them miserable. Honestly, just delete this website. And teachers, school people, school board, etc... if you see this... please for the love of God don't use this application in schools. This is the reason we fall asleep during class. This is the reason we are up late at night. I had to stay up till 3 in the morning one time doing this crap. But would I would majorly change is the point system. Make it to where you don't loose points if you get it wrong!

I tried grade one in this ixl learning website and guess what I found. When it asked me how many cars are in the picture... It clearly said 8 but the right answer said 9. Like wtf on earth is this. Some tim hortons learning app? Why pay money for this... Maybe your mom would.
Go use prodigy. Its much more funner expect the stupid membership thing but its not that stressfull.

IXL literally made me shed tears. I've been doing this Math work for over 3 hours and I keep getting the last question wrong. These questions are not made for kids. This is the cause of mental health problems. IXL is haunting kid's lives. You even killed student's will to be successful. Like literally 13 million kids are suffering right now. Please I DO NOT RECCOMEND IXL.

I got 10 queston wrong and he was back to 76 this is exacly why people are hating on the school system please fix your ways but for now it is the worst app ever paul mishkin baldi basics is better then this in education and that says alot

IXL is so bad that when you get something right, it only gives you 1 point. But when you get something wrong, it is like "haha, you are dumb, time to take away 10 points" like, dude, this system is very unbalanced. I remember back in 3rd grade when I had some ixl for homework, and I stayed up until like mid night doing it. 1 star.

Don't do it, at all. I have to cheat because they have to make the problem explanation so complicated. My teacher decides hmm, how about we teach them something then do IXL even though what I taught them is not in IXL AT ALL. She doesn't test it, she just gives it to us and runs.

As it is understandable why teachers may like ixl as its a way for students to learn and make progress. It is very frustrating from a Students POV as I get the questions correct and get 1-2 points but when I get a question wrong it drops my score drastically which is the frustrating part. Also for some questions I put a space or write it differently but still equals the same, it still marks me wrong. This app is amazing for improving your academic goal but it is very frustrating. This app has many potential but it needs some improvement to make the experience better.

This app respectfully makes me want to throw myself down the stairs and cry myself to sleep.

Don't use this unless you HAVE to. All it does is frustrate you, and the SmartScore system is even more corrupt! So if you have to use this in the future, your gonna know what absolute hell feels like. If you already use this, you know how the rest of us feel. This website is nothing but pathetic, useless, bull$#*!.

This doesn't help at all! My daughter is being forced in school to do this. She's a 5th grader and it automatically thinks she knows how to do a topic that has never been taught in class. It doesn't teach whatsoever. It is supposed to teach so the child knows how to do it, but instead, expects him/her to know how to do it without teaching them. Just homesschool your kids, guys. Whoever made this is insane. I'm glad I live in America so I have a right to homeschool my kids without making them do this. Really cruel

Ixl is super bad. Every time i need to do it i end up really mad because like, you get to 80 and then you get 1 wrong and your back to seventy. It also doesnt provide things like rulers and that stuff.

If I could give this a 0 star review I WOULD. IXL Is very very stressful. It is just hurtful and this point. I dont learn anything but depression from IXL anymore. Whenever my teachers assign IXL I have to restrain myself from bursting out into tears. My father is a teacher and he thinks that IXL is absolutely horrible as well. Please, everyone who has had to deal with the utter stress and dismay of IXL, please we need to come together as a people, to shut down IXL.

As a student, I find IXL as an extremely stress filled "lessons" and we get assigned like three per classtime! The points system makes SURE that you lose ~25 points every time you gain 30. IXL is the very definition of one step forward, two steps back.

It stresses me out so much and its so riggged and confusing i once spent 50 mins on not even half way and i almost smashed my laptop doing ixl dont try getting member ship its a waste of money and it makes ur child cry and id rather stay with a abuser for 1000 years in hell then this fuking waste of time ixl drin my $#*!

I wouldn't even want to rate this but the lowest I can go is a one. They make it very so you are very nervous because they do a points system. For example let's say you have 93 points and are about to finish and, you mess up a question you go down to a 76. The worst part about it that is you go up by four max at the end of it. It made my friends very agitated and not in a great mood like they usually are. The help part of it is a joke the videos show a different part of the topic then you are on. The learn with example is also on a different topic. Please parents and teachers don't put your kids through this and save your money. It will only make your kids dislike learning.

I've been doing IXL since kinder and I'm in 8th right now. This website didn't even teach me anything! I stressed, had break downs, and I just wanted to give up so bad! IXL really depended on my grade so I had to work for ages just to get it done. I also spent my entire weekend sitting and staring at the screen so I could get a good grade TWICE. IXL really doesn't teach you anything and I'm glad I wont have to do it anymore.
